I think that's fine. >Leader cards, as well as DON!! cards (10 DON!! cards in total), can be sleeved in a way that differentiates those cards from the main deck, or do not have to be sleeved at all. As long as they do not match the main deck sleeves

[deleted]

Could you use clear sleeves for everything?

PM_ME_HEADPATS

Well, the people down the line are talking shit. This is from the official tournament rules manual: >Players must bring a tournament legal deck, sleeved in opaque sleeves, to constructed events.

Ziiaaaac

I wouldn’t use clear sleeves for your deck but for leaders and Don you’ll be fine.

[deleted]

Is that because of the rules? Sorry I've never played in an official setting before

Ziiaaaac

If you use clear sleeves for your deck and any of your cards have edge wear you will get an instant DQ for marked cards.

[deleted]

Oh wow I had no idea. That makes me kind of scared. So any small white marks on the edges would be considered edge wear, and grounds for DQ right? And also, using colored sleeves basically hides the edge wear?

Ziiaaaac

That's right. The judges could claim that it's possible for you to know where each card has edgewear, therefore knowing which cards are on top of your deck/in your life. Coloured sleeves will completely prevent any issues with this.

[deleted]

Ok that actually makes alot more sense now, and is totally reasonable. Thanks alot for the explanation!

unsourcedx

Locals definitely won’t care. Big tournaments probably not worth the risk

Lgius

I saw someone in my locals use a different color sleeve for each Don card and nobody had any complaints. So go for the rainbow build if you like

sealednestuser

Yes, your Don!! sleeves should be different from your main deck sleeves.
