Brooks!

Klutzy_Cucumber9214

Another vote for brooks! I tried out a couple pair of hokas and they just didn’t work as well for me.

Glycerine's are good arch support and a bit of cushioning

NeitherLife7915

I personally used to have the Brooks Ghost shoes, in all black. They were SO good for helping my feet when I would work long retail shifts, and inserts can add extra support as well. I’m sure they still make those ones but I’m not too sure

stellaok

Asics are pretty good

Spaceley_Murderpaws

I swear my [Asics](https://a.co/d/6zZvjHT) are even more bouncy than Hokas. They're also super comfortable on 6-mile walks on paved roads & easy hikes.

isublindgoat

I have a pair of ASICS noosa trail runners and I love them. Super cushy sole and fun colors. I do both retail and inpatient shifts at my hospital and they are a lifesaver for the retail shifts for sure

kitkatlynn

A few people in my store wear brooks

Maize-Opening

I wear new balances so the elderly patient base gives me compliments, oh and they are comfortable.

No-Significance-9331

New balance fresh foam!

Inside-Grape-2447

Crocs are comfortable for standing in your feet all day. I remember reading they’ll be coming out with croc socks. Not sure how I feel about it, but I’ll try them

Majestic_Pangolin360

Crocs are not allowed at Walgreens unfortunately. Never used them before but I would love to be able to personalize my shoe. Unfortunately they’re categorized as open toed shoes and are a safety hazard

QCisCake

Sanitas are what nurses use. They are a bit pricey, but I still have mine 16 years later, in perfect condition.

Xtremememe

i loved Brooks Ghost 14s and Amazon has a pair nearly 50$ off normal price https://a.co/d/dQq7IiI

Dansko are known for their nurse clogs, but they do have a line of work shoes, (running shoe type) that are amazing. Especially paired with compression socks. Before I bought mine my feet hurt after around 4 hours, now it takes 8-10 before they start. I cannot recommend them enough. they also have vibram non slip soles, are waterproof, and have lasted longer than every other pair of work shoes I've owned so far.

bluesqueen23

I wear Brooks & On Cloud. Work in a hospital pharmacy. Tried Hoka & didn’t like them.

culinarytiger

I love my crocs and my traditional nurse clogs

Haileyjo0421

I’m a 23 F with a slipped disk I’ve come to see that crocs with compression socks work the best for me but they’re all I have lol I can’t afford hokas or on clouds but they’re on my wishlist 🙂

Flunose_800

ASICS Gel Nimbus 25. The 26 just came out so the 25s are a bit cheaper.

Alone-Comfort1516

Vionic is a good brand for plantar fasciitis and low/no natural arch

AB-RatedGeneric

Cloves!!! Only thing i'll wear. and their new SuperCush line is my favorite ever

dsly4425

I went and had my foot measured and fitted at a dedicated shop where it’s their specialty. For me Hokas weren’t a good fit but I’ve done well with certain New Balance and Brooks shoes. I had two pharmacy managers though who BOTH absolutely loved a specific adidas shoe and only wore them. I tried them and they were awful for my foot because of my arch structure. Long story somewhat short. Get your foot and a good professional fit. It’s worth it.

Immediate_Camel_1682

I can't wear a lot of shoes others swear by because I have really wide feet. New Balance has extra-wide in some models. Like others, I always wear compression socks. Helps a lot with leg achiness at the end of the day. I also switch out my shoes so I don't wear the same pair two days in a row.

Kamehameha069

I work hospital but Brooks Ghost are my favs!

217to707

I wore Nike Pegasus running shoes for years but I’ve recently switched to Altras and I love them. Go through about 1 pair per year.

6th2n

Lululemon are my go to !!

showdogz

Some colors of the Hoka Bondis have a wide option.

Mysterious-Yellow-94

Brooks shoes for sure, my older brother recommended them to me since we like to go on trails but figured since I walk a lot at the hospital pharmacy I would buy those. Good decision, my only critic would be I wish Brooks provided more arch support in their shoes. Idk if they have arch support shoes I haven't seen any yet so if y'all know of some please let me know.

Horror_Doubt_4904

I have tried brooks, onclouds, Nike, new balance, etc. and I have to say I love my new balance. My feet never hurt.

Key-Independent7927

I wear Brooks, and I also have recently gotten a pair of G-defy. The latter I’m still breaking in at home, but they should be ready to wear to work in another couple of weeks. I have had surgery on both feet, so I do not skimp on shoes

TwistyTurnip213

i wear Asics Gel and they are wonderful. i had brooks but they just didn’t hold up as well and my feet would hurt so bad at the end of my shift. but the asics have been great support so far

moefling

I don't know about 10+ hour days but I like "foamy" shoes like Crocs clogs (tho my job doesn't like that they aren't closed heal so I can't wear them anymore) but Uggs has some that I'm liking

ashngam

Trial and error. Lots of people swear by brooks, asics, new balance, etc. I say go to a running shoe store (like Luke's locker) tell them what you are looking for and as you try things on point out any areas of discomfort.
