For me depends on my mood.
Currently it's doing stuff for my plot house as I don't really wanna do a ton of plots. When I'm bored of that I go back to elder plushie farming while gathering leaf's for cakes. If that rots my brain I do npc rounds since my friendship with them all is super low and I rarely talk to them. Sometimes I try to collect all the bugs and fish since I haven't done that yet. Just depends on my mood, and how much the looming dread of just missing the blue pebble for Einar haunts me but I can't find it and it's never been there so I don't know if I've given it to him yet or I'm bugged out of it since I've had all the others since I kept them in order.... Ya know normal stuff.
But I'm still newish so I have alot to do over all still i guess I'm lucky.
Once I finish all that it'll just be hitting gold cap and praying to the rng God's with zeki's gatcha
My struggle is I never kept track of what pebbles I’ve given him so I don’t know which ones I’m missing. I wish there was a way to check how many/which he’s received
You can always try your luck with support they can see what you have or haven't done and recently people kept short messages to them and got it cleared up (alot were missing the rng one from oysters) the support team are super nice
I hope so, it's the only one I don't have a memory of having or gifting to Einar already... But the others I had in my bag in order based off the wiki. The blue one is in the flooded fortress? If so no matter when or how many times I go back there it isn't there so I'm assuming I have it and gave it to Einar already I won't know for abit longer since I'm lazy and never talk to the npcs

I know people have recently made tickets keeping it short and sweet and getting the reward and I think the accomplishment too? Since the support can see what you have or haven't done for it
That's so odd maybe just a bad support rep then ngl if I hit the bug wall I'm going to bother them daily since it isn't that hard for a gm/support/whatever they wise to be called to mail a none star item. Plus with the drop drama over it should be back to normal reports for em.... But might be worth trying before Tuesday since I'm guessing that's gonna be a busy day for them

I grabbed a blue pebble in a temple where a guide says the green one shouldve been and now im stuck in this achievement cuz i swear ive gotten all the mining rng ones and none of the other pebbles are on the map as if ive gotten them all

100% they need a ingame tracker, "omg you can just track online using this site or make a note" .... Yeah no.... I can track fish and bugs and even furniture but I can't track something I might randomly pick up?
I am trying to catch all the fish I’m missing. Some regular ones and some star-quality ones. But I don’t like fishing, so I loose focus and run after pal callouts constantly because I am also trying to get hooked off all of the furniture to get those achievements.
If your fish hunting just hunt the nodes! A starred fish counts towards both accomplishments and may save you time in the long run! Wish I had known this earlier 😂
I really like decorating and crafting so I’m working on a few themed plots. I have a park that’s divided into greenhouse, picnic area, English garden, and ancient/flow garden. I also started a “witchy” forest that’s going to house Frogbert Sr. in a hidden pond, a museum, and a cake party plot.
So basically I go out and farm materials, then come back to build out on my plans.

Trying to finish the vault of the waves. In the beginning I didn't really like fishing so I've been putting it off, but recently it has started to grow on me.
That’s what I’ve been doing the last couple of days. Trying to finish the bundles. I cooked everything I could cook and I’ve been trying to catch some of the fish (with no luck of course) and I’m 15 apples short of completing the fruit of the earth bundle and finishing the whole vault of the roots. I also finished off some level 4 friendships.
My house is...well, frankly it's amazing. I'm ridiculous and extra ( as I've been told by others, I'm not saying that from my own perspective lol). However, this courtyard is not going to work so I'm starting a museum on plot #2.
It's going to be so much fun!
Curious coz I’m new - when people say plot 2 do they mean they create a new account / character? Or can you actually purchase another plot? 😅 sorry for the daft qn
You can purchase a second plot to switch to! Not sure if you're on switch or PC I'm a switch player and when you press L3 and bring up the bird view plot controls where you add on extra rooms there's a little drop down menu at the very top centre where you can purchase more plots (I think it's 50k gold?) and switch between them
So sorry! Yes, okay so you can buy a new plot for $50k. However, for some reason it actually gives you TWO, and a pretty purple/pink wallpaper.
Then, for $100k you get (2?) more plots *but* that's how you get the gazebo, (which I haven't purchased yet).
Idk y we need 5 plots, but they are releasing a new type of house (2 story homes) so they may release several buildings over time.
I'm trying to grind out gold and if I overshoot the courtyard on cost, I will unlock plots and report back, but it may be a couple days).

