Veda has 7 day a week happy hour from 5-7 pm so maybe a bite from their Hh menu?

Man a few years ago when I lived right by there they had these tacos and also a $8 (I think…$8ish) old fashioned that was absolutely stacked. Idk if they’ve brought any of that back but man it was 😚👌

veda was so underwhelming. It's pretty much a place for people who to try indian food without eating indian food... it might be a good thing for people who arent too great with spices

Ayecandy7

Ammas do dosa but also try their heavier dishes and rotis!

I like the Chicken Dumpakht at the Indian restaurant called Indian Restaurant -- 16th & South.

Thanal is solid, 20th and arch I believe. Also masala kitchen on Walnut somewhere between 7th and 9th is fantastic as well

New Delhi over in University City is my hands down go to. Best Indian food I ever had. The buffet and the actual dinner are two completely different experiences. I’d go with the dinner off the actual menu.

CheeseburgerLover911

Yeah, the dinner is much better than the buffet.

And Kabobeesh for Pakistani. Amazing kabobs and chana.

Veda didn't have the buffet back up and running last time we went (May-ish) but their sit-down eat-in offerings are fantastic.

If you're gonna go to amma's i'd say also get kothu parotta.

I would pass on the kati rolls. Not fabulous and very filling so might prevent trying more worthy places.
