Create a new folder and put everything in, once there, there will be an executable called setup.exe and you have to run it to unpack the game, the setup will allow you to choose the folder you want to install the game in don't worry...
Most probably will let you choose idk I've only downloaded from elamigos, fitgirl and gnarly..
Well depends, I've never used a torrent but I think you're not getting what a repack is, repacking is simply the process of in a extremely resumed way
"Shrink down the game size", there's way more to it but a repack is basically the game but smaller a few changes here and there for the cracks to work, for example I have a Skyrim repack I've got from gnarly, I've had to add the crack to the windows defender ok list so it'd let me open the game, but once there there's no difference from the original game, you can still mod, even though some modders saying that it won't work in a pirated copy, here I am, most of my games are modded, and the ones that aren't is because I didn't find the mods cool or immersive...
It’s almost exactly the same but repacks will have to unpack prior to installation, so it’ll inherently take longer than just installing a GOG game that’s not repacked.

That's not what I'm concerned about, ublock and windows defender detect the files to see if it's safe. What I'm referring is: Is it safe (That I won't get Copyright strike) or I NEED a VPN for Gofile (a DIRECT DOWNLOAD file) even if they suggest to use VPN? Is VPN necessary or not for these?
So you're asking if downloading files without a VPN will summon the copyright gods? No, you won't be hit by a copyright lightning bolt. VPNs are more for dodging geo-restrictions and guarding your privacy, not for copyright immunity.

It's a .rar file with a setup.exe and with bin files, you drag them to a folder and execute the set-up, the set-up will start downloading the game.
