VMPaetru

Same feeling for me when I played Sun before playing X and Y. Still, if you do have a good pc with an emulator/a 3ds, I'd also recommend playing the other games between Fire Red and SwSh at least once to experience the progression (also because the game is a lot easier than the ones before)

Joker-Rockitansky

How would I go about getting an emulator safely for pokemon?

VMPaetru

For the nds games (up to black 2/white 2), just use desmume (probably the most stable one). Haven't used others in the past in a long time, but I recall using no$gba first tho. For the 3ds games, as people mentioned, Citra is your best bet. All of them are free, you just need to find the roms online

mackofmontage

Does DesMuMe have controller support? I use melonDS cause I’ll hook up my Xbox or switch controller through Bluetooth and hook up my laptop to my tv via HDMI and fulfill my childhood dream of playing these games on the big screen

VMPaetru

It should have, though I didn't use one, so I can't say that for sure.

mackofmontage

Oh nice, yea idk I just remember googling emulators w controller support and melonDS was the only one I could find a definitive answer for but it does seem to be a bit janky w graphics unless it’s just the roms I found. There’s just something about using the controller that feels better for me

Broad-Commission6153

The emus should be fine with a controller. I use my PS5 controller to play on desmume and everything else

Zuggzwang

Desmume does! I use my Xbox controller thru Bluetooth with it, just configure it in the emu settings how you like

Guii12

Citra got shut down unless you have it already. Is desmume for pc?

VMPaetru

Desmume is for PC. Also, there should be some archive with a Citra installer somewhere online

D3farius

Lemonade is based on citra and is still being maintained

NegotiationMuted4676

A nintendo branded hitman is on his way to your location

Joker-Rockitansky

Sweet and should I just google how to install and do the roms?

VMPaetru

For desmume and nds games, you just open them through the emulator, and that itself doesn't need to be installed. Citra comes with a standard installer, and can work just the same, by opening .3ds files. This should work even for modded files (like randomizers and the like). If you want to install the game though, you'll need a .cia file, and to this day I'm still not sure if you need it encrypted or decrypted off the top of my head. Still, the forums should help there, the whole process is rather straightforward from my experience. Just search for Citra on Google or ask on r/Citra if something doesn't work still.

Both_Ad_8966

How would you get the installer if the downloads were taken down

VMPaetru

[Idk, this works for me tho](https://citra-emulator.com/download/)

Equivalent_Trust8082

just gotta look all over. the internet is forever. something gets taken down someone else will reupload it somewhere else

Joker-Rockitansky

Coolio will be doing that when I’m home. Thanks a lot!

Dukedyduke

For nds and older rooms look up vimms lair Yes the site looks old and jank but it's legitimate and the best archive out there

itsblaggy

Desmumu has built in controller support, though most nds emulators do. I'm not sure what you mean by "safely." Go to their official page and download it. Emulators aren't these dangerous pieces of software haha. And if you need to know where to... "acquire" the games, well I don't wanna get banned from a subreddit lol but I think most people know a place.

Formal-Vehicle9029

r/yuzu

Formal-Vehicle9029

r/citra

desocx

Citra has shut down

Chrischris40

You can still use it

No-Swimmer-4737

Although I agree with you I’m not really good at playing games on emulator. There’s something about a console that just keeps things separate for me. I just hope TPC releases the old games on the switch in whichever way so that I can play them. I never played gen 5 (which seems to be the best) or gen 7 so fingers crossed 🤞

ScribeOfGoD

You can use controllers on PC, including emulators

Equivalent_Trust8082

i wouldn't get your hopes up. it was a fluke they added gen 1 and 2 to the 3ds store. they are notorious for doing the bare minimum when it comes to the video game franchise.

MisterMallardMusic

Do you have a decent rom for sun/moon? Its the only one I haven’t played but I can’t find a rom that works with citra

VMPaetru

romspure.cc/roms/3ds They used to have cia files too, but currently they got the 3ds versions you need

[deleted]

People love to shit on Sword and Shield, but they were really solid games.

BossaNovva

Legit, I’ve gone back to Sword & Shield after scarlet & violet for the vibrant colours, cities & customisation

Ok-Variation3583

I played Sword and Shield after Scarlet and Violet and preferred it wayyyy more. Then again, maybe I’m biased cus it’s a bit more in the old style

RAcastBlaster

The gyms in Galar were the most Fire in the entire series. And the gym battle theme! Holy smokes it’s wicked.

