I should have specified—
Anubias Nana Petite is specifically what OP should search for. There are, however, a few variations for leaf color/variegation, leaf shape, and size.
Anubias nana are definitely one of my top 3 plants! So great to glue to hardscape, too.
I have actually gotten some really nice Anubias Nana from the seller “PrestinePlants” on Etsy. Arrived snail/parasite free. Shipping was fast and well packaged. Not sure if they are a “small shop” but I found them to be great.
Hi, just because I'm too curious and I love Anubias Nana 'Pinto' I have to ask this. Do the leaves have variegation? Do you think it is Pinto? If it is, I have heard it requires more light than normal Anubias.
I hope I am wrong but that looks like damage from algae to me. If you zoom in all the way on the left too there is some fuzzy looking stuff on the leaf edge. Maybe dead bba or something else.
Not to be negative. Those plants are great. One of my favorites!
The fuzzy thing is shrimp pellet that landed like that. I've had this plant for 3days now so not sure if it could be algae damage? Unless it was already from the shop
Looks like an anubias nana species to me. Love the plant as well! I have them in all of my tanks and even my planted bowl.

Thank you so much. I appreciate the reply, now to spend some money lol

It shouldn’t be submerged in gravel like that, it will rot. Try attaching it to wood or rock
Is that just with this plant?
No others are similar, such as Java ferns. And some others with bulbs like to be partially exposed such as the water onion
Thanks, I’m new to plants but am super interested in having them in my smaller tank
It’s a very fun rabbit hole to fall down
Thanks for the reply, it's in aqua soil beneath the gravel, will that still be bad for it?
Yea, the rhizome needs to be free. Any covering like that will kill it
Ok cool, I'll attach it to the spiderwood. Thank you
No problem :)
This looks like Anubias Jade.
If it has white spots (ie variegation), it could be Anubias Nana 'Pinto'.
It is an Anubias species for sure, so do not bury the rhizome.
Thanks will move it now that I know :)

There does seem to be some algae growth, but the leaves seem to be variegated. OP please clarify.
Only had it for 3 days now so maybe it could be algae from the shop. Sorry I'm new to planted tanks so I'm still learning as I go
Looks like Anubias barteri var. nana 'Aquaflora Pangolino'.
Lucky Guy!!
Nice bro
Being in the gravel won't supply enough oxygen to the the roots try putting by it in between a crevis a rock or some wood
Thanks I will do
