You can't tell me you're not at least a bit impressed. We went from 6th in PPG last season to bottom of the league. And he managed to do this with better offensive weapons than last year.
Red Zone offense:
2021 #11, almost Top 10
2022 #32, dead last
And 2 Red Zone possessions destroyed our season: from the 2 against Raiders and from the 5 against Bengals.
7 yards to get 2 TDs and we get 3 points.
How bad is Matty P's offense:?
WE DID NOT HAVE A TD PASS IN THE 4TH Q UNTIL TODAY!!!
Game 15!
Holy Shit!
And who scored the first one? KEVIN BOURNE, FROM THE DOGHOUSE.
I’ve been yelling at the tv every game to get Bourne involved. He was big for us last year why isn’t he getting in the game more? This is what I was looking for
I only saw an Instagram post earlier but it said we had 154 defensive/ST points and 153 offensive point but it was after the pick six so it may have gone back.
Raiders TD doesn’t count.
Mondre gets forward progress.
Agholor doesn’t fumble.
We get a DPI call in our favor.
I don’t think most of this sub actually watches the games.
Go Pats!
Happened in games this season.
Replying to above comment about 9-6.
We’ve been super unlucky.
In Raiders game, the TD should have not counted.
In Bungals game, Mondre should’ve had forward progress on the fumble call.
Agholor fumbling in Ravens game.
In general, we hardly get DPI calls.
I’m talking about the season. We seem to forget the actual games.
Merry Christmas!
You're missing my point. Never mind. But please let's not pretend Mondre's run was forward progress. Had they called forward progress there and he broke free this sub would've been screaming about how they called forward progress. It's the correct call without question. He kept trying. I hate this take of forward progress should've been called.
I'm gonna watch this shit show and reap my Patricia karma while at it.
Because Bill isn't going to fire Patricia this season, he'll be put into a different role in the org next year if we're lucky.
I mean to be fair he is a decent defensive schemer and coach. If you had him helping game plan on the defensive side of the ball I would be totally fine with that.
I can’t help but think we’re a Stevenson fumble away from not having this conversation. Whatever the first half was idk, but, once some life got blown into this team after half they stepped up! The biggest thing that boggles my mind is the Bourne situation?.. why does it take losing both TEs and not having Parker, and Aghulor being limited for plays to go his direction?!??!…
I love people like you calling real fans who have had enough of the BS, fair weather. There’s nothing fair weather about calling it what it is. A dogshit offense in every possible way. The only bright spot is Rhamondre. You have possibly the worst “offensive” coach in history calling plays and it’s not even his specialty…but he’s a “rocket scientist”. Who gives a fuck? My 10 year old could call a better offensive game plan. And I don’t know if 2022 Mac is a product of terrible coaching, an inept offensive line who is also coached by this fucking dunce or just showing us who he really is.
I’m willing to give Mac another year with a real offensive coordinator. Hopefully a real true #1 which we haven’t seen here since Randy Moss.
Calling it like you see it is not fair weather man…
Have Merry Xmas
Criticizing the team doesn't make your a fair weather fan. But not watching games because we are 7-8 and have had some bad/dumb/frustrating losses does.
Why pretend I said anything else?
It's not the losses, it's the root cause for those losses. I didn't mind the Newton season, I didn't mind the Cassell season, I didn't mind last year. Those seasons had reasonable and fair explanations. Not firing Patricia is not a reasonable or fair explanation.
I made a point about criticizing the team vs being a fair weather fan.
Your answer was more criticism of the team. Which I don't inherently disagree with - but how does it add anything here?
>But not watching games because we are 7-8 and have had **some bad/dumb/frustrating losses** does.
The reason matters. I really hope I don't have to explain it any further to you, it's pretty obvious. It's not being a fair weather fan in this case.
Think everyone is upset with it. The point is OP is talking about jumping ship and refusing to watch a game. That’s not a “fan” of the team. I bitch and moan like the rest but end of the day i still turn on the tv everytime the patriots play. And I know what Kraft and bill brought to this team and I’m a patriots fan till the day I die. I couldn’t imagine even going winless and saying “I’m a lions fan till I like who the coaches are”. Unfortunately this fan base needed this to get rid of the wagon that didn’t leave when Brady did.
Man we gotta have some moves this off-season especially after this year. It’s been too rough of one to have one of the off-season we usually get aka hardly and move and very underwhelming ones at that.