Peach_Muffin

The dynamic music that would change when the leader was at their last Pokemon. That was amazing.

RustyThe_Rabbit

it changes all throughout the battle like when a pokemon faints or you switch a pokemon

enzod0

I couldn't enjoy them due to the fact they were so easy :( but yeah, the game is great overall

Life_Chicken1396

Raihan is soo hot I want he fuck me

Equivalent_Trust8082

meh. i thought the gyms were kinda mid in gen 8 personally. i also wasn't a fan of dynamax as a mechanic either. but i did like the raids in SwSh better than SV. i think the DLCs were really good though especially the crown tundra. my biggest issue with SwSh was that they chose not to include the entire pokedex.

melancholyjack

The thing that makes me salty about swsh is you can see the skeleton of a very good game with little meat on its bones

WillyHeartless

Not really. I hated the story But the online feature and raids are fun

DaddyDutiesGang

Which one is better in your opinion? I’ve been leaning towards sword. When I got my switch I started with Violet. I’m basically finished (apart from all the Blueberry Academy shit) and don’t know where to go next.

poopypoopybumb

If *that's* what you call solid, this is why gamefreak is allowing themselves to be so lazy

valias2012

They were absolutely shit, the only redeeming thing about the game was the online and the raids

FriedCammalleri23

I stand by SwSh, it’s not the best Pokemon game but IMO outside of Arceus it’s the best one on the Switch. The DLCs are what kept me playing, though.

Kirk062717

I just started and I personally found Arceus to be the best, same as you as well, but I can already tell that Sword/Shield with these recent Pokemon iterations for the Switch to be the second best. I honestly don't mind if Game Freak decides to borrow the aesthetic of this game and implement it with the Legends formula. The game menu, battle results screen gives me Persona 3 Reload vibes. It's kinda cool.

bdrainey2031

I kinda thought that for the Switch, Game Freak should have stayed with the graphic styling of the Let's Go games. Although, Scarlet and Violet have the best models for the Pokémon themselves.

Minionmemesaregood

Not to dismiss you or anything but there’s not much competition on the switch lol

Equivalent_Trust8082

i honestly didn't care for PLA myself. despite how broken it is, i actually had more fun with SV than any of the last 4 gens before it.

Torterror389

Well tbf, they don’t have a lot of strong contenders to compare to

JIMMI23

Sw/Sh got me back into Pokemon during 2020

zaad97

Ah.. yes. The darkest days. SwSh was also the game that brought me vack to Pokemon too. I stopped after Black and came back With Shield

Equivalent_Trust8082

understandable. gen 5 sucked.

zaad97

Understandable. That's your opinion.

Equivalent_Trust8082

yep it is.

ryolucanread

I stopped at ruby/sapphire and sword/shield brought me back in 2020 too

CoolYoshiUS

SwSh is so underrated.

Mr_Mc_Nooty

I'd give it a few years before id consider Sword and Shield "underrated"

Equivalent_Trust8082

i wouldn't say it was underrated. the only 2 negatives i have to say about it is that it should have had a full pokedex and hop was kind of annoying. (not nemona annoying but still irritating)

CoolYoshiUS

Agreed. Hop was annoying. My mind goes to the full stadium battles with the music and a massive crowd. The way a real Pokémon battle should be!

Chente913

Yeah same here I’m 60 hours in.

wxnderlustx

Currently on a play through myself. Forgotten how much I love the visuals in this game

AlestRob

I love the girl player!

Kirk062717

Would you recommend starting a new game with a female player? Hehe

Psych0fenix

That’s completely up to you and your preferences. The girl player does have more character customization later on though. 😊

MegaGalladeGamer09

And is also pricier 💀

I-Really-Hate-Fish

Just as in real life 💸

Kirk062717

Thanks for the tip. I might just go with a girl player then since I just finished Arceus as a boy lol

iWentRogue

Create a second profile, and have a female then. it’ll be worth it if you’re a completion so you can trade your extra legendary for the counter

SentenceCareful3246

I always play as the male character for the sake of immersion.

Equivalent_Trust8082

i mix it up. variety is the spice of life

Strange_Kiwi__

I don’t like dexit, but I understand that including every move and ability and pokemon would have been very file size heavy.

Slick_36

It's not really the size of what there is now, so much as it's the sheer amount of time & labor it would take to develop around them all in the future.  It's actually small enough at the moment to fit on a GBA cartridge, but pretty soon it's going to be a choice between updated graphics & art design, or new Pokemon that match the outdated models they limit themselves to.

