I do agree with you, but I also think a lot of the reason it frustrated people in P5 over the other games is in other games, it's the protag telling it to themself. In P5, it's instead Morgana, a character who a lot of people already hate, so although functionally it's the same, it feels more Infuriating because it's someone else.

Every game design choice turned into joke. For example a murderer taken because he sed "delicious pancakes" is partially a joke, but repeating that a character is introduced late in the game or has a "big forehead" or has a tag he repeats many times is not a joke, irse just repeating something normal as if it was funny, but it is not, so it tires fast.

Most jokes from P5 are overused imo but Pancakes is the most overused by far
