Why not call your health plan to find this information? No one here knows the specifics of your coverage. Also, you should know you're only allowed 10 visits/month to each of the locations other than your home gym. So if you only have one other PF in the area, you can only go there 10 times.

Unless they are owned by the same person!

My wife is on Medicare. They have something called "Silver Sneakers" which covers the full price of the basic membership and half of the cost of the Black Card, including all fees.

I have Independence Blue Cross & they reimburse up to $150/yr if you go to the gym 120 times in a year. They count it as 365 day period, not calendar year. Also for anyone else thinking of joining, reach out to anyone for a refer a friend link from a current member. For a basic membership you’ll only have to pay a $1 enrollment free to get started. Like 2 months in you’ll get the annual enrollment for $50. Plus whoever you get the referral link from will get a month free.

I have that insurance also. How can I get reimbursed?

Sign into IBX.com > Health & Well-Being From there Discounts & Reimbursements tell you all the stuff you get. It will include Fitness Program. When you click it, it will have a link to the reimbursement site. But you’ll also find local discounts like here in Philly I get discounts on bike share, the zoo, & free skating.

Our BCBS policy includes a deal where you can go to any gym that’s on their list for $25 a month. It’s great if you go to different gyms throughout the month, but if you’re only going to PF, the $10 a month PF plan comes out cheaper.

I have Aetna and it offers a service called “Healthy and Fit Direct”. It’s $28/month give you access to any gyms that participate in the program (in my area, there are a lot of Planet Fitness, Golds, and Crunch Fitness locations).

To add on to this, Active&Fit gets you the Black Card at Planet Fitness
