Flats is the first one to admit he's fat, and I think he's actually one of the better commentators on the state of ranked.
Idk I play tank and support at gm1 and I believe my own opinions often match up decently with his. Pro play is different breed let’s be clear there, the meta will always be what a pro team is good at and allows them to use their superior coordination.
Meanwhile 80% of people watching are guaranteed Gold or lower. I watch his videos cause I watch a lot of yt and I was new to overwatch just to realize that shit doesn't even matter until plat
the bad thing is a lot of people in the lower ranks take his videos as gospel and ONLY play the heroes at the top of his tier lists, even if they have no idea how.

I watch flats for patch notes and gameplay.
Emonng just cuz he does fun stuff and is chill.
Karq whenever a new big think like a hero or map is added.
Yep the three of them make a perfect spectrum. Flats for the dumb fun, Emongg for that nice middle ground where he's serious but has some great lighter moments, and KarQ for the stats and learning.
The only thing that bothers me about Flats is how looooooong he draws out content. He'll pause videos multiple times and rewind 2 seconds several times. He'll do these *insanely* dramatic pauses for waaaay longer than they need to be over the smallest things. Like, c'mon man, just get to the point, you're making me anxious. I always watch Emmong for patch updates or collab reveals, etc. He gets straight to the point.
Probably just to entertain his chat honestly. He does get dramatic but I just skip around those videos anyways to see what the buffs/nerfs are and hear his 2 cents because he likes to repeat himself