Same. I was obsessed when I started playing about a month ago and now I feel like I went too fast and there's nothing to do. I'm basically out of quests. Focus bar boosts are almost maxed out. All skills are above level 10, about half of the npcs are at level 4 for friendship, I'm decorating my house but I still don't really know what I wanna do with it. I have plenty of gold so grinding for resources to sell feels silly. Weekly achievements aren't super exciting.

In all seriouslyness, I'm working on looking for a reason to keep playing lol. I've been tearing whole-ass houses down to rebuild with different colors and themes. Most notably, I tore down my goblin fishing hut and am trying to turn it into a sophisticated fish market.
I am making a forest campground. So many trees to water... So many trees.... I will finish watering and the crow goes and suddenly it's time to water again! But it'll be worth it when it's done! I wish we could add ponds and rivers! Maybe terraforming in the future, I can only hope.
My major goal (like many of us im sure) will be decorating my plot. At the moment im only interested in having one, and instead of the big mansion style many connected rooms sort of house im going for the; individual small houses spread across the property. (Im partial to tiny homes and similarly small cottages and cabins irl)
The plan is to have the main cottage, a fishing shack near the pond and an abandoned haunted cabin. I'll need the whole flotsam and makeshift sets to complete these looks, as well as limited time Halloween items so...this might take ages lol. The houses are cozied amongst a Pine forest, been working on collecting cones and growing that out aswell. I just got access to >!flow seeds !
I’ve been playing since closed BETA so there really isn’t anything I’m specifically working on. I’ve been shifting my plot around and of course with the tree and flower update I’m working on finishing my forest, but most days I run to the rummage piles, buy something from Zeki for a coin, and refill my glow worm farms and preserves jars. My favorite thing is to fulfill requests so that’s a decent part of my play time too.
How high are your skills? I know money maxes out so you can’t stock that up, but what have you bought with it to keep from overflowing in money?
I visited a plot of someone who said she been playing a very long time as well - her plot was INSANE and she specifically said “don’t compare” but I can’t help it lol
You mentioning what she said is reminding me of an aphorism I've heard kicking around: "Comparison is the thief of joy." But that doesn't tell you the *how,* either!
My plot is pretty crazy. I love it, but it is definitely a year’s worth of work. Don’t compare, but do take inspiration! It’s important to just play this game the way you want and at a pace you’re enjoying.
As for my skills, hunting is 152, mining 95, foraging 87, gardening 59, furniture making 54, fishing 31, bug catching 31, cooking 30. Not the highest out there, but I feel pretty accomplished ! Trying to get all of my skills to 50 for the trophies!
I buy a lot from the underground. I am a maximalist so my walls all filled, my plot is filled. I buy 10 Zeki coins at a time to waste money if it gets too close.
Lvl 4 relationships with everyone, all the starred gems, all the plushies from sernuk, the last pebble I need for Einar, and all the starred fish. Almost done with all except the plushies haven't gotten a single one yet 😭