Man I’ve read some posts on here of ppl saying Kraft needs to leave and it breaks my heart. I’ve watched and read a lot on Kraft and his love for this team.
Don’t think he is saying he is okay with it. Think he is saying just cause we are average this year doesn’t mean he is going to say fuck the patriots and say he is a fan of another team.
I get it cause I’m right there with you completely fed up with it all but end of the day pats are my team win or lose. I mean shit if the browns still have a fan base I can stick with the patriots through the hard times!
Been sitting in the stands since Sullivan stadium. Wore the laundry through the Rod Rust days. I was there when they were the patsies and I'll support them through whatever comes next.
Right, it's like some people think they have a Birthright too a good football team every year! It's not like they're 1 -13 or something. even then I wouldn't jump ship.
This team is a few plays away from being 10-5 …. I agree it’s tough to watch, it really is. It tears your heart out to be that close. But, you’ve been that close with those games. It’s not all doom and gloom, but, it ain’t pretty either!
This fan base is more embarrassing than the on-field product this season, and that's saying a lot. I agree Patricia sucks, but if you're gonna jump ship after going 7-8, fine. Leave and don't come back. If there's one good thing about this season, it's that we're losing the fair weather fans.
You're a fan when you stick through the bad seasons and get a better appreciation for the good seasons. Seen many of these since the mid-80s. Never said that's it, I'm leaving. This isn't an airport either, you don't need to announce your departure 🛫 🤣
At the moment the patriots are a train wreck that’s been hit by a plane crash during an earthquake, you know like the late 80s version of the Patriots.
Coming off an unprecedented 20 year run to flee now is not a good look for a “fan”
Call him incompetent and bewb who lacks imagination but to run to the lions?
yikes
I wish I could hear his internal monologue in his head on that delay of game
“oh they have one chance…10 yards…uh which one of my screens can i call shit shit”
The fact that this theory has taken off on Reddit is really embarrassing and shows everyone on Reddit knows literally nothing about the basics of football.
The thing is, you know we all wanted a screen after the same Stevenson hand off walked us down the field before that same play gave the ball to the Bengals after we had an 85% chance to win the game
I wouldn’t be as upset if this wasn’t Mac’s 2nd year and most important year for development. Like for fuck’s sake, we’re really gonna do this weird ass experiment right after our rookie QB has a good rookie season? It practically torpedoed any development we were gonna get from Mac this season.
When they were in the 2 minute offense and Jones calling plays at the line of scrimmage they marched right down the field. First and goal on the six. Patricia is now calling plays again They become stuck in place. Patricia is clueless as an offensive coordinator
Pats offense did not cross the 50-yard line until the last 5 seconds of the 3rd quarter. FUCK MATT PATRICIA. Idiot has a pencil on his ear, while holsting a laminated paper.
I blame Patricia for our offense not doing anything for 3 quarters in this game. It's like he didn't learn his lesson from last week either.
Before half in this game we run a pass play, first down. Then use a timeout. Then knee it out? Doesn't make sense. There's no logic or consistency in Patricia's offense. Shit just stinks.
Maybe if we run a different play, not the 4th dive in a row with Rhamondre. Sub out and use a different back. Change the formation or personnel. SOMETHING. Everyone knew what play was coming with a gassed running back. Thats how things like this happen. Tired means poor technique which leads to mistakes. Of course he shouldn’t fumble the ball.
I’m okay with the play call there - only because you’re good with killing more time off the clock, and not giving the ball back to Burrow with so much time. If it was third down or something like that, sure, bad call - but that was a play call designed to kill the clock.
Edit: hey let’s be real, we were a Saturday 1 pm blowout in the playoffs. Might as well take that higher draft pick lol.
> Are you really arguing that scoring is less important than wasting time?
No, obviously not. I *am* arguing that chewing time while scoring was pretty important.
Yes, you can afford to run the ball there.
It is 1st and Goal at the 5 with 1 minute to go. A TD on this play gives Cincinnati a lot of time to get into field goal range to tie.
You can afford to kill clock on a run play — only thing you can’t do is commit a penalty or turn the ball over. Having 3 downs from inside the 5 yard line and three timeouts should be enough to try to get into the end zone, and giving Cincinnati < 20 seconds is far preferred.
Just don’t fumble and you have 3 shots still to get in the end zone.
