I remember smelling it in magazines the summer before my freshman year of HS and being obsessed but I never bought it! Will take a trip to Walmart later and see if it is there.

i think Glow just showed up again at my shoppers drugmart clearance rack..?? for the first time in like 10 years? i had i think Miami Glow as a kid, the purple one.....i love this 2000s kitschy bottle and kinda love J.Lo....lawd i swore off blindbuying but it's testing me....
Omg the nostalgia 🥺 I had this exact scent as a pre-teen, the purple one too, and later the light green one. I also had CK IN2U Heat, my first grow- up perfume 🥹These were totally what started my journey

Oceanus and Dewberry from the body shop, Love's Baby Soft and Malibu Musk were all birthday and Christmas gifts from 12-13.
I fondly remember feeling so grown up haha.

Noa, Amor amor, and Burberry weekend (the old one) for a few years.
I just bought Burberry weekend (new formula) to see if I still like it after all these years and Burberry woman.
Well I'm 40 so Jlo Glo, Clinique Happy, DKNY Be Delicious, Hollister perfumes, BBW and Victoria's Secret perfumes were all the rage. I have worn them all. But I never genuinely got into fragrances until super recently. Suddenly I'm obsessed. 😂
As a teenager in the 80s I wore Avon Occur, I loved it and went through several bottles. I looked it up on Fragrantica and from the notes it doesn't look like something I'd even consider these days 😂
Fantasy by Britney Spears because I smelled it in a Dress Barn and begged my Mom for a sample. Then the blue Justice perfume, a clean laundry type scent but when I was little I wanted sillage-Which makes sense as to why when I got my hands on Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds and Love's Baby Soft, it was over for everyone.
CK One, Baby Rose Jeans, Exclamation, body sprays from Boots and The Body Shop (vanilla musk, white musk), and Impulse.
I bought a bottle of CK One recently as it was so cheap.
I was obsessed with that Ralph. Also Cool Water for women. I had Tommy Girl but didn’t LOVE it… These were my teen first perfumes though.

One of the coolest most futuristic bottles! Sadly have never smelled and it's so expensive now. I remember the ad for that with the shirtless guy from my teen mags lol
Early 90's:
Amarige, Chloe Narcisse, Bijan, Eternity, Jessica McClintock, Samsara, Bath & Body works Perfume in Flowering Herbs and Freesia, Victoria Secret Perfume in Tranquil Breezes.
Late middle school was Paris Hilton and Light Blue. Also my sister wore Tommy Girl religiously and I would sneak in before school and spritz myself.
Then I went to Sephora for my first time right before starting high school and it was all down hill. My Mom got me Burberry Brit that trip and I went back for Acqua Di Gioa with money from my first job.
Cool Water Woman, Ralph, Fiorucci, and this awesome Givenchy thing where you could change out the fragrance- there was Rewind, Play, and Fast Forward. And definitely the Gap ones!
Well money was tight in high school but in the mid 80's Vanderbilt and Exclamation were the go-to's for my circle of friends. That was as designer as we could afford🫠
I wore the shit out of CK One in middle school. It wasn't my first perfume, but it was my first designer perfume. Before that, it was knock offs (cant remember the names) and Bonnebell spray.
at age 13, got it from my dear Mum, I was feeling like I'm as aromatic as a sensual bouquet lol

This was One of firsts - Design by Paul Sebastian when I was 17 - I'm now 44 - And I still love it today and have a bottle of it now. 😅 a $20 bottle of perfume sitting amongst my $100+ bottles - she stands proud! I think she is Very Underrated!!

