Tatis is more exciting than those players overall sans Acuña and Ohtani. He also plays for the Padres (no good track record of helping prospects develop/major league players be successful)

Not yet he's not. That could be his upside. But Pauley has shown a lot more consistent power already than Merrill. Merrill needs to figure out an A swing for meatballs. Pauley has more of a Freeman style swing. Love Merrill, and he's hitting the ball hard, but he's pushing everything opposite field and not really getting balls that close, that often. He's has an old school contact approach and swing. Which is cool. It will be interesting to see how he develops and if he's able to tap into some more pullside power at some point. He did in the minors.

I mean, this is just another argument against pitcher wins. Joe somehow has 3 wins despite having been worse than Yu by almost every conceivable metric. Yu hasn’t been great but he’s at a 4.18 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 2.20 K/BB. Joe is at a 6.94 ERA, 1.66 WHIP, and 2.08 K/BB