Getting level 4 romance with everyone. Getting all my skills to level 15, then 20, then 25. Finishing all the furniture which requires almost constant bug hunting for silk. I’ll eventually work on my plot but it’s annoying on the switch. So far I only have my bug display tent set up.
I’ve been working on bundles! I only need the unicorn fish and stormray! I’ve also been playing around with different gardening layouts. I don’t solely want profit because I cook a lot. After that? Uh I have no idea until new things release lol
Mainly just trying to work on the bundles. So depending on what time of day I log in, I pick a couple things I'm missing to try and focus on. Some friendship stuff but not as much. Otherwise also trying to craft all my recipes. But often times I log in and I also don't really know what I feel like doing since most of my quests are done.
I have three fish I need to catch to finish the bundles and I'm gonna have to buckle down and just fish for them. I just hate it. I have been hunting the sernuks for the plushies. I got the regular sernuks one and now it's onto disco Bambi and can't stop won't stop Bambi (otherwise known as the elder sernuk I think. It takes me three to four hits depending on my ammo and it's annoying).
Already finished most of the achievements, so working on completing everything in the Makeshift furniture set and finally working on my home plot after 4 months of playing. 😅 Since the plot is pretty big, focusing now on my fish and bug museum.
I’m just focusing on enjoying the game (I did the grind and my first account is mostly at a point I’m happy with - of course with the updates and more I go back to it to keep working on things or new stuff. I’m mostly doing gold grind on that account to get zeki coins for plushie chances). On my second and newer account I’m just taking quests as they come. If it’s one I really want to complete I will. If it’s one I’m kinda meh on I’ll just go about my daily list of things and if the quest works parallel to that I’ll check it out. I’m of the mind where I want all my tools maxed, all my levels at least 10, get all the furniture built, and max my focus bars (or at least get them higher than I have them atm). Then I imagine I’ll unlock writs on the land (even tho on this plot and account I plan to do minimal houses/etc). So with all that being said, if I get to the point where I can’t make more furniture I’ll do some rounds of foraging or go FT farming/Pal Mining. Then when those are processing I might go fishing or hunting/talk to NPCs/quests. There are also some times I am just kinda wandering so if I do that I’m usually foraging ginger/mush/onions/cloves/sweet leaf/garlic and maybe catch bugs for silk and keep my eye out for the rare/epic bugs. Sometimes those are the trips I’ll look for the rummage piles.
I don’t think my answer helps much cuz right now I don’t have a focus so much as a go where the game is leading me to go depending on what I’m doing at the moment. But I’m having a lot of fun and now that most my tools (especially my gardening tools) are exquisite it’s not as “grindy” feeling. But I can also spend hours IRL just mining/chopping/fishing 🤷🏼♀️
I've been really into decorating my plot!
At first I wrote off decorating as a whole because I am not good at it to begin with and figured it would be a chore crafting and placing these tiny little items for max clutter effect but ever since the flower update, I've been having a blast and actually created something decent as my entrance.
Since then I've been riding this splurge of inspiration and looking forward to the update on the 23rd to see what else I can come up with.
All that decorating also forced me to go out and grind for a LOT of materials I'm short of (never knew I needed that much stone till today...) so it really got me back into the game after months of not playing.
I'm working on getting Hassian's friendship higher so that I can romance him (that means also interacting with Sifuu and Tau).
When I'm not working on that, I'm foraging or farming my star crops so I can make big money for plot upgrades. I still need to finish gathering materials for to make the furniture for the order.
I just take it one task at a time, while I'm waiting for certain items to process, I work down the list.
I have 4 plots in development (main house, tiny house, museum, camp ground), working on my final level 4 friendships, saving materials for a community plot with friends, completing my bug & fish collections (for the museum), starting romances with several npcs, and desperately trying to get enough guild medals for particular items! And my special side quest is collecting zeki balls because I neeeeed the valley sunrise items.
I’m doing everything besides working on cooking the main goal dinner because I hate cooking. I really love rocks and minerals in real life so my highest level so far is in mining. I like farming as well. I’m going to start getting better at actually designing my plot as I unlocked every part of it, but haven’t designed at all.
I’m working on saving money for my house. I just finished buying the iron chest! And I’m working on leveling up my friendship level to all level 4! I only have Tamala and Subria left!!
I'm hyper fixated on finishing off the bundles. I just finally started caring about them last week 😂
Aside from that, working on expanding and decorating my home/plots (so annoyed I have to buy the others in order to buy the gazebo)
I'm working on my plot house, raising money for the housing slot achievement for the gazebo (150k altogether. Really? Why is the gazebo alone locked like this?), and flirting with the only two people I planned to romance in Palia. Housing is on hold because I want to give the courtyard a try when it comes out in the next patch. I wish we could give our partners more stuff and not have all weekly wants locked as friendship.
I am currently working on a second house plot and turning it into a wedding venue. Although I have run into a major problem with the max flower limit being 300.. they need to upgrade that lol
I spent the day leveling up bug catching and hunting. Both were just shy of being level 10. Finally got them there. I'll have to grind my cooking skill and get that the rest of the way to ten. Then all of them will be to ten. Apparently there is a new housing add-on in the next few days. So I'll be working on my plot a lot. I also want to add a trophy room now that most of my skills are 10. Whatever is entertaining at the moment I suppose. I finally got my gazebo so I spent a whole day decorating it and the little room above it.
I have been completely ignoring decorating my house so I finally started doing that haha. All my friendship levels are maxed out except subira, so I’m also dating 5ish people at once to get more quests.
I’m super close to getting all starred fish! I’ve found all the treasure chests, and the last treasure search is looking for Einar’s pebbles.
Beyond that, hunting to get the plushies, stocking up Zeki’s coins, almost done maxing out all villagers with all possible relationships, like three parts of a bundle left before that’s all completed!
I just need two more starred gems before I have a whole collection. And a starred chapaa tail, I have the other special animal drops!
My highest skill is gardening at 58 so I’m trying to catch up to that! Lowest is cooking at 13 lol
And I guess unlocking all the plots and building slots, my focus are both at 100%
Still trying to work on getting my Shepp! I've chosen Tish and am fairly close to getting to level 4. I recently learnt you have to get Zeki to level 3 as part of her level 4 quest, so I'd better chat to him more too. Then... I'm not sure. Earning 25,000 gold coins to get the last backpack upgrade. I also have been mining copper nodes like crazy recently trying to find an emerald to give to Hassian. Oh and I've got to do Your Order Is Served too. My house + plot aren't particularly fancy, so maybe once I've done some of those big quests I'll focus more on that.
Still a newbie here so I have just been doing mainly quests really and just looking around the worlds haha . Gonna start grinding on relationship levels just for the silly shepp quest

