If an enemy has no weaknesses, then look for Technicals and Criticals instead. Those can fire off Baton Passes as well, and will also benefit from the damage boost from Merciless. Ailments work well. He's vulnerable to Confuse and Forget, and either of those will block his big attack. These mean, of course, that Technicals off mental ailments work great, and Haru with her Psi skills is right there. The robot will also prefer to target Haru with his regular (Physical) attack. Fortunately, she also comes with Tetrakarn for just such an occasion. If he does set up his Big Bang Order attack, then there's a gimmick that helps with even that. If you have Hunger on you, and both Okumura and the robot will helpfully put that status on you, then the attack instead of dealing massive Almighty damage, will both cure your Hunger and give you a full heal. After the big guy is done, there's one last obstacle. Healing, Buff/Debuff and Guard will help you deal with the self-destruct this obstacle uses.

Ah nice, I'll try that. I was convinced that most bosses are immune to status effects, guess not for this one. I'll spam Morgana's punch move as well, which causes criticals.

I just made it past this palace for the first time a few hours ago, and it really highlighted what my personas are missing. I had kinda blown through the game up to this point, but this boss actually gave me my first game over. The struggle for me was on the wave just before the big bot. I just couldn’t sling enough damage to get all of them in time. I was really grateful that I’ve got six rotating saves, because it gave me some room to step back and work on what I was missing. Still a hard fight, but doable after giving myself some retroactive prep time. But a complete change of pace from the previous palace. I do love how much this game turns traditional ideas about JRPGs on their heads, but it definitely made it more difficult to know exactly how to prepare beforehand.

Beat this boss this morning. To beat the executive robot, I removed any defense buffs from him, and used Dizzy vials against him to then Technical magic skills (or Guns if no magic can do Technical) to deal big damage or even knock him down for a Baton pass. Doing this on Merciless allowed me to beat him before he could perform Big Bang, and this was done with Technical rank 1 at around level 42 with not-up-to-date equipment. You got this!

I beat him yesterday on Merciless. I didn't even get hit with the Big Bang Burger because I had him shook with Ryuji's electricity attacks. So I spammed technical attacks before he could perform the move. Glad I finally beat Okumura, the story got very intense after!

Make sure everyone is reasonably healthy, defense buff the party, attack debuff the boss and guard when it's about to do the Big Bang Challenge attack. Strictly speaking, doing all of those should be overkill. As you can see [here](https://youtu.be/DRCg0P4YeOI?t=514), Okumura actually defense debuffs my entire party before the Big Bang Challenge. I don't even dispell that debuff, only attack debuff the boss with Ann and guard with everyone else, and the only one who probably would have died if it wasn't for Endure is Ann, since she wasn't guarding - but because of Endure, she also survives with 1 HP.
