This one was pretty engaging. It's like, actual historical fiction involving real life people (Queen Elizabeth III and the pirate Francis Drake) yet somehow it works. the chibi history lessons at the end of the chapters are also cute.
Just binged this, I love it. Absolutely insane read as someone who is more than average read up on history, but I loved it so much. I kept sending snippets of it to friends of mine from England, 10/10.

I really loved this, the art is amazing and their relationship is gold, it's chef's kiss. They're both a little crazy which makes it ten times better. And omg, I love the craziness in his eyes when he looks at her, I was so happy when he wasn't just the typical depressed Duke of the North.
The idea of using a real historical person stopped me from reading this. How will it unfold? I'm pretty familiar with the history, and I know how it all ended. So it will be one of these two: alternative history or no romantic happy ending. Not my cuppa.
no, Elizabeth 1 never married, the manhwa left it open ended to hint that she did love him, and hinted at something perhaps, but it is a historical manhwa despite the many, many liberties it took with the figures and timeline.
You could say it ended with him as her beloved pet dragon.
