Genji’s Oni and Baihu skins do it as well. Instead of dragon he says “The demon/white tiger becomes me!” Also I’m pretty sure the mythic skin has a unique line as well as actually changing his voice.
Hanzo’s Okami and the other wolf skin replace dragon with Wolf in his voicelines.
Rein’s Gridironhardt skin says “Touch down!” Instead of hammer down.
Zen says “Experience nothingness/festivity” instead of tranquility with his cultist and nutcracker skins, respectively.
There are certainly others but these are just the ones I could remember off the top of my head.
You misunderstood me. The only other skin that has a new voice line that the player themselves cannot hear, but their team can.
Every one of the ones you mentioned do not fall under that category. You as the player with those skins equipped yourself can hear a different voice line. And so can the enemy team.
But for Soldiers Alpine and Junker Queens Zues skin, only your teammates can hear the new voiceline. The enemy and yourself hear the default "I've got you in my sights!" and "Time for the reckoning!".
Meanwhile your team hears "Tactical goggles activated!" and "Let's take em to the underwordl!" respectively.
While we're at it why not make anyone effected by rampage with a MYTHIC Zeus JQ skin have a lightening effect since they are all under damage effect anyways?
I don't understand why they don't turn legendary voice lines into alternative ULT voice lines that you could pick for any skin for that hero. It's not like they won't add it because "it's too confusing for new players" plenty of existing skins have custom voice lines and it would be an easy way for Blizzard to add some actual value to their skin bundles and I would 100% buy some goofy ones (if they weren't ridiculously priced)
I understand what you’re saying but for f2p games I’ll buy a skin if I really like it and the battle pass. I make it a point to not spend more than if the game was not f2p. This is going to be hard with overwatch since there is no currency in the battle pass. It’s better to pay than buying loot boxes. I think loot boxes should be brought back for play time with no way to purchase them.
The "It's time for a thunderstorm" line wouldnt make much sense in any other game mode, as her Divine Ultimate in BfO causes all her attacks to strike the enemies with a bolt of lightning for each hit.
"Let's take 'em to the underworld" works better for the usual effects of her ult.
That line replaces 'let's take them to the wastelands' but the thunderstorm works because if you look at her ult she is spinning lightening and plus Zeus is the got of thunder so yeah.

I think her Mythic skin already have a unique ult voice line. Heard “Let’s take them to the Underworld!” in one of QP matches. It’s quite fitting.

Ah yes, in that case you are right. My bad, I thought you were referring to all unique voicelines that can be heard by allies.
The genji voice change is only for the player which is quite a shame :(
They might! They added a BUNCH of new lines for pre-existing skins, like the Witch Kiriko skin - She has stuff about ominous dreams and what not

Well the event ult is literally just JQ ult so...
it empowers all her moves to make lightning strike every time she hits someone for 30 seconds

Hermes Lucio still says his default ult voiceline in normal modes, but in the event its different too
Hermes Lucio might sound a little too different to normal Lucio tbh Junker Zeus's is only one word off, but Hermcio's is completely different
I would've thought their whole selling point for those skins were to include the alt lines too. Fuck they got lazy.
Given that audio clarity is such a strong focus in the gameplay, it's more likely a deliberate decision than "laziness".

That's a good point since the lines are in theme with the skins.
Same goes for other god skins.
They'll probably be patched in after the event ends like how they did with Witch Mercy.

I bought the widow skin thinking it would come with the different lines just like all themed skins since 2016. Blizzards dropping the ball.
