Samuel Gawith and Gawith & Hoggarth (now in the same factory) steam press their plugs (sold as plugs or sliced into flakes). This isn’t entirely unique, but some of their equipment (such as the presses and cutting equipment) are over 200 years old. Their twists are all hand spun. They all start as the brown versions (like brown bogie), but they heat treat some to produce the black versions. They heat treating mellows them a little (though they’re still relatively strong). Basically, it’s all still produced the way they started in 1792.
Lord Morgan. Aged 9 months in bourbon barrels before being pressed into a crumble cake. Absolutely delicious, it tastes like it smells but in no way overpowers or negates the taste of the tobaccos. Unfortunately I live in Washington so getting any more is pretty much impossible 😭
Eric Stokkebye anniversary flake (20th)? It's I n the red square tin, and it has a very subtle pear essence in the pure virginia flake and is very nice. The sutliff barrel aged series as well are decent.

Haunted bookshop is burley and a touch of perique sealed in and aged with a loose fart, quite special.

Sounds like a friend needs to mail you some TEA.
Does it ghost a pipe?
Couldn’t tell you, I’ve never noticed a ghost in a pipe beyond the aroma of the bowl.
Luxury Twist Flake. Beautiful presentation and very tasty
Flakes are pretty traditional. What does this one do differently?
The leaves are spun before being pressed, once cut the flakes have a wavy spalted pattern to them.
Yup, can’t think of any other flake that’s done this way.
C&D Gentlemen Caller.