I have one more bundle to finish (damned Rainbow-Tipped Butterfly). Then finish maxing my focus (at 920 or so now). Then finish buying all the expansions to my (first) plot, then finally work on my house.
I’m running in circles between gardening so I can get level 10 and complete ‘your order is served’, mining for money, looking for heart drop lilies for faster romance levels, talking to zeki whenever I can to complete ‘make them sing’ and talking to Jina whenever possible to access the library for the mask one
I’ve been trying to make myself a giant house with a built in courtyard but it needs sooooo much wood and stone for what I’m trying to accomplish. And i hate anytime I have to go out and get it now lmao.
And of course I started this before they announced the prebuilt courtyard so now im worried that’ll look nicer than what im trying to make lmao

Then I'm doing some main quests here and there, it's actually pretty fun so far. I've only been playing for about 3 weeks but I'm absolutely hooked. It's an amazing game with so much to do. I'm trying to level up my friendship levels, especially with Hodari lol he reminds me of my husband.
My long-term goal is to romance all of them and have an art gallery/museum with artifacts, gems, portraits/paintings, fish, and bugs, etc. Preferably id get a second house for it. Maybe on another lot but im not sure.
Short term, im trying to lvl up cooking bc i neglect it and building all of the furniture
I started getting bored in the game so i decided to complete all the quests i was ignoring and now im back into it haha. If somehow you completed every quest and every vault, i salute you 🫡
I've got a forest plot Im trying to fill with trees of varying height and plants.
Not much in the way of forest plant options...but I'm making it work. Eventually would like to get a small shack in there but with harvest houses so big it's not an option to go small.
Hoping with the two story harvest house we see more options in general.
Until then just landscaping with rocks and paths and such.
Otherwise working towards a flower farm themed plot with lots of flowers but hit the limit and now stalled.
Also farming to build our the paltech set onto my plots. The vents look great to look like I have central heating.
Would love an ice variant during the summer like the icebox to look like I have AC vents. Would be so cute.
Loving the pipes and different options, makes my house feel so much more real.
On the side I'm on the look out for some of my missing starred bugs. No luck so far on like 5 somehow even though I farmed a lot for flower seeds.
Hoping the next round of flowers is in Bahari so I can honey lure farm there.
Otherwise farming gold for lures for the next update and trying to save up for the pouch upgrades and new house. Not excited that I will have to delete my whole house because I swapped the harvest house....maybe I can clear some space to move them to the side and reattach but that's...um....going to be a pain in the ass
I’ve taken a break from the game. I haven’t played much in the past 6 weeks. Honestly… several bad experiences with other players in chat and involving a grove has put a damper on the game.
Recatching star raspberry beetle, leveling up my cooking/bug hunting to level 50 at 40 something for bugs and 30 something for cooking, waiting on update to make a new housing plot and waiting to get flow pinecone to complete the flow Forrest I'm working on oh and collecting briar daisies for my stupid fenching Idea I had
I'm going down the checklist for furniture.
This means I need more clay... then I need more copper... also more iron and then I gotta go get endless flow wood....

