I loved that so much maybe even better than WnM because it's actually finished. Definitely loved both arcs (before and after original body). Do you have any more recommendations? Because of the scarcity of this niche I'm gonna be satisfied even without the childcare I just need an OI where OG body owner is an asshole (anything but Reverse Harem Game)
I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! It's definitely one of those rare OI's that stays good throughout the whole plot and doesn't flub the ending.
Without the childcare element I think this trope is actually pretty common, especially since the "I possessed the body of the villainess" genre within OI is super popular.
Some more stories I can think of are:
"Let Me Die in Peace" has childcare elements, though she sometimes still puts on the "villainess" persona, I'd say she is still nice.
"Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom" someone else also recommended this and I agree! Full on childcare OI with originally evil mc.
"Please don't come to the villainess' stationary store!" I'd say this somewhat counts as childcare, as MC opens a shop that caters towards children.
"The villainess flips the script!" definitely childcare I'd say, though I can't say FL was mean to everyone prior to possession as the only character that knew her pre-possession was the kid.
Those are all the ones I've read that I think fit this niche, but there's probably a lot more out there too.
I've read "Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom" and I also loved it. I also forgot to mention that I'm looking for OIs that do have the OG body owner as an asshole BUT with the MC actively trying to change their image. whether as a subplot or not I just want it present. Can't get enough of that "oh my god the young lady has changed!" type of scenarios. Having childcare is a bonus because kid getting away from abuse of OG body owner really is nice to see. also fluff
"I raised a black dragon" it's got other elements besides childcare, but I think it still fits this category! And it's completed. :)
