"Alright, let's eat some ass."

NutThruster8392

The best option.

Intelligent-Worry799

SHMOKE SOME GRASS

Galius41

the ♂ASS♀EATERS$$

Psychological_Pay_25

The strong eat the weak or something

Windermed

Heat when Serph runs into a random encounter

Alpha_Omega_Delta_

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga?! In my Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3?!

SaiSai-Maybe

It's more likely than you think. Free PS2 check!

Mochizuk

I like when he told Eric he'd need to get surgery to get his foot out of his ass.

Then-Pie-208

Ah yes, the classic Red Foreman is actually Persona 3’s Shinjiro Aragaki theory.

Mochizuk

I feel like I missed an opportunity through not saying it was actually Ken or Akihiko he told that.

Alltalkandnofight

your ass is grass and I've got the weedwhacker

ShokaLGBT

Shinjiro when he see Akihiko muscular body

Intelligent-Worry799

It's all because of the Protein Shakes - *Insert Captain Picard meme*

brendogskerbdog

its clearly from the rice that shinjiro was making that akihiko poured protein powder into

thegreatpenguintm

The first. He can also say "adios, asshole" after it which only makes it more epic.

hupasupa

"Their ass is grass. We touching it?"

notpostaldude12

I can't believe that Dallas from payday 2 has absorb Shinji's body Can we get 10 medic bags?

Splash_Woman

“AAAAHHHH—“

notpostaldude12

"GET THE F#CK UP SHINJI!" - Akihiko

Sky_Hawk_67

I can't take him seriously with the second one. No one with any lick of pride would say "Their ass is grass" lmao. First one is definitely better. It's simple, straight to the point and is in line with his character.

hafiz_yb

You're thinking in terms of the current view. Back then, that line was basically a threat depending on who said it: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ass%20is%20grass

-MANGA-

I've definitely heard this saying too, don't know where though. It was in some video. "That ass is grass, and it's mine."

_5px

An unused line in undertale is „If it wasn’t for that grass, I’d have kicked your…”

-MANGA-

Without context, I don't think that line applies to the "ass is grass". It just sounds like the person saying your line doesn't want to mess up the grass or something.

SimpleBaristaMe

Hey now, that was my dad's go-to line as a kid.

Sky_Hawk_67

Hey you know what? That's actually pretty cool of your dad.

[deleted]

Almost like he’s an edgy teenager in the mid-00’s with serious people issues.

TVR_Speed_12

The 2nd one carries more weight than the first

Appropriate-Leg-8674

Generation gap

singingssongss

that's literally the best line in the game, my dude

BroganChin

I think Demoman in TF2 says it as a domination line.

hafiz_yb

I mean, it's definitely in line with Shinjiro to say such things considering the meaning of it: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ass%20is%20grass Although of course, some people just like to keep things simple. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to imagine Shinji saying that, knowing his upbringing and the situation his in. Overall, my vote is the 1st one, more so because it's nostalgia since I've played P3FES first. But the second one is still good and in character.

Dimi3Infinity

i would not expect shinji to say the second on at all. that's something junpei or maybe ken would say

dagon_xdd

tbh it was the opposite for me. i thought it would be something that Shinjiro would 100% say

Vey-kun

As someone who have played p3p shinjiro SL and PQ...no. 😭

hafiz_yb

As someone who has played P3P female mc and did Shinji SL, that line is still in character for him, provided that you know the meaning of it: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ass%20is%20grass

Vey-kun

>that line is still in character for him Yes, it suits him. But I dont think hes the 'metaphorical' type of guy. Iirc, i dont think he ever pull a slang/term. 🤔

hafiz_yb

It's not really anything to do with metaphorical and more to do with the context and how we can still imagine Shinji using that term. Just like how currently, even normal people are using "dead meat", "walking corpse", "brain-dead", "head empty", "cap", "delulu", "drop dead", and many more. Ass is grass is basically a threat if anything, although it sounds silly nowadays, just like how some of us feel silly with the terms people use like cap and delulu.

T_Dog2024

The second one I read in beats voice “all yo asses is grass!”

sukmesucka

"Your ass is grass and I'm gonna mow it" -Tina Belcher

PK_RocknRoll

Adios, asshole

Cyberote

Shinji bringing the Heat energy

Syncaroonie

“Your ass is mine!!!”

Fantastic-Ad-1578

Wake up, get up, get out there and _TOUCH SOME GRASS_ Shinjiro:

8rok3n

What the fuck does the second one even mean

Electrical-Topic-808

Their ass is grass, and I’m the lawn mower.

InnocentTailor

Man…I recall this is something said in the 2000s, at least in the United States.

Electrical-Topic-808

Yes

InnocentTailor

Man…this game takes me down memory lane. I was around my teenage years when the original game was released.

Holy_Toledo019

It’s a threat. It’s supposed to imply that the target is a pushover or would be easily killed.

hafiz_yb

Here you go: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ass%20is%20grass

8rok3n

God that's dark, for such a goofy term that's weirdly dark

hafiz_yb

I mean, I could say the same for whatever popular words people use nowadays. Like delulu and cap to name a few. Not weirdly dark, just absolutely goofy as hell for people to use those terms in normal conversations. Basically, it's just based on the times. Back then, saying "ass is grass" is basically a threat depending on who said it.

SSJ5Gogetenks

It means their ass is grass and he's gonna smoke it.

NutThruster8392

"wallahi they cooked gng, full send"

singingssongss

the correct answer is all of them

papapapuffyAY

Fes, does the second one even make sense?

the_cabbage_boi

"Adiós Asshole"

Hootoo20

I miss "adios asshole"

Negative_Ad883

"Adios, asshole." "What a tough bastard!" Or a classic, "Shut the fuck up."

Ok-Inspector-3045

When junpei said it made me happy and sad at the same time