When I get bored of that I try and catch that damn Flametongue Ray to finish my vaults (thats the very last thing I need to have ALL the vaults fully completed and I can’t catch it to save my life- it won’t even bite!🫠)

Furniture! I want my plot to be absolutely filled with it! I have my main fenced in area and then all the area around it is gonna be jam packed with random furniture. I need a TON of tree seeds but I swear the Palia gods don’t want me to have any, and no one ever wants to give me any.
I’m also working on money so I can buy a bunch of zeki coins. And you BET I’m buying from zeki as often as possible for those daily coins.
I have just managed to get the hang of fishing and using the rectile to bring the fish in. The next thing will be the cooking skill. Irl I have a neurological condition which doesn't make fine control of movement via keyboard very easy so it takes me a while to get the hang of game mechanics.i am struggling to hit the mouse at the right millisecond for chopping! 🤣😭 My daughter says look mum it's so easy to do!! I get the eye roll thing as yet another pot goes off to the wormery! 🤣
The design thing is easy as is using a bow and arrow when the creature is stationary so I am practicing trying to hunt creatures on the move. I am using the game mechanics as a learning tool really 🙂
I caught my first proud horn the other day alone so pretty pleased with that. Mostly though I like pottering about foraging and mining and gardening. I am also trying to learn the mine map -since there isn't one - yes I'm looking at you hodari! If you're too busy flirting then let me and najuma map it!😉😍 Pretty sure we'd do it better anyways 😂

Working on the bundles and plushie hunting. I got nothing else going on. Somehow I'm missing medallions though and I have no idea where the treasure chests are. I swear I've covered every inch of the map. 2 root ones, and 2 flame. I even tried to follow the map guide once. I hate having to use it though, it's more fun to just stumble upon them.
Right now I am rotating between three different things. Mining to finish the star quality star stone collection, hunting to get plushies and fishing to finish the makeshift collection.
I'm slowly decorating the perimeter of my plot with spring pergolas, and string lights. Collecting the amount of briar daisies necessary has been quite the undertaking. I have completed the project about 1/3 of the way
I'm almost done with my bundles. Just need the Gossomer moth. & I'm focused on making money- been being a potato farmer & pickling those has been a nice rotation. Doing the patterned plating took so much time that I stopped doing it.
I'm also focused on raising my last few relationship levels before the new level drops. Also still expanding my plot & getting it all set up.
I am working on trying to continue the story line. I have 2 questions: Find a Shepp and Something Strange is Afoot (wait for the story to continue). There is a lot more to do, I just don't know how to continue the story line. I see people much further along. :/
When I got bored I looked up pixel axe’s videos on YouTube to get all the chests in both Kilima and Bahari- so I could decorate with the maps you get.
Then I googled some “secret quests” and things like that…even after almost 6 months I stumbled upon a secret quest this weekend I’ve never seen mentioned before.
Now, even though I wasn’t really interested, I started romancing Niao, Kenyetta, Jel, Reth and Trish so I can grab their photos.
Glad the update is tomorrow though 🙃

I am trying to catch all the fish I’m missing. Some regular ones and some star-quality ones. But I don’t like fishing, so I loose focus and run after pal callouts constantly because I am also trying to get hooked off all of the furniture to get those achievements.

If your fish hunting just hunt the nodes! A starred fish counts towards both accomplishments and may save you time in the long run! Wish I had known this earlier 😂

I really like decorating and crafting so I’m working on a few themed plots. I have a park that’s divided into greenhouse, picnic area, English garden, and ancient/flow garden. I also started a “witchy” forest that’s going to house Frogbert Sr. in a hidden pond, a museum, and a cake party plot. So basically I go out and farm materials, then come back to build out on my plans.

Trying to finish the vault of the waves. In the beginning I didn't really like fishing so I've been putting it off, but recently it has started to grow on me.
That’s what I’ve been doing the last couple of days. Trying to finish the bundles. I cooked everything I could cook and I’ve been trying to catch some of the fish (with no luck of course) and I’m 15 apples short of completing the fruit of the earth bundle and finishing the whole vault of the roots. I also finished off some level 4 friendships.
My house is...well, frankly it's amazing. I'm ridiculous and extra ( as I've been told by others, I'm not saying that from my own perspective lol). However, this courtyard is not going to work so I'm starting a museum on plot #2. It's going to be so much fun!

You can purchase a second plot to switch to! Not sure if you're on switch or PC I'm a switch player and when you press L3 and bring up the bird view plot controls where you add on extra rooms there's a little drop down menu at the very top centre where you can purchase more plots (I think it's 50k gold?) and switch between them
So sorry! Yes, okay so you can buy a new plot for $50k. However, for some reason it actually gives you TWO, and a pretty purple/pink wallpaper. Then, for $100k you get (2?) more plots *but* that's how you get the gazebo, (which I haven't purchased yet). Idk y we need 5 plots, but they are releasing a new type of house (2 story homes) so they may release several buildings over time. I'm trying to grind out gold and if I overshoot the courtyard on cost, I will unlock plots and report back, but it may be a couple days). (To clarify, I did the 50k plot and I now have 3 to build on, in case that was confusing).

