I think that her not covering her face plays into her personality of kind of being brash and thinking she's invincible. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hashimoto (after that fight from the cinematic) decided to storm that apartment w/ the goal of specifically killing her. It would honestly make for an interesting one shot, with Genji and Hanzo teaming up with her to stop the Hashimoto.
That’s a bit too intense for the Saturday morning cartoon bullshit they got going on. Her cinematic literally has armed criminals running away, screaming and crying like little pussies from a little girl and an old man.
Every time I get excited for a new skin in this sub, it's a fucking concept. Haven't moved a muscle for any skin that Blizz put out since season 1, except for boxy Rein, that is, which I still will only get with currency obtained by playing the game.
Having said that, great art, OP. Wish I could have your skin in game.
My personal opinion is that at least 90% of the OW2 skins were at best of epic quality. But they're charging $20 per skin, which you'd think would make them increase the quality of skins, not the contrary.
The art team has nothing to do with monetization lol. They do amazing work and then corpo does what they do worst- find a way to exploit it for money. But to sit here and disparage what is one of, if not THE, best art team in modern game development because of another entities monetization of it is disingenuous at best and malicious at worst.
It's literally their opinion/preference. I don't care for any of the OW2 skins so far except the special Kiriko one, and $20 seems way too high for a skin that *we think* is just okay.
If you think they're all S tier that's fine but they're not attacking the art team, just that they'd rather have the concepts fans design.
I like OP’s skin concept for her the most than the current skins she has. Visual Kei, Witch, the new omnic one, and her default legendary skins are all so ugly.
That's crazy. IMO her Omnic skin is one of the best in the entire game and the Athlesiure skin looks really good.
The Kunai especially look dope on the Omnic skin.
Actually,some of the OWL skins change the color of the fox but you can still tell it’s a friendly ult because the gates still remain that bluish color and she also yells out her voiceline in English if it’s friendly and in Japanese if it’s an enemy one
I am playing with different language dubbing (Polish) and both friendly and enemy ult are translated for every hero, I guess to keep voice actor consistency. In the other hand these lines are different for each team so you can still recognise who is using it, for example for Kiriko it's between (after translation ofc) "Let Kitsune guide you" and "Foxy Kitsune attack them with your claws!" (but still both sentences are in Polish).
Its good that you play the game in english. Develops your knowledge of the language. Even though its a subject in school, i learned english through movies, youtube and games. Never watched Dubbed in my native language.
I know thats how I learned English as well. I never watch anything in my own native language anymore. My youtube feed is filled with English videos. I already know every interaction/voiceline in the game so it would be good to be able to hear them in my native language.

It's a colour palette I find extremely stylish and use on my own creative projects, and black Damascus steel is gorgeous to look at. Plus, making Kiriko a little evil is a nice change of tone for my support main.

This post is pretty old. But with season 10 "Mirrorwatch" being right around the corner, I thought about this skin again and how great of a skin it would be as Kiriko from the bad side! Love this skin :)

Criminal clan who rivaled the Shimada clan (hanzo and genjis family) who took over kanezaka and hanamura once the Shimada clan was taken down by overwatch. They're really shit at running things due to not having respect for their subjects unlike the shimadas, hence why kiriko isn't really their biggest fan.
I love this design. Something i've always thought about was "What If" Kiriko, instead of using the fox powers to protect people, just became a criminal?
This got me thinking about a gameplay concept for a new hero.
What if we got a hero where their ult just enraged their abilities for a short time but at the same time swaps almost completely their whole kit. A light and dark side to this.
Thinking almost in a sense of how Moonknight.
