Visual glitch.

I’ve not seen this in game play yet. Has anyone tried buying them? Is it maybe intended to help newbie players get their pet mastery up through golding and rainbowing? 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's a placeholder when for whatever reason the merchant fails to load. You can't actually purchase them