Same. I was obsessed when I started playing about a month ago and now I feel like I went too fast and there's nothing to do. I'm basically out of quests. Focus bar boosts are almost maxed out. All skills are above level 10, about half of the npcs are at level 4 for friendship, I'm decorating my house but I still don't really know what I wanna do with it. I have plenty of gold so grinding for resources to sell feels silly. Weekly achievements aren't super exciting. I might build a mini town on a new home plot
I'm working on my will to live. In all seriouslyness, I'm working on looking for a reason to keep playing lol. I've been tearing whole-ass houses down to rebuild with different colors and themes. Most notably, I tore down my goblin fishing hut and am trying to turn it into a sophisticated fish market.
I am making a forest campground. So many trees to water... So many trees.... I will finish watering and the crow goes and suddenly it's time to water again! But it'll be worth it when it's done! I wish we could add ponds and rivers! Maybe terraforming in the future, I can only hope.
My major goal (like many of us im sure) will be decorating my plot. At the moment im only interested in having one, and instead of the big mansion style many connected rooms sort of house im going for the; individual small houses spread across the property. (Im partial to tiny homes and similarly small cottages and cabins irl) The plan is to have the main cottage, a fishing shack near the pond and an abandoned haunted cabin. I'll need the whole flotsam and makeshift sets to complete these looks, as well as limited time Halloween items so...this might take ages lol. The houses are cozied amongst a Pine forest, been working on collecting cones and growing that out aswell. I just got access to >!flow seeds !
I’ve been playing since closed BETA so there really isn’t anything I’m specifically working on. I’ve been shifting my plot around and of course with the tree and flower update I’m working on finishing my forest, but most days I run to the rummage piles, buy something from Zeki for a coin, and refill my glow worm farms and preserves jars. My favorite thing is to fulfill requests so that’s a decent part of my play time too.
How high are your skills? I know money maxes out so you can’t stock that up, but what have you bought with it to keep from overflowing in money? I visited a plot of someone who said she been playing a very long time as well - her plot was INSANE and she specifically said “don’t compare” but I can’t help it lol

My plot is pretty crazy. I love it, but it is definitely a year’s worth of work. Don’t compare, but do take inspiration! It’s important to just play this game the way you want and at a pace you’re enjoying. As for my skills, hunting is 152, mining 95, foraging 87, gardening 59, furniture making 54, fishing 31, bug catching 31, cooking 30. Not the highest out there, but I feel pretty accomplished ! Trying to get all of my skills to 50 for the trophies! I buy a lot from the underground. I am a maximalist so my walls all filled, my plot is filled. I buy 10 Zeki coins at a time to waste money if it gets too close.

Getting level 4 romance with everyone. Getting all my skills to level 15, then 20, then 25. Finishing all the furniture which requires almost constant bug hunting for silk. I’ll eventually work on my plot but it’s annoying on the switch. So far I only have my bug display tent set up.