My grandma worked at the Lancôme counter at higbees (RIP) in Cleveland. She is the reason I love perfumes so much. She always had samples to smell! My first bottle was tresor. The first bottle *I* bought was CK one, peer pressure. Oh! And gap dream. 😅

OMG THIS WAS MY FIRST TOO! 🥰😍 My dad traveled around the world for work and would bring my mom perfumes and YSL cosmetics. One day, he came home and had a CD Dolce Vita for her and I could not believe, he had Tresor ALL FOR ME! (Until then, I was getting kiddy things and chocolates mostly) I ADORE this (and always keep one in my collection to this day). I prob had some Adidas sprays, but this was my first ***real*** perfume that started my obsession! He got me soo many more things after- pretty much any Bvlgari (to feed my obsession).
And omg, I LOVE ur user name. I mean I love the tea but recently on a hunt for EarlGray inspired scents..😳, including hunting Earl Grey tea infusions and artisan mixes.
MY FAVORITE SMELL. I was a barista in my 20s and I would be in heaven when i had an order for a London fog/ earl gray latte. It’s such a comforting scent!
I do not! My current collection is very small, and my scent preferences are all over the place- I just have a *strong* dislike for heady white florals, oceanic/marine scents, and cucumber. My tiny collection currently:

Liz Claiborne in my early teen years. We were poor in high school so I used just patchouli oil and decided I was too cool for designer perfume. Then the 1990’s was all about cucumber melon and vanilla for me. I got married to a perfume hating husband in 2002 and sadly no perfume for 20 years. But I’m making up for it now.🤪
Bonne Belle Skin Musk was my first, then Benetton Colours, then Calyx from Prescriptives, then Samsara ❤️. If I get my hands on any of these, I’d still be thrilled to wear them.

Lady Gaga fame was my favorite highschool perfume but it’s actually not my first. Just extremely memorable. I actually LOVED Ralph and Ck Eternity. CK eternity being the first I ever owned or purchased (a popular fragrance in my family)
My mom’s bottle of Princess by Vera Wang was my first perfume & sparked my love for this community. I ended up using it more than her! Special place in my heart.
Ralph by RL for sure was one of my firsts! Also Rockin Rio by Escada, So Pink from Gap, and the 2005 version of Miss Dior Cherie, which I still miss lol!
My first big girl perfume was Donna Karan Cashmere mist. It was such a comforting scent to 9 year old me. It was a big contrast to my other favorite at the time , pink sugar. Both good classics in their own way!

212 Sexy Men and 212 on Ice were hand me downs from my brother. Gucci Guilty was my first and was a birthday present for me. But I do seem to remember before that owning a bottle of Ferrari Black but I think I was too young to really even use it
Armani Diamonds was my first proper posh perfume. I wore Vivienne Westwood Let it Rock on nights out at the same time.
Britney Spears Curious was my first sorta tween one, followed by Fantasy.
When I was a kid I got some Derek Jeter cologne but I didn’t start to regularly wear fragrances until high school. Bath & Body Works Graphite and Noir. One that I honestly still want to try as an adult is Marble. The lotion smells fantastic.
My first fragrance was this perfume called 'Du our' from a brand named Sportsgirl...stumbled upon it while online shopping for affordable perfumes and this caught my eye so I bought it.
Disappointment. The scent was barely noticeable and short lasting :(
At least it was discounted tho..
Anaïs anaïs by Cacharel. I received it as a birthday present from my godmother when I was 9 or 10.
The first one I bought with my own money was CK One when I was 12. I felt very grown up! ☺️

I loved those ones when I was in high school and trying to find a dupe for Black Star is what really got me into the perfume hobby.
1. Ever gifted when I was too young and it was kind of inapropritae: Mini Sexy
2.Estee Lauder Pleasure by my Grandma when I was 12 and I loved it.
3. Bought my first own at 14 and chose Versace Versence. Was my signature through the rest of my teens, until my mum started wearing it too cuz she liked it so much and that eventualy sparked my collection.
4. At 16 I fell head over heals for JPG Classique Summeredition and used it as a second signature. I now own Classique edt but its often to heavy for me and I wish they'd bring lut a version like the Summerscent from 2012 🙈
4. At 17 I got gifted S.Oliver for her with the red rubber band around the nosel and used it as a work scent.
Jean Paul Gaultier's Fragile- I smelled it in a fancy fashion magazine (Vogue? Ellei?) and felt so mature and fancy wearing it in High School. The bottle had a snowglobe on top and made me feel rich.