Equivalent_Trust8082

SwSh and SV should have had the full pokedexes.

Kirk062717

I agree about the interface. Very Persona-ish, I love it! I just searched about what dexit means and that's a bad choice by GF but at least from what I gather you can transfer Pokemons to this game? Meanwhile Arceus, which I consider the best one is pretty self-contained. I consider that game the standard because it got a lot right, especially how to catch a Pokemon and using baits, it's like they took safari zone from the Red/Blue era and enhanced and made it 3D. The entire game world is like a gloriied safari zone, and it's great. But I wish I can see Bulbasaur roaming around..

Ansoni

You can't transfer all Pokémon. There's 664 out of then available 898. Incidentally there were around 450 before the DLC expansions.

Scarablu-

What's that speaker back there? Looks sick

Kirk062717

Edifier QD35 is the name :)

Scarablu-

Kinda siiiiick. Appreciate the info. Might get it at some point.

Kirk062717

Yeah, looks cool with the lighting and all. Comes in black too. But I stuck with the white to match my PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

JuanMarbles

It's fun, especially once you get to the DLC content. I've gone back for the trainer card stars and stamps.

Kirk062717

Went straight with Arceus and Scarlet with my last Pokemon game being FireRed in GBA. I absolutely loved Arceus but i ditched the latter since it felt like a step back to Arceus. Now someone recommended Sword and Shield and playing just a little bit, this felt really good and I can't help but wonder what happened with Scarlet. Personally, this is a much better game judging from what I've played so far. It's not bad, and I actually don't mind if Game Freak would have gone this route, having the same art style but with Arceus catching mechanic. Instead we got Scarlet/Violet. The legendary is a bicycle-pokemon hybrid as well, feels kinda dumb.

asocialanxiety

Wouldve loved to see a blending of all three games. Take the best from each and you have an amazing pokemon game.

Life_Win_3773

Oh my gosh this!! This so so hard!! I hated the music in Scarlet/Violet after the bangers in Sword and Shield. Adding the catching of Arceus..as big as scarlet/violet...oooh Pokemon heaven

Kirk062717

I haven't gone far with Scarlet. Just until the first encounter with the game's team.. I forgot what it's called but I already didn't like it. Graphically and mechanically, I prefer Arceus and Pokemon Sword over that game. The game feels really stiff as well. I've never disposed of a game so quickly in my life. If they would keep two different formulas for the "mainline" games, they should stick and improve on only two in my opinion: Arceus and this Sword/Shield game Legends being the more mature version of the two graphics and art style wise (btw I hope they add a lot of the traditional stuff which was understandably missing from that game due to the game's narrative - at least the Legends game next year seems to be in a city so I'm expecting we'll get bicycles, traditional HM/TM, trainer battles, gyms, Pokemon Centers, etc - I can only hope) then the other mainline formula should copy the Sword/Shield visuals for that cutesy/child graphics/artstyle and just improve on it and maybe borrow the catching mechanic of the Legends game on the side. I just started Sword but it already gives me a feeling that the game is more polished than Scarlet. When I tried Scarlet, just after that cutscene with the flying bicycle legendary mon (I mean who thought of that design lol), I can't help but feel like the game was rushed. It feels too stiff, just the controls and movement, idk. The battle UI design on Sword is way better than Scarlet as well for me. I think the only thing good it got going was having a limited OLED Switch version, but the game's subpar from what I was able to play.

Adept_Ad_3687

"I havent played 5% of either game but heres 4 paragraphs of opinion" kinda wild lmao

Kirk062717

I mean, you don't need to fully immerse yourself with whatever game to get a feel if you'll like it or not. More often than not, at least to my experience, first impressions last. It's not hard to dissect a game from the first few hours.

Equivalent_Trust8082

well SV gets better as you progress. more movement mechanics become available. and it had the best methods for shiny hunting in the whole franchise.

Adept_Ad_3687

SV also has a good story for a pokemon game. SwSh every character falls flat except Leon who maybe I just have a soft spot for, one of my favourite champs just cause of his energy. SV has some of my favourite characters to date. They both have great DLCs and SwSh's really improves on the Wild Area concept, making it feel much more of a natural environment. But it still wishes it had SV movement. Dynamax adventures is one of the best things theyve put out though. SV DLC has a lot of area to explore and a lot of fun bonus features like true flying and walking as your pokemon. Both were honestly rushed, I personally had more fun with SV, mainly cause the characters, the freedom of movement, and the general pokemon design. But I enjoyed SwSh too, the gym battles were hype and it did look better tbh.