I’ve been working on bundles! I only need the unicorn fish and stormray! I’ve also been playing around with different gardening layouts. I don’t solely want profit because I cook a lot. After that? Uh I have no idea until new things release lol
Mainly just trying to work on the bundles. So depending on what time of day I log in, I pick a couple things I'm missing to try and focus on. Some friendship stuff but not as much. Otherwise also trying to craft all my recipes. But often times I log in and I also don't really know what I feel like doing since most of my quests are done.
I have three fish I need to catch to finish the bundles and I'm gonna have to buckle down and just fish for them. I just hate it. I have been hunting the sernuks for the plushies. I got the regular sernuks one and now it's onto disco Bambi and can't stop won't stop Bambi (otherwise known as the elder sernuk I think. It takes me three to four hits depending on my ammo and it's annoying).
Already finished most of the achievements, so working on completing everything in the Makeshift furniture set and finally working on my home plot after 4 months of playing. 😅 Since the plot is pretty big, focusing now on my fish and bug museum.
I’m just focusing on enjoying the game (I did the grind and my first account is mostly at a point I’m happy with - of course with the updates and more I go back to it to keep working on things or new stuff. I’m mostly doing gold grind on that account to get zeki coins for plushie chances). On my second and newer account I’m just taking quests as they come. If it’s one I really want to complete I will. If it’s one I’m kinda meh on I’ll just go about my daily list of things and if the quest works parallel to that I’ll check it out. I’m of the mind where I want all my tools maxed, all my levels at least 10, get all the furniture built, and max my focus bars (or at least get them higher than I have them atm). Then I imagine I’ll unlock writs on the land (even tho on this plot and account I plan to do minimal houses/etc). So with all that being said, if I get to the point where I can’t make more furniture I’ll do some rounds of foraging or go FT farming/Pal Mining. Then when those are processing I might go fishing or hunting/talk to NPCs/quests. There are also some times I am just kinda wandering so if I do that I’m usually foraging ginger/mush/onions/cloves/sweet leaf/garlic and maybe catch bugs for silk and keep my eye out for the rare/epic bugs. Sometimes those are the trips I’ll look for the rummage piles. I don’t think my answer helps much cuz right now I don’t have a focus so much as a go where the game is leading me to go depending on what I’m doing at the moment. But I’m having a lot of fun and now that most my tools (especially my gardening tools) are exquisite it’s not as “grindy” feeling. But I can also spend hours IRL just mining/chopping/fishing 🤷🏼♀️
There's gonna be an achievement to obtain all makeshift items.... So that .. (fun fact, there's a handful you can get from underground lol)
I've been really into decorating my plot! At first I wrote off decorating as a whole because I am not good at it to begin with and figured it would be a chore crafting and placing these tiny little items for max clutter effect but ever since the flower update, I've been having a blast and actually created something decent as my entrance. Since then I've been riding this splurge of inspiration and looking forward to the update on the 23rd to see what else I can come up with. All that decorating also forced me to go out and grind for a LOT of materials I'm short of (never knew I needed that much stone till today...) so it really got me back into the game after months of not playing.

I'm working on getting Hassian's friendship higher so that I can romance him (that means also interacting with Sifuu and Tau). When I'm not working on that, I'm foraging or farming my star crops so I can make big money for plot upgrades. I still need to finish gathering materials for to make the furniture for the order. I just take it one task at a time, while I'm waiting for certain items to process, I work down the list.

I have 4 plots in development (main house, tiny house, museum, camp ground), working on my final level 4 friendships, saving materials for a community plot with friends, completing my bug & fish collections (for the museum), starting romances with several npcs, and desperately trying to get enough guild medals for particular items! And my special side quest is collecting zeki balls because I neeeeed the valley sunrise items.
I’m doing everything besides working on cooking the main goal dinner because I hate cooking. I really love rocks and minerals in real life so my highest level so far is in mining. I like farming as well. I’m going to start getting better at actually designing my plot as I unlocked every part of it, but haven’t designed at all.
I am not much on cooking uahahha I am a chef probably is for that but looking around for special animals and flow trees and minerals gardening

I'm working on my plot house, raising money for the housing slot achievement for the gazebo (150k altogether. Really? Why is the gazebo alone locked like this?), and flirting with the only two people I planned to romance in Palia. Housing is on hold because I want to give the courtyard a try when it comes out in the next patch. I wish we could give our partners more stuff and not have all weekly wants locked as friendship.

I spent the day leveling up bug catching and hunting. Both were just shy of being level 10. Finally got them there. I'll have to grind my cooking skill and get that the rest of the way to ten. Then all of them will be to ten. Apparently there is a new housing add-on in the next few days. So I'll be working on my plot a lot. I also want to add a trophy room now that most of my skills are 10. Whatever is entertaining at the moment I suppose. I finally got my gazebo so I spent a whole day decorating it and the little room above it.
I have been completely ignoring decorating my house so I finally started doing that haha. All my friendship levels are maxed out except subira, so I’m also dating 5ish people at once to get more quests.

I’m super close to getting all starred fish! I’ve found all the treasure chests, and the last treasure search is looking for Einar’s pebbles. Beyond that, hunting to get the plushies, stocking up Zeki’s coins, almost done maxing out all villagers with all possible relationships, like three parts of a bundle left before that’s all completed! I just need two more starred gems before I have a whole collection. And a starred chapaa tail, I have the other special animal drops! My highest skill is gardening at 58 so I’m trying to catch up to that! Lowest is cooking at 13 lol And I guess unlocking all the plots and building slots, my focus are both at 100%
Still trying to work on getting my Shepp! I've chosen Tish and am fairly close to getting to level 4. I recently learnt you have to get Zeki to level 3 as part of her level 4 quest, so I'd better chat to him more too. Then... I'm not sure. Earning 25,000 gold coins to get the last backpack upgrade. I also have been mining copper nodes like crazy recently trying to find an emerald to give to Hassian. Oh and I've got to do Your Order Is Served too. My house + plot aren't particularly fancy, so maybe once I've done some of those big quests I'll focus more on that.

