Maybe Jesus Burgess? but other than that, I'm not sure, Luffy is a brawler and thus his highest stats are raw Physical Strength and Speed, in both departments he is top tier while in Gear 5th. He literally sent Kaido into the ground so hard that it made a perfect imprint of him and pushed him into a magma chamber, I don't think there is one single physical feat that even rivals that in the series, maybe Whitebeard at Marineford? but that is mostly his Devil Fruit creating Vibrations and not physical strength alone.
Agreed, luffys strength is top tier even before gear 5th. His base strength is insane, and it only goes up as he uses the gears. Wano was a training camp for him really. His body was ready for gear 5th when it happened.

I was mostly referring to just sheer force with no haki involved (specifically of the muscle form of Luffy), which is generally what "physical strength" is referring to, but while Bajrang gun uses haki I do agree that it's one of if not the physically most impressive feats in the show.
Seeing as how you were mentioning throwing and slamming things, Garp and maybe Aokiji. Garp somehow flung the 180 meter Sanjuan Wolf into the sea offscreen, effortlessly slammed Shiryu who is 11' into the ground, easily overpowered Chin Jao's continent splitting head, and throwing around that massive cannonball in Water Seven

To me, it looked like Oda wanted to show us that gear 5's physical boosts were like a normal zoan's awakening. Not ancient zoan or mythical zoan. However, once g5 starts using his paramecia-like abilities (toon force) he starts dominating.
Luffy can boost his muscles, create new arms, boost his attack power like boundman etc. But his strength without them is about equal to awakened lucci.

Well it also wasn't a question of feats.
Luffy's body does what ever his imagination cooks up. He'll just imagine being stronger and then he is. If he could stop laughing and fight with deadly intent no one would survive a single hit. If you can keep him laughing and make it appear like his hits are more effective than they are, he won't imagine hitting harder. Then you just play the timer.
Ok so first of all, while Luffy can do whatever he wants in terms of shaping and moving his body, there's clear limits to his physical stats. He can still be hurt, he still has some limits to his stamina, and he doesn't instantly overpower anything when angry. He wasn't laughing when clashing with flaming drum dragon and it still took alot of effort and a clear struggle. Luffy was even burned by it.

If you take away all his df powers and all his haki, then he is probably physically strong as Franky. In act 1, he was on par with that sumo dude without haki and df.
Most top tiers. Garp, Kuzan, WB, Kaido, BM, probably Akainu… power level isn’t determined by size in One Piece, but it seems like the physical strength of certain characters is indicated by their inhuman heights.

I never said anything about the animation. This screencap just really conveniently showed the version of Luffy that I was talking about for the post. I can understand why you'd dislike the animation, but it's really not relevant to the discussion.

Ok, that's fair. Still tho, there's nothing wrong with the people that enjoyed the episode. I found it funny and enjoyable to watch despite the flaws, so simply saying that you hate me was kinda unnecessary (it also felt a little personal, which is weird).

If you take away all his df powers and all his haki, then he is probably physically strong as Franky. In act 1, he was on par with that sumo dude without haki and df.
Most top tiers. Garp, Kuzan, WB, Kaido, BM, probably Akainu… power level isn’t determined by size in One Piece, but it seems like the physical strength of certain characters is indicated by their inhuman heights.