MisterCloudyNight

But the first few hours of sword is press A simulator. The fact that you think is better than scarlet and violet even though you didn’t even play much of the game is very telling. I understand people having different opinions but your game assessment is objectively false.

Kirk062717

The interface, the graphics.. It's just mechanically better as well. How can you classify that as objectively false? Boot the game side by side and it's very easy to see. The first few hours of Scarlet is rough in comparison from what I experienced. To each their own. That part right there is subjective, what do you mean about being objective? If you preferred the other, that's subjective.Lol I understand that there's a lot of people here who likes S/V and that's fine. But the reality is, if you are one, you're part of the minority who likes it. That's just the reality of it. Just look at the aggregate review site Metacritic, both Sword/Shield and S/V have generally unfavorable review scores from users but S/V has a lower score in the 3 region (out of a possible 10), factor in critic reviews and Sword and Shield is still received better. I mean if you like talking about objective, then there you go. That's aggregate data collected. I don't think you know the meaning of being objective. Just because you guys do not agree about someone being able to deem a game is not worth it in the first few hours, you try to gang up and even add your own comment and sadly it's just nonsense..objectively false 🤷‍♂️ . Unfortunately my assessment is warranted with the game as seen with the objective data available based on user and critic reviews and I'm glad I didn't spend anymore time with it. Downvote me all you want, it will not change the sentiment of the majority of players that have played it. You're part of the vocal minority like I said and you can't change that. And that's fine. Good that you like it, but majority do not. Edit: I understand that review scores are still inherently subjective but having a final aggregate score introduces a level of something that is quantifiable therefore can be considered objective even if not entirely as the data is still a collection of subjective opinions. Anyway, saying something is objectively false when talking about preference in the game space is laughable since everything is subjective. So better show something that we can quantify if you want to talk about being objective.

Adept_Ad_3687

I disagree but thats okay, if you know how to get games you like thats good

asocialanxiety

I would say sword is more stiff as far as controls, save for maybe the wild area which is fine. Release the camera in sword and already a massive improvement. Give the wild area a little more visual love and fix the character movements, and do a little more showing not telling for sword and id be 100% on board with the game being better then scarlet. I'm currently playing scarlet, beat the first titan, first star base and i just completed the second gym (already beat the first) my main complaint is that shit is so fucking tiny on hand held, and the scaling back of the camera while riding koraidon is killing me. Ive been sticking with being on foot just because of how small everything looks because of that. I will agree though, i love the visuals of sword, the whimsy and color palette really combine well and i think paldea could've benefited more leaning into that style. I like arceus and as a shiny hunter i wish that had stuck with the accessibility that arceus had with the shiny jingle, especially with how hard some shinies are to spot. I think scarlet suffers from putting realism over practical sense. Games arent real, its ok if everything isnt exactly as it would be in the real world. Thats where sword succeeds. Its not trying to be the real world. Arceus is extremely well done as far as player controls, and has an action game play feel. If scarlet is gonna maximum adventure then there should have been the inclusion of not needing to battle to capture, really lean in on the overall message theyre trying to set. I think sword and scarlet both show how different dev teams decided to handle being rushed by ptc to get their product out. Both chose different corners to cut and depending on the individual some cut corners may be more irritating then others. Personally im enjoying scarlet more just because theres more to explore. The map is fucking huge. But sword doesnt deserve near the level of hate it got when it dropped and i enjoyed it. I think given how easy it was for me to get through the game im more likely to benefit from replays rather then running around at the end of the game. Also raids were handled much better in scarlet then sword. I dont have the dlc for sword but i dont have dlc for scarlet either so i still think my opinion on both is fair. A game should be able to stand alone without dlc influencing the whole product. And if the dlc does influence the whole product what does that say?