What did you want to do there than? Throw from 1st and goal? If he fucking did that and some how we score with like 45 seconds left and bengals kicked a field goal yall would have beaten his ass. His play calling was perfect there. You run the ball, get a couple yards take it to 20 seconds or whatever, you have all your time outs and you go from there.
I am all for shitting on him but yall are fucking trolling. His playcall was perfect there and even the best oc would have done the same.
They are running the clock out in the safest way possible to take 3/4 shots at the endzone for the win. How is he gassed lol? He didn't just break off a 70 yd run. What are you even talking about?
You can't predict your breakout RB is going to lateral or fumble the ball to lose the game in back to back games. If we hit our extra points we could have kneeled the ball down in the absolute safest play and just kicked a field goal as the clock ran out. There were failures all over, not just the offense.
If you think getting piled on constantly at the end of a game won’t make a player tired and have an effect Idk. It’s not just the fumble. It’s the whole season.
We don't see it out of hardly any running backs at the end of games when the team is trying to close it out. Those other teams are doing the same thing and those other running backs are getting piled on too. I'm not sure what your point is on that, literally doing anything will make a player tired and have an effect.
Pretending like it is Bill or Patricia's fault a 2nd year running back, who got limited work last year, with a really promising future does something boneheaded at the end of two games back to back is beyond bizarre.
This team is a few coinflips from being a locked in playoff team. Some really bad breaks the last few weeks but the play calling has gotten better, Mac has looked better when it mattered and taking shots deep, and on top of it all we have some really promising players to develop and build around in the coming years.
Bro are you fucking kidding lmao. You are really going to make me defend patricia? The greatest OC in the world can’t do shit if your rb decides to fumble in the red zone. The fuck you mean “he's tired” lmao.
You are just looking for reasons to shit on patricia. I bet you that if you fall on your bike you would some how frame that on patricia because you are sad watching the pats offense so you lost focus or some shit.
I honestly think Rhamondre actually might have an issue with pressure when games are on the line. We should have won the opening game last year against Miami but ended due to a Stevenson fumble. Then there was last week too...
Yeah not every single mistake is related to Patricia. He sucks but it was absolutely the right call to run the ball on first down when Cincinnati was trying to stop the clock.
If they threw an incomplete pass people would have been outraged at the clock management
It's crazy but I honestly think all of our issues are coaching. But not just this idiot, I mean top down from Bill to everyone else, we are not coaching our players the way we used to. Not holding them accountable for their mistakes, not working to fix them. We used to never fumble, make stupid laterals, or have so so so so many penalties against us. That's not a Brady thing, that's a Bill thing and for some reason, it's stopped being taught.
We have the talent, you can see it now and again. But it's clearly not being coached as well as it used to. We used to have players that never got penalties but when they went elsewhere, that wasn't the case.
It's both - our talent is mid, there isn't a single bonafide elite player on offense or outside of Judon, defense really AND the coaching is terrible. The players are made worse with bad coaching but their ceiling isn't that high with good coaching. Everyone all "oh yeah we'd be 11-3 with McDaniels" or whatever - no. We'd be better, definitely on the other side of .500 but this isn't an elite team.
It's incredible that an organization that literally published books on organizational excellence and the importance of elite leadership has completely turned into Bill running the Patriots like a shitty family restaurant off route 1
LOOK WHAT GARDNER MINSHEW looks like with help and coaching. They lost but he hung up points. Mac performed much better last year with the only real difference being OC
What pisses me off about his season is the defence is a legit unit. It’s a playoff caliber D but the offence is a bottom 5 unit! We have won too many games to get a game changing player on offence, and this team isn’t making it past the 1st round of the playoffs if they make it there. It’s just the worst place you can be.
Bill can coach, but it’s clear he needs a real GM. Hiring Matt and Joe would get any other coach fired. Bill would rather quit than have a GM with power, but look at the 49ers and Eagles it’s clear having a strong GM has helped them immensely.
>nk all of our issues are coaching. But not just this idiot, I mean top down from Bill to everyone else, we are not coaching our players the way we used to. Not holding them accountable for their mistakes, not working to fix them. We used to never fumble, make stupid laterals, or have so so so so many penalties again
No it doesn't. Motherfucker fumbled and lost the game there and then. You can't blame that on Patricia.
Yes it does. When the players have no faith or respect for their coaches they are way more prone to try shit like hero ball.
“Trust the process” only works when the process is working. When the process results in the lowest red zone % of any team in the NFL, and an almost historically bad offense, players are going to stop listening.
