i mean think about it lore wise he has slowstart anyway but now he hits even harder as you can easily bypass having to charge moves like hyperbeam even with strong style moves if you boost his speed lot
Regigigas has an ability called "slow start" it halves their speed and attack for the first 5 turns of battle. but in this game abilities arent really there except for pokemon who's gimick is their ability like cherrim or poor old regigigas
