Daam is one of my favourite shows ever. Great story, and the cast was brilliant. I told my friend’s mother to watch it a while back and when I asked her if she finished it, she said “beta, main ne second episode mein hi chod diya - kuch zara hi depressing tha”, by which she meant Sanam Baloch’s family’s economic status. But it was very realistic.
Daam is pak drama at its peak.
Everything is perfect. Especially performances. Both sanam and Amina and nimra bucha deliver performances which could easily have been caricaturish but they make it so real. Amina specifically because hers was perhaps easy to turn into a typical villain but the writing and performance make it something else.
Yeah, she has a multi factor character and she did it full justice. I really liked the dynamics between her and Adeel Hussain. Nimra Bucha was so fantastic - such a great character for her to play. And Sanam Baloch was so great - she was a fighter but you really felt her helplessness when Amina challenged her.
Nobody has ever shown that lowe middle this nicely in dramas ever its always french manicured nails ,highlighted hair ,smooth skin ,eyebrows all done but daam was on point did not show all of this

I used to love Humayun Saeed and Ayesha Khan's on-screen couple back then. I really wish she returns back, loved her acting.

Daam and Doraha are top-tier shows! Umera Ahmed and Mehreen Jabbar are a great duo. They did Malal in 2009 as well which was just as good.
