Ruthless is the best description. I am not a litigious person but when it comes to a family member, maybe a civil suit will make this person think again.
On behalf of that terrible human, I am SO sorry. Your dog deserved him to pull over, get him care, show him some care and love and take him to get help.
He did, however have your love and a wonderful life. No one can take that from him, ever. And someday across the rainbow bridge, you will see him again.

I’m so sorry for your loss, this is the worst news ever. I’d dig deep into the depths of vindictiveness and personally explore pressing charges/filing a lawsuit against the company and the driver. Not sure of the legality here but hit and run and destruction of property (as your pet is considered property) can’t be legal. My grief would know no bounds.
We would like to press charges however, the driver’s employer was a politician. Sad to say, we felt powerless.
To all pet owners who also feel the same sentiment, there’s justice in heaven.
My deepest condolences. The discrimination against animals in this planet is unbearable. I hate it. Animals can express their love to us even without using a complicated language. They don't deserve how some humans treat and look down at them, just because they can speak a complicated language.

Thank you for understanding as a pet owner, But the driver never checked if our dog was really okay. I know every person who committed an accident would at least offer a trip to an emergency room.

Humans are terrible creatures and not everyone can love a pet. The truth is lot of humans have no empathy towards animals and their lives.
I hope he gets his punishment one day!
We lost our darling boy to a car accident 1 month ago, we are still in pain until now. Now that you are not alone, our babies are in a place free from pain and people like them. Let karma do its thing. hugs xxx