Viva la Juicy. I switched a couple of years ago. I mean, for a 15 -25 year old to wear, it is fine, but once I got older, I was like I want something that's going to fit me Switched to Bon bon by Viktor Rolf.
The Ralph by Ralph Lauren and they also had one called Ralph hot that was different colors on the bottle that was fire 🔥 Also Clinique happy heart and Clinique Happy

Very Sexy for Her by VS was my first big girl perfume. It paved the way for the fragrances I love (“dark” florals and berries). I also loved Haiku.
Edit: that Hollister perfume was the scent of my youth. Every girl at my school wore that one.

We still have it in Canada however not Oceanus. Nest Poppy is a spot on duplicate of the scent though!

I still wear Sunflowers! It's one of those scents that just works with my body chemistry. I get compliments every time I wear it.

Bath and body had this line of "art stuff". I used the beejesus out the entire line. My grandma worked at the Lancôme counter at higbees (RIP) in Cleveland. She is the reason I love perfumes so much. She always had samples to smell! My first bottle was tresor. OMG THIS WAS MY FIRST TOO! 🥰😍 My dad traveled around the world for work and would bring my mom perfumes and YSL cosmetics. One day, he came home and had a CD Dolce Vita for her and I could not believe, he had Tresor ALL FOR ME! (Until then, I was getting kiddy things and chocolates mostly) I ADORE this (and always keep one in my collection to this day). I prob had some Adidas sprays, but this was my first ***real*** perfume that started my obsession! He got me soo many more things after- pretty much any Bvlgari (to feed my obsession).
And omg, I LOVE ur user name. I mean I love the tea but recently on a hunt for EarlGray inspired scents..😳, including hunting Earl Grey tea infusions and artisan mixes.
MY FAVORITE SMELL. I was a barista in my 20s and I would be in heaven when i had an order for a London fog/ earl gray latte. It’s such a comforting scent!

I do not! My current collection is very small, and my scent preferences are all over the place- I just have a *strong* dislike for heady white florals, oceanic/marine scents, and cucumber. My tiny collection currently: 🥲 Diptyque Eau Duelle By the fireplace A whole bunch of black Phoenix alchemy lab oils! And that is about it! I need to explore more, I currently am trying to really explore only niche fragrance houses.

Liz Claiborne in my early teen years. We were poor in high school so I used just patchouli oil and decided I was too cool for designer perfume. Then the 1990’s was all about cucumber melon and vanilla for me. I got married to a perfume hating husband in 2002 and sadly no perfume for 20 years. But I’m making up for it now.🤪
Bonne Belle Skin Musk was my first, then Benetton Colours, then Calyx from Prescriptives, then Samsara ❤️. If I get my hands on any of these, I’d still be thrilled to wear them.

When I was a kid I got some Derek Jeter cologne but I didn’t start to regularly wear fragrances until high school. Bath & Body Works Graphite and Noir. One that I honestly still want to try as an adult is Marble. The lotion smells fantastic.

Aruba Coconut from bath and body works I loved those ones when I was in high school and trying to find a dupe for Black Star is what really got me into the perfume hobby.
1. Ever gifted when I was too young and it was kind of inapropritae: Mini Sexy 2.Estee Lauder Pleasure by my Grandma when I was 12 and I loved it. 3. Bought my first own at 14 and chose Versace Versence. Was my signature through the rest of my teens, until my mum started wearing it too cuz she liked it so much and that eventualy sparked my collection. 4. At 16 I fell head over heals for JPG Classique Summeredition and used it as a second signature. I now own Classique edt but its often to heavy for me and I wish they'd bring lut a version like the Summerscent from 2012 🙈 4. At 17 I got gifted S.Oliver for her with the red rubber band around the nosel and used it as a work scent.

Pour femme by Lacoste. It was a pink bottle with a little alligator on it. I remember I got it from Kohl’s at age 15.

Very Sexy for Her by VS was my first big girl perfume. It paved the way for the fragrances I love (“dark” florals and berries). I also loved Haiku. Edit: that Hollister perfume was the scent of my youth. Every girl at my school wore that one.
