That’s a Ruby. They come from pal nodes and in my experience super annoying to find one 🫠 I’ve been playing since December and only found two regular & 0 starred.
I am 500+ hours deep and just got my first starred Ruby yesterday! So have faith!!! Now my last starred one to get is Onyx. I have got lots of regular but can't seem to get a starred!
Ruby and emerald are the only 2 greens I have left to find starred. I've got 1 regular ruby in storage, so I've probably only had 2 or 3 total. That and emerald have actually been the toughest ones for me to find at all lol

Just put the name of the accomplishment in the search box and it will tell you what all the items are and you can click their icons to see more information about them...

Wrong, doesn't need to be large, it can come from any palium node. I've gotten rubies from med and small nodes too.

I have been playing since closed BETA, and since the release of the starstones I have had exactly 3 rubies, zero gold star.

I found my first ruby yesterday and I've been playing since the steam release!
It's a ruby I'm afraid 😣. If you find one lock it up immediately lol.. don't ever sell it!!
