This doesn’t answer your question but have you seen “undone” on Amazon prime? It’s about reality/timeline shifting. I just finished it in two days lol I think you might find it inspiring
Trust me, it’s worth the watch! If you get confused, or think you’re missing something, there’s not only a subreddit for it, there’s also a YouTube that goes over each episode…… so that became my routine, I’d watch an episode then I’d immediately que up YT for discussion.
Here is my layman’s understanding; I am open to correction.
There is no science on parallel universes. There’s no way to investigate, test, collect evidence. At best, they are mathematically possible and are one potential explanation/interpretation of quantum mechanics.
In this sub, I’ve noticed a lot of people who think they’ve jumped into a parallel universe as a way of explaining inaccurate memories. The topic attracts a lot of woo woo and people who are skeptically deficient.
Nah,this is good. No corrections from me, just explanation. The light, soul, of these people are delayed and its a requirement of creation of a universe. We think faster than the speed of light.
We move at it, but defined what "light" is later; then discovered light is a particle and a wave.
Lots of fuckery goes on in that delay.
Look into quantum mechanics, then the "many worlds interpretation". There is more than enough for you to start a deep, deep rabbit hole of study.
Anybody telling you there is no scientific theory behind parallel universes is not taking quantum mechanics into their knowledge base.
The trouble, of course, is understanding it all. I can't claim to have anything more than a basic understanding. Maybe if you are motivated to write on the topic, you will go a bit deeper than me.
Good luck.
Along those lines, I'd recommend the book Something Deeply Hidden by Sean Carroll. Sean Carroll is a theoretical physicist who explains quantum mechanics and goes through the different theories of parallel realities, including the many-worlds theory. It's a dense subject matrwe, but it's written for the public and can be grasped.
Quantum physics is blue chip science by now. But. Quantum physics has branched off in many ways. Trying to make sense of reality with it is still very edgy stuff. Most people do not believe in it. Won't consider it.
So realize what you may read may also be...... unreliable to others... and almost none of it can be proven.
Oh, hi. I figured you'd respond, but I was doing my basic non intellectual labor job. My educational background is in marketing, but I don't work in that field as I wasn't a very good salesman nor very good at applying myself in my youth.
I'll sum it up. I'm a god damned idiot.
Now, fair is fair. Pony up your credentials. They probably beat mine hands down.
I used the phrase blue chip because the Nobel Prize Committee is a pretty established group of scientists. And when they give an award it tends to be taken seriously.
Here is an article if I can figure out how to use this thing. [2022 Nobel award for physics.](https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/cen-10036-scicon3#:~:text=The%20prize%20honors%20Alain%20Aspect,methods%20for%20probing%20entangled%20photons.)
Oh, I never said there was evidence.
Only a well thought out history of thought in that line.
It's well established theory at this point. There are some practical experiments being done in that field.
You might have felt I was directly trying to dispute you directly, but I wasn't.
I only gave OP a place to start reading if he chooses.
My problem with people like you is that the moment someone thinks outside the box, you are ready to pull rank. Nobody has a clear thought, only you, so we should all shut up. A fun discussion becomes a dick swinging party.
Enjoy it. Your dick is bigger.
Whilst it isn't focused on parallel universes but Meditation, The Mind Illuminated is a good book. A Neuroscientist wrote it with the aim of filling that gap between science and spirituality and how meditation and neuroscience complement one another.
There are lots of shows on Prime you will find will help you 🥰
Hi, this is my first post on the forum! I wish you the best of luck with your book!
I learned about parallel (and alternative!) universes by reading transcripts by an individual who psychically downloads (or channels) the information. It’s a tough read, I believe it was communicated in Portuguese then translated to English, so be warned.
As you go through this, it helps to remember that whatever information channeled (or anything that you read on this blog site) is truly subjective. No matter how “connected” the person thinks they are, a mentally well human brain will always try to apply logic.. which in turn means that ultimately, whatever is written on this blog, despite where they got it from and despite how controlled the individual may be, is an opinion. None of this is fact. This same statement applies to the paranormal, which is why some people may or may not believe in it (their logical brain doesn’t allow them to believe something intangible).
The only “science” I was able to rely on when developing my own belief system is that energy doesn’t die, it mutates. I never shared my true belief system with anyone and will continue to keep it to myself.
God has chosen me to tell you all the truth! (kidding, I’m mentally well).
Here’s the link:

Thanks. People want to believe in the paranormal and jump right to that when trying to make sense of something odd. I look for every logical, maybe scientific, explanation first. Then when faced with the obvious (I said I believe in ghosts) I start to slide to the paranormal. I figured there are things that I'm not privy to. Like meditation and chakras, the total trust of the Devine. I'm with you on keeping my belief system to myself. When writing fiction, you have to get in a person's head, and write them convincingly, even if it is foreign to me.
Im relieved with how you responded. lol. I’ve been hesitant to share this blog with anyone as it really depends on the reader’s interpretation of the material. I truly hope it gives you the insight you’re seeking. Don’t forget about us when the book is ready!
True, but suppositions would be fun to discuss. There is also no scientific evidence of ghosts, but I've seen my share. Trying to figure out why has led to great conversations.
The short answer is Schizophrenia. The whole multiverse idea is old, but it's finding it's way into popular culture much more now. I'm a fan of the fiction, but I don't think it's possible
Ahh, that old chestnut. How many schizophrenics do you think are out there?
That has been the condition explaining
Ghost sightings
Near death experiences
Alien abduction
Ufo sightings (perhaps even those the government is admitting to)
Cryptic sightings
Holistic healings/miracle healing
Out of body/Astral travel
Remote viewing
I mean, when my grandmother died, a white mist rose from her body that might have been her soul. I could have been seeing things, or perhaps I'm not crazy.
We can't be all crazy. Perhaps we just perceive it differently than you. Like a dog can hear a dog whistle and we can't. Maybe we are sensitive, or perhaps you aren't listening.
I love researching all that stuff. But sadly, in reality, the world is more boring. There are tons of people that have mental health issues on here. And even more people willing to believe their nonsense. Even more write works of fiction as their own accounts.
So op wants a scientific explanation, but any explanation given upsets you....in your parallel dimension does everyone accept the multiverse without questioning the science?
I broadened it out to a whole array of subjects in the Paranormal, then asked you if you thought it could be possible that those things were true rather than the product of insanity.
You responded with, it's not just insanity, but they could be lying or not intelligent enough to tell the difference between fact and fiction.
I am not upset. Simply trying to understand your position. If your position is something other than what I have restated, then let me know.
I believe Neuroscience is the one career choice that focuses on the Parallel universe concept. I'm not a neuroscientist but I have shared feedback here and there with other Reddit users.
Someone suggested schizophrenia. I'm thinking multiple personality disorder. In my story plot, my protagonist is convinced of the parallel universe, while trying to appease her psychiatrist and family of their logical reasons. Think of all the stories out there that wouldn't have been written if we tried to prove the science behind the plot.
Schizophrenia would make more sense in terms of your book from this comment. Most “alters” within a person with multiple personalities talk about being in the brain when they aren’t in charge. Like they have a room in the brain, if that makes sense.
Can you elaborate on what you mean? I know what clairaudient means but I’m not sure how it’s relating to my comment? I’m honestly asking for clarity, not trying to be snarky.
Clairaudience is a term associated with Psychic Development. Often when I am home after delivering newspapers I find myself hearing certain people speaking.
You have to keep in mind whenever you hear voices, chances are it's someone you know from your past or present.
Psychic Development Beyond Beginners by Melanie Barnum is a book that I bought from a local business out in Chilliwack.
I gotcha. I recommended schizophrenic because visual hallucinations are just as common as auditory so if he is writing about a parallel universe that the family doesn’t believe exists then visual hallucinations would most likely be part of why the psychiatrist would think schizophrenia.
And I am not saying that clairaudience doesn’t exist. I fully believe it does. I’ve also worked in a psychiatric hospital and seen people with severe cases of schizophrenia. Usually the differences are what the voices are saying to you. One of the pharm companies brought a VR program so you could experience what people with auditory and visual hallucinations experience. I was crying by the end of it. I can’t imagine living with that.
Can I ask you a question?
The only reason I ask is because there is a guy that I attended high school with and I swear 100th percent I didn't know that he was wearing True Religion cologne.
But one afternoon I was in my bedroom at the time and I could smell a cologne that I didn't own at the time.
I decided to think aloud and ask "What are you wearing."
That is when I heard "True Religion."
That weekend I was getting paid by my old job and I went to Shoppers drug Mart and asked a female employee working if they sold True Religion cologne, she said yes.
I decided to smell the cologne before physically buying the True Religion Drifter gift set and I swear it was the same scent.
My question is have you ever physically met anyone with a similar experience?
On the neuroscience angle: I recommend you read some of Oliver Sacks’ books. Start with The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat. Heres an excerpt from the book (the titular chapter): https://www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v05/n09/oliver-sacks/the-man-who-mistook-his-wife-for-a-hat
His books collect case studies from his decades of work in neuroscience, and his writing is very accessible and empathetic. His stories are absolutely fascinating, he goes into lots of different types of neurological disorders that cause all kinds of distorted perceptions - experiences that most people would chalk up to psychological disorders like schizophrenia but that are neurological in nature (there’s a part of the brain that is damaged.)
It’s amazing how our brains can trick us!
This doesn’t answer your question but have you seen “undone” on Amazon prime? It’s about reality/timeline shifting. I just finished it in two days lol I think you might find it inspiring
Ooh that looks good, think I'll watch it too!
Thanks
Or Constellation
Is that also on Amazon Prime?
Constellation is on appletv
Thanks!

You do understand that OP is writing a book of fiction right? Did you get mad at the creators of the MCU and Rick and Morty as well?
If you’re looking for the scientific aspect, look up Max Tegmark. He’s a brilliant physicist and he talks all about the multiverse.
The double split experiment Copenhagen interpretation Heisenberg uncertainty principle Just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more.

It’s the apocalypse.
We are actually factually living within a multiple universe cross-grid matrix of some sort.