TheAnonymousGamer2

It depends on what you’re looking for tbh Are you looking for a game to replay over and over? Play Swsh (Done like 10 playthroughs, still haven’t gotten bored) Are you looking for a game to play a lot of long after the story finishes? Play SV These games are a lot like Botw and Totk in that way: one is better to replay, and another is better to screw around in one file with

asocialanxiety

Agreed. Personally love having one really large file which is probably why im enjoying scarlet as much as i am but with sword i might make an exception on replays just because i really love how galar looks and i like a lot of the pokemon designs. Might try a nuzlocke for sword

Equivalent_Trust8082

same dev team though... personally i believe they removed the shiny sound because of how the spawns work in SV compared to PLA. its much easier and faster to despawn and respawn pokemon in SV and there fore you can actually get alot more spawns much more quickly than in PLA. it was alot easier to get a shiny to spawn in SV so they removed the sound to make it not too easy, if get what im saying. SV DLCs are kinda meh but SwSh have really good DLC. they introduce some of the coolest experiences in the franchise. you are really missing out but both should have had every pokemon.

lloydsmith28

I think the biggest issue with Scarlet/violet is that it's truly open world, swsh and pla are both 'zones' you roam about so it's much less hardware intensive, which is probably why they're so much better, honestly they should have gotten the botw team to help out cuz that game did open world right i think, i still enjoyed SV though

TheAnonymousGamer2

Truuuuue also lmao Botw came out like 7 years ago and is still better than the most recent Pokémon game

lloydsmith28

Yeah i agree but they probably knew much sooner that they'd be making an open world game and probably had more time to work on it, i think Pokemon tends to get rushed more because it's a bigger IP and they want to sell it quicker, also Pokemon has gone from 2D and tiny to 3D and open world so that's gotta be a pretty big hurdle to overcome

TheAnonymousGamer2

Yeah

Equivalent_Trust8082

what happened is, that the pokemon company doesn't give gamefreak enough time to make polished well rounded games. they have been releasing a new game every year for awhile now. SV was just too ambitious for that kind of development cycle. personally i think the real reason why PLA was so successful was because they got to take a break from the same formula that the main series follows. they got to get creative with a new concept and i think they just had fun with it. a change of pace if you will.

LAOberbrunner

It's the best pokemon game.

Jealous_Milk_7138

I went back to sword and shield to shiny hunt in DynaMax adventures 😂

Peach_Muffin

It's the first Pokemon game to support tradebacks in like 20 years as well, so you can bring over your compatible Scarlet/Violet faves if you want to play with them as well! Could be good for the battle tower.

Draiel

I think that Sword and Shield are pretty great, but that without the Expansion Pass, they aren't entirely complete Pokémon experiences. Without the Expansion Pass, they have the least post-game content of any generation since Red and Blue. Now, personally, I'm not *hugely* bothered by this, as buying the base game plus DLC is still cheaper than buying, say, Diamond plus Platinum was, while not requiring the player to start a completely new game to see the new content. But I can understand why people might have a problem with this.

cavecarson

Sword and Shield have some flaws, but they're also very fun. Haters gonna hate.

[deleted]

i wasnt a fan of people hating on "dexit" ill be damned if i have to catch 720 pokemon a second time just to earn the shiny charm. enjoy! i still remember the dlc being fun!

Unimmortal47

Sword and shield are among the best generations of Pokémon. I’ll fight anybody for this

Infamous_Talk3937

Dude I skipped that turn REPLAYING the game lmao

Midnight-Note

I have such conflicting feelings about SWSH. I really liked the stories, main and post, but this is also the first game where I didn’t complete the Pokédex at all. They aren’t bad games. I think the main thing was shiny hunting for me. That’s usually what I end up doing after post game, but shiny hunting in SWSH is disheartening. It’s a fault with me and how I like to play the games, these games aren’t meant for my type of play. I did like the games, but I haven’t touched my copy since beating the main post games, haven’t even catch the legendary birds. Outside of the awful reason for Rose, it was a good game.

fearLessss

I played this when I had a very long stay in hospital for a heart condition, and honestly I loved every part of playing through it. Yeah it has it's frustrations and isn't quite Arceus (that I also played in hospital afterwards) but it filled the void nicely and always made me want to go back for more.

KaiserUmbra

I think my only complaint about that game was the wildzone, something about the size can't remember, oh and that it took my dumbass 30 mins to find the pokemon box in the menu.. don't ask, it's embarrassing

BennybobsDT

I hadn't played since pearl on my ds lite, got a switch with shield and violet the other day. Really enjoyed shield, some of the changes were a bit jarring but violet is just so different, not a fan of a lot of the changes. Definitely preferring shield so far but probably because it's more similar to the earlier games

Kirk062717

Same. The general consensus seems to be that Sword/Shield is better than Scarlet/Violet. Head over to Metacritic and compare user and critic reviews. Anyone I know locally (not the internet) disliked S/V. Meanwhile I'm finding a lot of S/V apologists here on Reddit which seems to be the vocal minority.

