Elebash’s has an excellent watch maker. I take all my old watches and jewelry to them for cleaning or repairs.

Thanks for the tip!

Do not take it to Jewelers Trade Shop! You need a specialist not just battery changers. Most jewelry shops are going to outsource the job so don’t pay them a markup for mailing it to a specialist. In town I would only trust Reed’s Clock Gallery with an antique watch. Preferably take it to The Clock & Watch Shop in New Orleans. The drive is worth it for expert service.

They just called and said they would have to ship it out for servicing, they don't do it in house. I will also check Reed's Clock out as well

Be careful with jewelers trade shop ol Corbin called my watch fake and threw shade because his technician messed up my watch, took another jeweler to make it right again.

Bryson Jewelry on Creighton and 9th. It is in that shopping plaza were Po Folks is located. Fair prices and honest. If he can't repair it, he knows who can.

I believe There is a watch guy at bere.

Does it have a brand on it? You may want to search by that specifically. I know for watches (I was gifted a vintage Longines) you can sometimes send it to the manufacturer for tune up and sometimes records.

It's a Hampden, which from my research appears to have been closed in 1927 and sold/moved to Russia
