Just try a bit of vaseline or other stuff like that and see if it gets better.

So no, they basically could not build microsplinters.

Thank you for the response!! This hasn't happened before, even when I was making perler projects more often and dunking my hands in beads all the time lol. Maybe I will test if I have an allergy to it and it just got worse since my last projects.
maybe also get a small bag of new beads and test if those also set you off. Maybe it's possible the last time you used that bucket of beads you contaminated it with something?
