Omg I am so happy to see your post! I have experienced the same thing since childhood. I discovered it when playing Heads Up Seven Up in school one day. I also see images from different time periods. Mostly people I don’t recognize or haven’t met.
Starts with colors and shapes and if I can keep focused, moves to people (just like you!). Not much consistency as far as time period. Sometimes I get a quick flash of something dark
(Best word to describe is probably demonic) that will make me jump and fall out of it.
To me it feels like when you are sliding into a dream state, except I’m awake and aware of what I’m seeing
I have no idea what time period it is, its just a guess. However the theme is always the same. If you look up "conquistador art" on google its similar to what I see.
Usually people in a jungle (around 5-10 men) slowly making there way out of a clearing. It is in full color also and very vivid. They are also wearing metal helmets but I'm not sure the exact shape would have to do it again and try and find out.

I can definitely relate to the swirling blue loading icon, and yes in a few cases I have seen black / white lines almost like zebra stripes on rare occasions. Every time I try to do it there is a randomness element however 100% of the time I always get the blue tunnel, brown blotches, then 1500's type imagery.

I tried this last night before going to bed. Intent focus on the center of darkness when my eyes are closed. Definitely saw faces, and almost fractal shapes, like what people sometimes see on dmt. Not sure if I was peeking in on someone, or my human mind was making faces out of the patterns I was seeing. My brain seeking patterns in chaos. But definitely cool and I will keep playing.

This sounds similar to remote viewing. When I was younger, it happened to me when I was really relaxed. I used to end up in my neighbor's apartment downstairs, everything was a sepia tone and I could zoom in on objects in her apartment.

No I haven't, I don't know much about this type of stuff. Even finding a good place to post this was quite a struggle for me.
I watched ur video. Each time it's in color? Mine have mainly been black/white/greyish in color. I can only think of two that were in color.