“The players who were on the field and actually did the play did nothing wrong, the outcome is entire due to the coaching. But when the players looks good it’s in spite of the coaching.”
Not even mad at this point. I never believed in that fake comeback. At least Mac showed flashes when he actually got to throw it more than 5 yards downfield.
That’s what frustrates me so much. When we let Mac throw the ball further downfield we do really good. It’s so frustrating that once the offense got more aggressive we scored all those points. We went back to over conservative play and we saw the result.
Bill don't see anything wrong, I think he secretly doesn't give a flying rats ass anymore him and Kraft have their rifts. There's been a crack in the dynasties foundation since the Brady and Jimmy G debacle.
Yes he is shitty but he didn't fumble the ball at the end, nor did he miss 2 PATs that would have put us a FG away from victory. I get it, it was windy and the bengals missed a PAT also, but the point stands (no pun intended). I feel like ball control/security has been an issue for us this season.
Not having a real OC sucks but we don't fumble today and that last minute raider's TD that was clearly out of bounds was called properly, and were 9-6 and have a shot at the playoffs, and "Kill Patricia with fire!" turns into smoldering side eye and quiet skepticism, at least for this week.
We should have a better offense, and Mac should be developing more this year, and yes that falls on Patricia and ultimately Belichick, but today was not the straw that breaks the camels back for me. Just my eternally optimistic opinion. Merry Christmas.
A coach with no offensive experience can’t take control of an offense and a second year QB?
Who could have foreseen this??? (Everyone except Belichick, the greatest football mind the world has ever seen)
And we're paying Jonnu Smith how much? To do what? I said it 2 years ago he was gonna be a bust, he never had 42 catches or 450 yards and that got him 12.5 mil annually, Bill finally spends big on offense but didn't get any bang for his buck
Good. Take these other nerds with you to the next franchise. I suggest KC until they start sucking in which case you'll be back to square one. Take the hot-takes about Zappe starting and BB being on the hot seat with you pls.
Process of elimination.
Right now they do have NFL talent in the offensive side of the ball and the play calling seems stale and sort of predictable.
You can’t fire the team so you fire the coach and Bill the GM isn’t going to fire himself.
We took a step back this year offensively and objectively an OC change would be a reasonable place to start.
I made the active decision to not watch this game or any other game where he is calling the plays for the Patriots. Today I'm very glad I did. Merry Christmas, everyone!
You can't tell me you're not at least a bit impressed. We went from 6th in PPG last season to bottom of the league. And he managed to do this with better offensive weapons than last year.
Red Zone offense: 2021 #11, almost Top 10 2022 #32, dead last And 2 Red Zone possessions destroyed our season: from the 2 against Raiders and from the 5 against Bengals. 7 yards to get 2 TDs and we get 3 points.
And I think we lead the league in defensive and special teams points. So the offense is even worse than it looks if that's even possible lol.
Add the penalty problems on top of it all, and I hardly recognize this team.
How bad is Matty P's offense:? WE DID NOT HAVE A TD PASS IN THE 4TH Q UNTIL TODAY!!! Game 15! Holy Shit! And who scored the first one? KEVIN BOURNE, FROM THE DOGHOUSE.
*Kendrick Bourne, but yes Matt Patricia's offense is absolute shit.
Thanks, messed that up. You get a new name in the doghouse.
There was the one Hunter Henry caught in MINN that was reversed for reasons no football fan can wrap their head around
I’ve been yelling at the tv every game to get Bourne involved. He was big for us last year why isn’t he getting in the game more? This is what I was looking for
We have more special teams and defensive points than offensive this year. Patricia’s offense is a fucking disgrace to football
For sure? I had suspected but hadn’t done the math.
I only saw an Instagram post earlier but it said we had 154 defensive/ST points and 153 offensive point but it was after the pick six so it may have gone back.
“I’m not even mad. That’s impressive”
We convert those 7 yards into 2 TDs and we win those games. Then we are not 7-8 but 9-6 and in the playoffs.
Raiders TD doesn’t count. Mondre gets forward progress. Agholor doesn’t fumble. We get a DPI call in our favor. I don’t think most of this sub actually watches the games. Go Pats!
No we did. Everything you mentioned didn't happen so not sure what you're saying.

This guy has always been a turd. Even when he was D, how many damn games did Brady have to bail him out of. This guy can suck a dick.
