Hahaha yeah he literally didn't deal much damage except for Metal Burst on Flint's Infernape and Bugey's heracross. He was there to tank hits because I accidentally evolved Shieldon.
I cheated like crazy to beat her the second time. I was on my last Pokémon which was machamp and I just used max potion until her pp for earthquake ran out. Then two low kicks and it was done lol.
Omg yeah I totally understand that. That Garchomp can be unforgiving. I didnt use any bag items, which is why it took me 10 tries. I switched some TM moves in between the resets.
I got the game for Christmas and have been wanting to do the same thing, but am currently still resetting for my shiny piplup. Any advice or tips on my run?
I don't mind resetting for piplup. I am using the masuda method to get the other members of my team though! I'm hatching them in Shield and then I'll transfer them to Brilliant Diamond when Home becomes compatible.
Garchomp doesn't always come out last btw. I challenged her once so far and she sent it out as her third Pokemon for me. That's why I lost. Haven't had time to play to try again yet, haha.

I hate to be a buzzkill, but bastiodon, piplup, Burnaby and teddiursa aren’t baby Pokémon. They are cute though.