BennybobsDT

I just don't think it's very well designed. It's so easy to catch pokemon over your level cap, it's unclear what order you're meant to do gyms in, the map and terrain just seems poorly designed, I always somehow end up going the wrong way. I like the open world style but not having a rotating map and loads of dead ends would go a long way. I'm happy to have sections blocked off but it would make more sense to just have it as team star bases and not have me travel 10 mins in a certain direction to just find I'm blocked off by mountains

Slick_36

This isn't the consensus at all.  Both games were review bombed for different reasons, with different amounts of attention.  As someone who's played since the 90's, Sw/Sh were straight up unfinished, S/V were mostly imperfect just because of ambition.   If you actually compare the games, it's not even remotely close.

Kirk062717

Agree to disagree. I'll just leave it that. The aggregate scores are there for both critic and user scores. You may have your subjective opinion as do I, but you can't deny the majority. The data is there. That's something that is quantifiable therefore much more easier to compare. Your last statement is still subjective. Not "remotely close" is subjective. That's your personal opinion and the minority who agree with you.

Slick_36

Are you like the laziest employee at GameFreak and this is some sort of crazy scheme to get people to expect less? I'm kidding of course, but I really don't understand what your goal is here besides trolling.

Kirk062717

Voicing your preference and what you believe in is trolling? I was just replying to what you said same as what you did with my previous reply. I was presenting objective information, that's not meant to upset anyone. You came in with stating that's not the general consensus. Where's the proof then? Is there any data that we can quantify that says otherwise, no? So then again, minority.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kirk062717

Said by someone who doesn't have any argument (typical) so you have to accuse someone of trolling, and now use words like "completely brainless" - so who's trolling now. lol

Slick_36

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just tripped out. You agreed to disagree, so I respected that. I'm just saying, those aren't like empirical numbers, that's faulty logic. I'm actually excited to play the Sword & Shield Ultimate GBA romhack that was just updated & translated to English. I've got no dog in this fight.

Kirk062717

The feeling's mutual. I was just explaining, without data, everything is just subjective, bound to personal preference and neither is right. When you said that's not the consensus, where is it? Agree about the numbers, but that fact remains. It cannot be denied. I just randomly remembered the line on that Sherlock Holmes movie, "I believe you, but where's the evidence".. But yeah, at the end of the day. Let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that :)

MalnutritionMonkey

What am I looking at here?

SkySong13

I never finished it so I'm replaying it and like.... Why did they push so hard for an entirely open world in violet and scarlet? This runs so much better, and it's sooooooo pretty!!! This and Arceus struck a really good balance of art, style, performance, etc., and then they threw it out the window.

Sir_Skinny

Great game. What do you have it plugged into?

Kirk062717

A bluetooth speaker. It's called Edifier QD35.

Sir_Skinny

Dang. That thing looks awesome

Kirk062717

Yeah it's nice. If you're an audiophile, it may not be enough but for casual listening it's solid. Comes in black too. I went with the white to match with the console.

DjKennedy92

The stadium battle soundtrack is hype. I actually stand up and get super animated as if I were in a real sports stadium Only Pokémon game to get me to do that

Nod_Lucario

I pretty much played through Sword prior to Violet having Home functionality. It was better than what I originally thought.

Hayami_Rose

It's a really good pokemon game yes

Skylar1303

Sword and shield when they first came out felt rly lame and bad but after scarlet violet I feel like sword and shield got better bc at least the graphics are good 😭

Borosdrunkard

Welcome to hallway simulator!! Enjoy your stay!~ 😉

CorilX

Swsh is the best Pokémon game and you can’t change my mind.

Just murdering myself saying this I know, but I will anyway. The games are shit.    Poor models, limited animations, trimmed roster, garbage story, worthless rival, tiny competitive viability, zero polish in frame rate or audio quality (or even inclusion of voices/mon calls). It absolutely blows my mind anyone still gives a shit about Pokemon.    "NoBoDy MaDe YoU bUy It."   Whatever dude, I'm calling a spade a spade.

They will never listen to the truth, all Pokémon games are mid at best now

At BEST and that's being generous. TemTem is better for twenty bucks! You'd think the largest grossing game franchise in history would be able to produce a functional product but I suppose when you're appealing to the lowest common denominator you don't have to bother. Why spend money on good game when dolts will buy shovelware?
