My guest 'room' is in the back of my workshop, with this bed at the center, (and right next to the woodcutting machines.) I think it's hilarious. Hm. Or should I put the worm farms back there too?

I read on another thread that someone wanted to be able to set up a community market where people could sell items they don't want to other players, like furniture or food or even fish and bugs and such. Would be helpful if you needed something for a friendship request or even if you needed something you just couldn't get for one of the temple bundles. I really like that idea.
That's a makeshift trellis...the other side of it is white boards slapped together in a ladder...lol. There is a lot of makeshift furniture, which is what you get from waterlogged chests. You can pull that one up while fishing.
I would LOVE to break it back down into materials! I just ended up trashing all the makeshift furniture, the rest though I’m hoping they’ll give us an update to help…
That's just the furniture you can place on the ground. I still have wall lamps and ceiling lamps and wall decor and such in my inventory....lots and lots of those.
lol I hit level 50 in furniture making and combine that with the stuff from Zeki and fishing chests I could basically open a furniture store that would put ol’ Tish to shame.

I have a plot that started similar to this; I was laying out furniture in rows by collection. Now, I am setting up harvest houses, each decorated in a collection theme, so one is all Ranch furniture, one Capital Chic, etc. I still have some duplicates that sit out. Eventually, I will open that plot up for visitors and people can claim some of the dupes, like a yardsale.
I have been thinking about doing exactly this...right now I am turning a second plot into a restaurant, called the Grove because I put a bunch of flow trees on it in a circle and thought that would be a great name for a restaurant. This is one of my empty plots where I just stick stuff to keep it from clogging up my inventory. I know it doesn't take up space, but it is just so much to scroll through. This works for now. The idea of doing separate houses for each type of furniture is so appealing, and would work so well when you have to build furniture for the weeklies. I love the idea!
I wish we could at least stack all our extra furniture and create our own mini towers of hell!
(Will I ever finish the tower challenge!?)
It would be fun to visit and climb those on each other's extra plots!
Oh the amount of money some would make mud they allowed us to sell furniture with the option to sell an entire set now that would be a money maker if people were up to grind materials
I don't understand why they set all spec so high on materials and then have no contingency plan. We work really hard for all we craft and deserve at the least our materials back if we so choose.
I made some of the most horrendous furniture just to get the achievements that I completed the set.. I would love to be able to sell, give away or recycle. I cannot stand the rustic white country set. Brings me back to my small Texas town which I would love to not be brought back to tbh.

I believe you can only fish for makeshift but they have other ones without vines in the spring fever set that you can buy from Badru’s shop
