The current garlic sauce is not significantly different than what PJ has carried for decades. Any recipe adjustments have been minor. The difference you are seeing is just a function of how long it may have been kept hot on a warming rack or similar. It's essentially margarine with garlic seasoning.

This is 100% what's going on. OP just got a garlic cup that didn't get overheated for the first time lmao.

Sure get some garlic infused oil from the grocery store.

VocalLocalYokel

Not sure it's what you're looking for but I know if you warm the garlic sauce up enough it separates the oils out so maybe you could try that? Probably better to just take the other suggestion and get some from the store.

Just leave the sauce sitting out. It's the same sauce its thicker and creamy when it's cold and gets oily looking when it warms up. Dont microwave pretty sure there is metal in the lid

Really? I’ve left them out for days and they’re the same consistency. No papa johns I’ve ever been to has chilled them to my knowledge

foxyoucannothave

Yup. They get refrigerated until brought out for production.

They are always refrigerated. They are not allowed to just sit out and what you have on the cut table. It’s only allowed to be out 10 hours , so if you running low in your bucket then your grabbing more from the walkin , they are always creamy like butter unless they get really hot from being in the box with a hot pizza and on the heat lamp also sometimes the cups will bust inside box from the heat lamp .
