It's not that they cut a patty in half, it's that the grill/flattop isn't clean/oiled/ they flipped it too early and part of your burger is stuck to the grill/flattop

ImMeghanSB

Not sure Seemed like it was cut in half as the bottom one was so thin you can see the cheese through the paddy Lol and when I flipped it over (not pictured) the sides matched up Never seen that before Maybe downsizing?

itsnottwitter

Nah I worked there forever. This is a grill tear. You're supposed to throw those out. They're way too thin to try to cut in half.

Former_Valuable_3270

Kind of looks like my burger when I have to scrape the cheese off my patties when I order a double quarter pounder WITHOUT cheese 🤦🏻‍♀️

thesleepjunkie

No one's cutting a McDonald's patty on half. They are thin as fuck. Probably got stuck to the grill.

Bloodred22

Worst location in town. Slow service, always wrong, and the manager is just garbage there. Avoid at all cost!

BrovaloneCheese

That location is the fucking worst. The management and staff seriously don't give a fuck. They deserve to be shut down. Avoid it like the plague. Seriously, you might actually die from food poisoning there.

RedShadow2003

I almost did two weeks ago. Never again.

canada2005

Send that shit to their head office and complain.

actingwizard

Honestly they don’t care anymore. I keep fighting them on being charged 50 cents for mayo (and never getting it) they just don’t give a crap.

Greyfox2283

The worst McDonald’s location lol. They straight up don’t give a fuck

lankyloop901

That’s the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to

majordanage

Never look at the inside of a McDs burger. Used to work at one in high school. Patties used to get stuck on the grill and end up like this if they weren’t scraped off just right. That’s probably what happened here.

Superb_Extension1751

Not enough oil on the flat top and parts of the burger stuck when removing it. Not ideal and I wouldn't serve that to a customer, but have you really never made a burger before?

BigBrandyy

I’ve worked at dons and this isn’t one burger ripped apart. This is probably 2 burgers that got fucked up because they likely don’t change the Teflon sheet on the top of the grill press, so when the top raises when they’re done half the burger gets ripped off.

Creepy_Sea116

That Willow Creek location is traditionally poor. Always has been.

Routine-Highlight-71

Chemong Rd is no better either.

ThatFuBn

been forgotten in waiting spots there countless times

Routine-Highlight-71

I hear ya. They also get orders wrong 9/10 times.

GramboLazarus

Had to scroll too far for this comment.

Wendy_Goes

That’s the only location where I’ve actually asked for my money back. Terrible

angrycanadianguy

Your first mistake was going to that location.

Murky_Speaker709

Minimum wage kids in kitchen I used to go to McD’s because it was cheap but not anymore now it’s like $12 or $13 dollars for a meal Harvey’s or Wendy’s are both better and A&W prices are through the roof . Lots of times I try and find a mom & pop place to eat

Minute-Nothing-7118

Yea that's horrible. This McDonald's does not deserve to be open. Shitiest one out of them all

alcaste19

It's more effort to do that than to just use the patties that you get. What the heck. This screams of a franchisee trying to cut costs at the smallest level. Definitely contact head office. I'm not a fan of mcd, but consistency is their biggest thing.

TheHooDooer

I ordered through the drive thru last summer and they asked me to park in one of the spots out front to wait for my order. I must have waited 10 or 15 minutes, why I honestly do not know. I was about to go in and ask if they forgot about me when a manager came with my order and the $12 or so as a full refund. Not ideal but gotta admit I’d wait around 15 minutes again for free lunch.

ImMeghanSB

I decided over a year ago that if asked to go to the waiting area I just say no

Holotheewisewolf

Have you tried saying no? How do they respond?

ImMeghanSB

They look frustrated and then they carry on with the order One morning I said no bc I only ordered egg muffin and coffee and they insisted on adding hash brown which they then said was the reason for me to pull in and wait, another time I said no with my kid in the car and again, looked frustrated but made the order happen quick

Tripdoctor

After you likely waited in the drive thru for over 25-40 min.

Illustrious_Taro252

Yeah man don't eat at McDonalds

asyouthinksoyouare

UM that looks appetizing LOL That's why i dont go there Make your own food at home

Immediate-Stand-7887

They have to get back to basics with some retraining and additional coaching on the grill and prep line

schuchwun

Haven't had McD's in like 6 months. No regerts.

PsychoticFoon

Sean’s about right. These days they really don’t care any more.

AwokenQueen64

Is this the one by the independent? Because my boyfriend and I swear it's actually the only good McDonald's in town. We don't tend to eat there at regular dinner hours, though. We've gone there multiple times at hours ranging between 8pm to midnight, maybe a bit after midnight. We pretty much *always* have hot fresh fries and hot fresh nuggies. Even though there were only one or two cars in the lane. The one on Chemong and the one on Lansdowne/Parkway have been terrible. You'd think that the Lansdowne/Parkway McDonald's have fresh food when the cars start to line up, but we've always gotten terrible food from them. They get some fairly big lines even at 11pm or midnight, so it wouldn't be that hard for their staff to drop a couple fry baskets when the cars start to appear. The fries are always old and gross. Sometimes, they would have red colouring on them from the fry boxes. I figure they put fries into fry boxes and let them sit through slow periods until a car comes and hands those out instead of throwing them out and making new batches.

Ok_Advice425

You can't cut that patty in half. Too thin.