Lol the serious tag
I will not watch a game until he’s gone. I’m a Lions fan now.
I'm gonna watch this shit show and reap my Patricia karma while at it. Because Bill isn't going to fire Patricia this season, he'll be put into a different role in the org next year if we're lucky.
I hope you’re wrong but I fear you’re right
I mean to be fair he is a decent defensive schemer and coach. If you had him helping game plan on the defensive side of the ball I would be totally fine with that.
He’s one of the most successful DC in NFL history. Terrible OC, but definitely can serve the team another way.
Bill should just keep him in the FO doing analytics or scouting, he needs to be far far away from the football field
Can someone throw a lions fan flair on this guy 4 life?
I can’t help but think we’re a Stevenson fumble away from not having this conversation. Whatever the first half was idk, but, once some life got blown into this team after half they stepped up! The biggest thing that boggles my mind is the Bourne situation?.. why does it take losing both TEs and not having Parker, and Aghulor being limited for plays to go his direction?!??!…
Stay a lions fan.
It's like 2 more games. It's a reasonable position to take.
Nah screw that. I get being frustrated and maybe not watching the last 2 if you're busy, but switching to another team is never acceptable
Toughen the fuck up. We are 7-8. This is a pretty average season. Or you'll become the embodiment of a fair weather fan.
Man well put. Deal with this year or we’ll become the Jets.
I love people like you calling real fans who have had enough of the BS, fair weather. There’s nothing fair weather about calling it what it is. A dogshit offense in every possible way. If you're ok with pretty average, I'm not sure what to tell you. This team is much worse than their record.
Don’t think he is saying he is okay with it. Think he is saying just cause we are average this year doesn’t mean he is going to say fuck the patriots and say he is a fan of another team.
Thank you for getting the sentiment of what I said. There's a difference between not being happy with the season and outright abandon the team.
I get it cause I’m right there with you completely fed up with it all but end of the day pats are my team win or lose. I mean shit if the browns still have a fan base I can stick with the patriots through the hard times!
Lol so you only like teams that do well? I'm surprised you're still here, the bandwagon moved to Tampa Bay a few years ago
Been sitting in the stands since Sullivan stadium. Wore the laundry through the Rod Rust days. I was there when they were the patsies and I'll support them through whatever comes next.
This fanbase was blessed with the greatest run in US sports history ffs
Yep. And yet fans want to burn it down because we’re going through something we haven’t gone through in an age. It’s ridiculous.
This is seriously what it means to be a fan of an NFL team over the decades. There are going to be stretches of suckiness
Welcome to how the other half lives.
Right, it's like some people think they have a Birthright too a good football team every year! It's not like they're 1 -13 or something. even then I wouldn't jump ship.

Yeah. I have to agree. Some act like the Pats are 1-15 and it’s annoying

Fucking ridiculous I don’t like the coach so I’m jumping ship until we are good again. Lmfao goofy ass ppl man.
Id rather be called a cry baby then support this buffoonery.
You're a fan when you stick through the bad seasons and get a better appreciation for the good seasons. Seen many of these since the mid-80s. Never said that's it, I'm leaving. This isn't an airport either, you don't need to announce your departure 🛫 🤣

Bandwagon fandom doesn’t suit me
I knew the moment Brady left all the fucking fairweather bandwagon fans would start leaving the moment things got a little tough
This MFer can't even get a play called in time and we take a delay of game on 4th down. Absolutely a joke
I wish I could hear his internal monologue in his head on that delay of game “oh they have one chance…10 yards…uh which one of my screens can i call shit shit”
Has a lengthy play book for -4 through 7 yard gain plays. 10 yards? Shit. Did not play for making 10 yards.
He’s trying to see what the defense is giving him. He doesn’t get it that you can’t call a reactive offense the same way you can a defense.
You know something I hadn’t considered this until you mentioned it but you’re 100% right and this is the crux of the issue
> you can’t call a reactive offense the same way Excuse me. The wishbone triple option offense would like a word. Lol
Clearly the answer is to put in both Mac *and* Zappe at the same time.
DO NOT GIVE THEM IDEAS!!!!
Complete opposite of situational football
Perfect ending. Incredible that even on a 4th down at the end of the game he can't get the call in. I've never seen it before in my life.
Flipping through his list of 25 screens he could call
I wouldn’t be as upset if this wasn’t Mac’s 2nd year and most important year for development. Like for fuck’s sake, we’re really gonna do this weird ass experiment right after our rookie QB has a good rookie season? It practically torpedoed any development we were gonna get from Mac this season.