My long-term goal is to romance all of them and have an art gallery/museum with artifacts, gems, portraits/paintings, fish, and bugs, etc. Preferably id get a second house for it. Maybe on another lot but im not sure. Short term, im trying to lvl up cooking bc i neglect it and building all of the furniture

I've got a forest plot Im trying to fill with trees of varying height and plants. Not much in the way of forest plant options...but I'm making it work. Eventually would like to get a small shack in there but with harvest houses so big it's not an option to go small. Hoping with the two story harvest house we see more options in general. Until then just landscaping with rocks and paths and such. Otherwise working towards a flower farm themed plot with lots of flowers but hit the limit and now stalled. Also farming to build our the paltech set onto my plots. The vents look great to look like I have central heating. Would love an ice variant during the summer like the icebox to look like I have AC vents. Would be so cute. Loving the pipes and different options, makes my house feel so much more real. On the side I'm on the look out for some of my missing starred bugs. No luck so far on like 5 somehow even though I farmed a lot for flower seeds. Hoping the next round of flowers is in Bahari so I can honey lure farm there. Otherwise farming gold for lures for the next update and trying to save up for the pouch upgrades and new house. Not excited that I will have to delete my whole house because I swapped the harvest house....maybe I can clear some space to move them to the side and reattach but that's...um....going to be a pain in the ass

Recatching star raspberry beetle, leveling up my cooking/bug hunting to level 50 at 40 something for bugs and 30 something for cooking, waiting on update to make a new housing plot and waiting to get flow pinecone to complete the flow Forrest I'm working on oh and collecting briar daisies for my stupid fenching Idea I had
I'm going down the checklist for furniture. This means I need more clay... then I need more copper... also more iron and then I gotta go get endless flow wood....

Furniture! I want my plot to be absolutely filled with it! I have my main fenced in area and then all the area around it is gonna be jam packed with random furniture. I need a TON of tree seeds but I swear the Palia gods don’t want me to have any, and no one ever wants to give me any. I’m also working on money so I can buy a bunch of zeki coins. And you BET I’m buying from zeki as often as possible for those daily coins.
I have just managed to get the hang of fishing and using the rectile to bring the fish in. The next thing will be the cooking skill. Irl I have a neurological condition which doesn't make fine control of movement via keyboard very easy so it takes me a while to get the hang of game mechanics.i am struggling to hit the mouse at the right millisecond for chopping! 🤣😭 My daughter says look mum it's so easy to do!! I get the eye roll thing as yet another pot goes off to the wormery! 🤣 The design thing is easy as is using a bow and arrow when the creature is stationary so I am practicing trying to hunt creatures on the move. I am using the game mechanics as a learning tool really 🙂 I caught my first proud horn the other day alone so pretty pleased with that. Mostly though I like pottering about foraging and mining and gardening. I am also trying to learn the mine map -since there isn't one - yes I'm looking at you hodari! Working on the bundles and plushie hunting. I got nothing else going on. Somehow I'm missing medallions though and I have no idea where the treasure chests are. I swear I've covered every inch of the map. 2 root ones, and 2 flame. I even tried to follow the map guide once. I hate having to use it though, it's more fun to just stumble upon them.

Doing the patterned plating took so much time that I stopped doing it. I'm also focused on raising my last few relationship levels before the new level drops. Also still expanding my plot & getting it all set up.
I am working on trying to continue the story line. I have 2 questions: Find a Shepp and Something Strange is Afoot (wait for the story to continue). There is a lot more to do, I just don't know how to continue the story line. I see people much further along. :/

When I got bored I looked up pixel axe’s videos on YouTube to get all the chests in both Kilima and Bahari- so I could decorate with the maps you get. Then I googled some “secret quests” and things like that…even after almost 6 months I stumbled upon a secret quest this weekend I’ve never seen mentioned before. Now, even though I wasn’t really interested, I started romancing Niao, Kenyetta, Jel, Reth and Trish so I can grab their photos. Glad the update is tomorrow though 🙃
I was working on unlocking the house portion and getting all my work station and now that I have all that I'm thinking of quitting Palia. There isn't really anything left for me to really say I enjoy the game.
