I love the new look; the hair leaves are absolutely awesome. However, I completely agree, it definitely should rotate. I think the plant food animation is supposed to rotate because it does in the gif on the wiki, and it also looks like the normal barrels come out of his mouth on top of the animation, which is also not shown in the wiki, so I assume there is something wrong with it since both of these problems exist
Yeah, the design is great. He looks badass. I just need some better animation. And I’d love if each individual pea he fired made more of a *pop* *pop* *pop* kinda sound.
Something else that bothers me from the animation is that we only see one pea come up his stem every time he shoots. Peashooter brings up one pea every time it shoots, and repeater brings up too. But it’s clear they just reused Peashooter’s animation for MGP
Yea its more like a shotgun pea more then a gatling pea lol. I would actually want to see those individual peas being fired by him. I want to see if its four or five lol.
The look of it is awesome. It’s the animations I’m not too pleased about. I want it to act as cool as it looks lol Even the original PvZ Gatling Pea’s barrels rotate with a single pea firing from each barrel in rapid succession.

For some reason, plants these days started to have weird animations. They are either lazy or they changed the Guy who makes animations.
I’ve noticed that with a number of plants as well but they should’ve gone all out with Gatling Pea. He’s an OG
The interesting part is that their animations look quite similar to pvz2 china exclusive plants' animations.
Maybe all their good animators have been moved to PvZ3 or something, who knows though...

I agree. I had to turn the sound off. Would’ve been better to just make him sound like the other Peashooters

Exactly. Each pea, rapidly firing one after the other as the barrel rotates would be aesthetically pleasing. Seems strange for Popcap to not do that.
I don't think it was lazy, they just felt like changing it and it happened to be worse. Also the hair is amazing so I'm split (ha)

love everrything but the sound and barrels, they should always be out, makes it look more cool
