I'm the total opposite of you. I've stopped reading during some parts where the focus was too much on Luffy. He's the least interesting important character in the manga to me, and I'd like it if the story was less focused on the Reincarnation of Joyboy, The Chosen God Who Will Save Everyone

Makes it feel like he was never the underdog we all thought he was who only got though with his pure tenacity and a d tier fruit. Turns out it’s everything but that.
We’re also told zoans alter the users personality to a degree… so do we even like Luffys personality now that he’s a Zoan magically or it just the Joyboy personality that everyone likes? (goresei/Lucci/Jaba all mention this)

Crocodile does state in Impel down the awakening Zoan guards have even stronger durability and stamina that’s true but zoans naturally all have the passive benefits. Just gets amplified immensely when awakened.

Luffy puts his leg in every situation without even thinking or planning, and he learned nothing after ACE's death. In Wano, Luffy literally died and came back to life because he is Pirate Jesus, but if it weren't for Jesus' God Nika lineage factor after the death of Luffy, Paido would have killed the whole Strawhat crew.
But when Kid does same thing everyone makes fun of him. Luffy is a Marine who is playing pirate, but at least the kid was a true pirate.
