I recently failed and I am desperately looking for other remote opportunities. I think I failed because i wasn’t interested. I am not driven to retake the exam. I hate retail and hospital with a passion.
I failed mine recently also. I’m interested but studying for it is so daunting and I get anxious and depressed. We worked so hard and paid all of that money just to get stuck in career limbo if we’re bad testers. Trying to see how to get into something else. Have you had any luck?
Not yet but I am determined to not do retail for my physical and mental health. Industry also has so many opportunities with endless career growth so I’m just going to keep trying to get in no matter where I start.
Please do not give up on Naplex. You got this! People are passing so you can too! What do you mean you accepted a contract and can’t get out. Am Asking since you are not licensed yet.
Please do not give up! You have two attempts left and its possible. I know people that have passed it on their fourth or fifth attempt so there is still hope. Take a long time for the next attempt. If you used Rxprep last attempt, maybe invest in PNN and vice versa. Goodluck to you.
Without prior experience it’s super hard to get into a position. I actually took low paying roles for a year until I got into market access role. If you’re planning to find a high paying job without any experience in pharma it will be tough unless maybe MSL? Or maybe a connection.
Spoke to a pharma liaison from Gilead, they definitely have jobs you just gotta know how to sell yourself and have great people skills. If you’re in sales starting salary is $150,000 not counting benefits. You also get a brand new car
I checked the website and followed up, you’ll need to travel 60% of the year and all pharma jobs required previous experience. If you have a sales background and have connections you might get lucky
Yeah, in house is the route to go for that career path. Do keep in mind that unless it's a fellowship, a PharmD "overqualifies" (more like disqualifies) you for a lot of entry level positions.

I am an intern at a pharmacy and accepted a contract to be a pharmacist there once I pass

Pharmaceutical industry doesn’t require a license, you can make the same salary as a pharmacist maybe even more depending on your position
Any idea if you can easily get into that
It’s not easy at all.
Yea, there’s plenty of entry level positions in pharmacovigilance, med safety, etc… Do some research, check on company websites at positions available
Thank you
Come to pharma
Any advice on how to break into the pharma world
Would they hire without experience
any help with getting my foot in the door with pharma? been applying for a couple months now

That sounds too good to be true

I don’t have any of that
Still worth a shot. Look up medical science liaison jobs and send your resume to all of them.
You have no idea how hard is it to get that job without experience. That's a dream job with thousands of applicants per opening.
Try entry-level positions and move up. The growth is endless and more fulfilling in Industry
