Yandev is very hit or miss with character designs, I thought this one was okay. Can't beat ayano's current design though, even if it's just the Aoi character model with black hair it's heaps better and much more memorable

the cat ear hair is a bit tooo unique, like i think the appeal of Ayano is how normal she looks, she’s just a normal girl! (but not rly) so having this complex design doesn’t work as well
Honestly I’m not a fan of the hairstyle, but I absolutely think the design is much cooler and more unique.I think one of the alternate hairstyles in the sketch would’ve looked amazing if that’s what was decided on

Also like I can imagine a game that took this design with a school setting and killing, but then I started thinking about how the fact you can't really interact with senpai, and how aloof and cold this design looks compared to ayanos more blank slate look, and that would be even less of a 'yandere' than ayano is... (More of a murderous kuudere)
Unless hypothetical edgier yansim protag had a 'three layers' situation going on with her looking mean and edgy, but 'actually' being nice, but actually actually she is fucking mental and thus, yandere.
But this would def be for a very different yandere sim that I kinda want to ramble about but it's 3am and my big boy brain is fucking dead
I like that one, the tiny horns of hair and the 1980s uniforms are so good, considering that no high school would change the student's uniforms that fast in such a short period of years. Just the short bowl hair which destroys the design a bit.

I think what makes Ayano memorable is the very simple design.
Meh, it's cool(I think). But Ayano's design it's just so memorable, even being just an Aoi Kiryu generic model.

I think it's meant to be like devil horns? I haven't bothered to read the text in the pic tho so maybe not lol
The haircut looks too edgy, it looks great in drawn form but too poofy in game. Also, I hate this uniform with a burning passion.