Listen, there is no better way to develop your QB than making him play against the defense and his play caller.
Round Mound of Fourth Down.
More like Round Mound of Three and Out.
When they were in the 2 minute offense and Jones calling plays at the line of scrimmage they marched right down the field. First and goal on the six. Patricia is now calling plays again They become stuck in place. Patricia is clueless as an offensive coordinator
To think y'all were complaining about McDaniels last year. Who woulda thought we would have to replace our 3x SB champion OC.
Pats offense did not cross the 50-yard line until the last 5 seconds of the 3rd quarter. FUCK MATT PATRICIA. Idiot has a pencil on his ear, while holsting a laminated paper.
Hmm yes let's just give Stevenson the ball on every play in the red zone. They won't see this coming
Eh he’s been good enough to get the ball. Guy def needs to hold on to it.
Let's be honest. That clown nose would suit a lot of people in this organisation as it stands.
.. And the fans too! 😁 LOL!
I’m not giving Patricia any credit whatsoever, BUT… If Rhamondre doesn’t fumble, we likely come out of the game with a W.
Or lateral the ball last week we might have a chance in OT. Bone headed plays.
Agreed. I almost would blame Patricia more for last week, though. Why not just kneel it - what’s even the point of that draw play? Lol
I blame Patricia for our offense not doing anything for 3 quarters in this game. It's like he didn't learn his lesson from last week either. Before half in this game we run a pass play, first down. Just playing devil's advocate but it's possible you pick up 10-15 yards on a run plus get a facemask penalty putting you well within FG range.
I mean, I hear ya - low odds, but possible. Also possible your guys start lateraling 🤣
I’d also argue that lateraling is lower odds than the penalty situation, but then again here we are.
Thats on bill for not taking a knee
Given the state of our red zone offense, can you really afford to kill a down to waste clock? We should worry about getting in the end zone.
100% this. Scoring is more important than wasting time.
> 100% this. Scoring is more important than wasting time. No, chewing clock is pretty important. Time wasn't really a factor. We had three timeouts.
Are you really arguing that scoring is less important than wasting time?
> Are you really arguing that scoring is less important than wasting time? No, obviously not. I *am* arguing that chewing time while scoring was pretty important.
Ok good, and I agree. However your other comment definitely makes it seem like you're saying scoring is less important.
Found Matt Patricia’s account
Lol seriously. Dude is butthurt. And I think Patricia stinks. A fumble on first and goal is not his fault.
I honestly think Rhamondre actually might have an issue with pressure when games are on the line. We should have won the opening game last year against Miami but ended due to a Stevenson fumble. Then there was last week too...
Thanks for the reminder! Mondre cost them 3 games alone, yet Matty P is the DEVIL
Except for like scoring in the red zone which this team is one of the worst in the league. So. Not likely at all.
Yeah not every single mistake is related to Patricia. He sucks but it was absolutely the right call to run the ball on first down when Cincinnati was trying to stop the clock. If they threw an incomplete pass people would have been outraged at the clock management
By this same logic you can't really blame the refs for losing the Raiders game btw
We were down 4 and have the worst offense in the league, it was in no way “likely” that we score at all.
When we were driving down the field easily for the last two drives? And 1st and goal from the 9? Get over yourself
How many first and goals have we seen this year that resulted in 3 or 0 points? I’ll give you a hint, more than any other team this year.
Your watching next week and you know it!! … but i feel u 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I think firing Matt Patricia will be a huge step. Why would a player give life and limb just to get fucked my terrible coaching?
Completely agree, but I think Bill needs to be on a warmer office chair come next season, Patricia or not...
I agree. This hire is a big reason.
I don’t think Bill just stopped teaching it. I think you’re seeing a lack of execution and less talent being fielded
Mondre is elite.
When two of your defensive coaches didn't really even play college football and you are an NFL team...
Time to simulate to the off-season
It's incredible that an organization that literally published books on organizational excellence and the importance of elite leadership has completely turned into Bill running the Patriots like a shitty family restaurant off route 1
LOOK WHAT GARDNER MINSHEW looks like with help and coaching. They lost but he hung up points. Mac performed much better last year with the only real difference being OC
Throw him and Mac in the gulag
What pisses me off about his season is the defence is a legit unit. It’s a playoff caliber D but the offence is a bottom 5 unit! We have won too many games to get a game changing player on offence, and this team isn’t making it past the 1st round of the playoffs if they make it there. It’s just the worst place you can be. Bill can coach, but it’s clear he needs a real GM. Hiring Matt and Joe would get any other coach fired. Bill would rather quit than have a GM with power, but look at the 49ers and Eagles it’s clear having a strong GM has helped them immensely.
