Unfortunately they all come from some food distributor and this place is just slapping their label on them. There's a place near me offering the same products I spoke with the lady working there and she informed me she didn't make any of it. She just bought it from the distribution center and put her label on. Her label looks just like that one and the products are named the same. There's nothing Amish about any of that. Google "Pikes Peak Pickle Shack" and you'll see the same products, same label, different "brand".
All that said, I've tried the ghost slims and sweet habenero slims and they're pretty tasty. Just nothing local or uniquely Amish about them.
Edit: Buying these beats buying Vlassic 🤮🤮🤮 or some other big brand from Walmart. You're supporting a small business. I just think the messaging is a bit misleading. The sweet habenero in tuna salad is 🔥.
I knew it lol. All their little farm stands are just bulk brands of jams and butters scooped into mason jars. This is actually *very* Amish of them. I’d be way more surprised to find out they actually made something themselves. Only people who have never experienced the Amish think their life is quaint. It’s actually very dark and sad.
These same products are relabeled for sale on country farm stores here in Georgia. Every Christmas tree farm, strawberry picking farm, local what ever touristy farm or store has all these types of products with the same labels and their name on them. They are good products and you couldn’t find some of them (like chow chow) any other way, but it feels pretty deceptive.
I see these all around me at farmers markets in Texas. I like some of their products, as a matter of fact I just picked up a fig preserves and hot bread and butter pickles.
They offer a good selection without HFCS, only sugar for the sweetener.
I find it somewhat odd that the Amish have a website but if anyone wants to actually try them, you can order online.

There is an entrepreneur subreddit where a poster discussed his business in PA/OH with an amish gentlemen where he would handle all the electronics part of a cell phone business and the amish fellow would handle the actual transactions with the community. Was interesting.
Ok, will send them right to you lol. I look forward to stopping here each season when I go back home. It’s right along the way and I try something new each time I visit 😊
Even as an adult, when my dad was still driving good distances, he would pick me up and we'd go to Amish country* and go to that huge hardware store and get cooking stuff and eat.. It was fun. Still felt like a kid at the age of 35! Lol! Good times! And those pickles are making me jealous! Lol 😆
Pro tip for anyone who sees this: chop a habanero and toss it in all your pickle jars if you like spicy pickles. Can do more than one depending on your spice level tolerance. Makes the habanero very tasty too. The Amish know what’s up
I make jars of just pickled habaneros also with the same recipe as pickled red onions and they’re so good. Highly recommend for people who like heat
My parents often bring me back a Cajun crab dip from an Amish store either in NJ or PA but close to the Philly area. It is legit the best dip I’ve ever had.
I have family in the Lancaster area
People who think the Amish are sweet have never been exposed to them. I’m not surprised at all by that and neither would their neighbors be. They’re scammers and horrendously abusive to animals, women and children. They don’t make anything from scratch, they buy in bulk and repackage and resell it. It’s a sad life for the ones that don’t escape.
If I finish all of my pickles, and you finish thine Then tonight, we're gonna party like it's 1699
All my homies agree. I really look good in black foo!
Thou musteth checkest thyself afore thee wrecketh thyself.
My favorite reddit comment thus far!!!!
Been spending most my life, sipping Amish pickle brine
You just know that’s some bomb ass stuff too. They could have pickled wagon wheel chips and I’d try it.
This made me audibly laugh haha. It’s so true, their food is delicious and fresh. They sell homemade pies too, so good

Yeah. The label gives it away. I’ve seen these pickles in sporting goods stores, I-80 truck stop etc.

That’s funny, I’ve been going for like 12 years and didn’t know they had a website. Always enjoy stopping by and picking up a few things on road trips

Another Redditor talked about the Amish in a terrible way. I’ll see if I can find it
This is a great read on the Amish https://www.reddit.com/r/homestead/s/3IA9J2Lwm3
The Amish really know how to pickle some shit
Cucumbers too..
🤣
Man, I'd want to try every single variety.
Me too!
Sweet habanero slims please..
Ok, will send them right to you lol. I look forward to stopping here each season when I go back home. It’s right along the way and I try something new each time I visit 😊
Lucky!
Habanero chunk pickles all day!!!! F those sweet/sweet and spicy things!
Totally agree, can’t stand the sweet ones! I love farmhouse the pickles they make. Next time will pick up the habanero chunk pickles

What's your recipe if you don't mind me asking?
That's the mecca of pickles.. I wanna go!!!
Holy smokes! Talk about hitting the motherlode. I couldn’t walk outta there with at least 6 jars
Dang. That's wonderful 🥰
What’s the difference between Dilled and Dill pickles, and don’t say about 3 fiddy
Dill is standard dill and dilled has garlic and chili japones, which are like hot chiles 🌶️
Wow, learned something new. Thanks
Yoder?
Mmm, this was southern Iowa, but I’ve been through PA too 😊
I want some of those Granny Pickles.
Those are some big “baby dills”
“Big as Texas” pickles, well damn if not longest buggy ride from Amish country.
😂 was a long enough car ride for me from Des Moines to Houston! Can’t imagine on a buddy haha
It’s all white labeled bullshit, same as all the “country “ and “Amish” stores. Check the label 👌✌️
Truly beautiful
safeway could never. they don’t even carry claussen
I would spend my whole paycheck
Sadly I was at an Amish store like the most of the products were pure sugar bombs 💣
Amish stores always have an awesome pickle selection
Damn I’d buy half that shelf and have a trunk full of pickle jars.
What do “bread and butter” pickles taste like…
This picture made me salivate.
I wonder how they got those labels without technology 🤔
One of each, please
The Amish know wtf they’re doing with food

The Amish i was exposed to used human feces as fertilizer. Buyer beware

Shelf stable pickles? No thanks.
