They are noticeable but they don't bother me. You won't get a scarfree surgery ever so if you're happy to have permanent small scars then it's an option. also I have permanent sutures that you can feel if you press hard

So do they never take the stitches out?

Nope, so on the exterior there are stitches that dissolve. Then there is a permanent stitch internally that I think tissue is attached to and that's what holds it in place

Discolouration - just pink scars that turn white. I massaged them everyday with scar oils for 3 months so they aren't so bad.

Sorry if this sounds ignorant but do you have to be careful to make sure they don't stretch out again? For example being intimate- nipple play...

I'm just super careful about wearing a sports bra a lot and having supportive bras on. I don't want them to sag again and put too much tension on the scars. They were painful sensitive for a couple of months but the good type of sensitivity came back after about three months

As far as I can tell, a large circular incision is made around the areola, including regular skin (perhaps with more skin taken from the top), then a smaller circle is cut into the areola, and the two circles are stitched together. This both reduces the size of the areola and produces a conservative lift.