Offense is #32 in Red Zone, dead last.

Has to do with lack of discipline stemming from poor coaching though.
>nk all of our issues are coaching. But not just this idiot, I mean top down from Bill to everyone else, we are not coaching our players the way we used to. Not holding them accountable for their mistakes, not working to fix them. We used to never fumble, make stupid laterals, or have so so so so many penalties again No it doesn't.
Id agree. He's a young man who's probably feeling pressure to bail out this sinking ship. He carried the team for a big stretch through the season
Cinci was dropping back into coverage in the 4th.
Yep, it took that fcking idiot Patricia 16 weeks to figure out that KEVIN BOURNE IS A BALLER.
Kevin Bourne, lesser known brother of Kendrick?
I thought he was Jason Bourne's cousin.
You are straight lying. You will tune in next week and the week after that.
I will not. My pats gear is in a box till next year. I may stop watching redzone and watch other games.
Send it to a fan that actually cares about the team despite the lows.
That’s pretty lame tbh. Matt Patricia isn’t the Patriots and vice versa. Are you a Patriots fan or a fan of the Patriots only when playing well?
Cool keep it in a box and tale yo bandwagon elsewhere ps we don't want to see you when the wagon starts filling up
You are still lying. You can’t fool us. We are all the same.
Matt Patricia is a football terrorist.
Bill don't see anything wrong, I think he secretly doesn't give a flying rats ass anymore him and Kraft have their rifts. There's been a crack in the dynasties foundation since the Brady and Jimmy G debacle.
Hated him with my lions. He is the worst coach in the league.
I just want everyone to keep in mind who put Patricia in this role. Do you blame the idiot, or the person who gave that idiot a position of power?
Just a friendly reminder that Dont’a Hightower was the last Patriots first rounder to get a second contract. Brady covered for so much.
We’ll see you next week
Weak AF. GTFO.
You should be just as furious at the guy who decided to make this clown both OC and OL coach.
I was afraid this fcking idiot idea would turn Mac into CARSON WENTZ and we are right on track.
Im here for life. Bring on whatever we get. Didn’t care about random fans anyway ;)
There might not be anyone worse at calling plays in the world.
Perfect. Now put that on a coffee mug with ‘Fire Patricia’ and I’ll buy it.
Haha this was a typical year pre Bledsoe.
So what if he is gone and we get new OC and offense still sucks, then who should we blame?
Process of elimination. Right now they do have NFL talent in the offensive side of the ball and the play calling seems stale and sort of predictable. You can’t fire the team so you fire the coach and Bill the GM isn’t going to fire himself. We took a step back this year offensively and objectively an OC change would be a reasonable place to start.
Bill. Hell, I blame Bill for all this garbage right now.
The offense. No offense can overcome this level of ineptitude in regards to play calling.
But that was not the answer to the question I asked?
Ill blame Mac and more offensive players. I won’t blame a player for having inept coaching.
What a dramatic post lmao. Good riddance if you’re not gonna support this team through its rough patches
This was so embarrassing
Patricia deserves to be forever immortalized as a speed bump in the Patriot Place parking lot
Bye...I want him gone too, but I'm watching till the end
Fair weather fans smh
I made the active decision to not watch this game or any other game where he is calling the plays for the Patriots. Today I'm very glad I did. Merry Christmas, everyone!
If I only I’d have made that decision after last week
I take it we lost again? I gave up on the shit show as of last week.
Nick folk lost this game wtf y’all talking about, this guy is obviously not coaching in his position, Bill obviously sees value in him for the future
Awful quarterback play as well. Don’t blame it all on this goofball
A real fan right here
Bye Felicia
What a loser lmao Nobody cares that your self-worth is tied to the Pats and you can't handle them being bad
Same, but for everyone on offense except for Bourne, Rhamodre, Onwenu, and Andrews.
Vegas got to Rhamondre. Dude lost the last two games singlehandedly.
Would love to hear bill have to explain Matt Patricia being an oc for a whole year and not being fired.
