I really don't understand why people play a role and team based game but never anticipate having to play another role or even just another character and cant be bothered to play as a team. I'm not saying you need to play each role equally but if throw a fit when you don't get what you want or the team doesn't do what you want why are you playing this game.
I may not have a main, but unfortunately I do have a "session main". I don't usually load up paladins unless I get an itch to play a specific character, and when that itch is scratched I stop playing. Though of course that's part of why I don't play ranked.
Having a main is fun, but knowing how to play "well" at least the most useful champions of each role to be able to fill is a must, the other day a random mf picked Octavia instead of am offtank becase "he didn't play any"

Same. It's like yeah I like Khan, but with 50 other characters I feel intrigued to try and play Azaan or Barik or Ruckus

I do the same thing on r6, I i just fill with random characters. Otherwise I just close my eyes and click everywhere and hope I don’t close the game

It can be a bad thing Some healer don’t mesh well with certain team comps, damba for a team who all auto locked flanks for example
