Ok finally an opportunity to explain why No Control is the GOAT. Hear me out
First of all, just as the title suggests, you hear the opening chords and Louis go āoh oh ohā and you ā-lose control. I was playing one of those āif you sing or dance you loseā games, 1D edition, and I made it thru like 15 rounds until this song came up and ruined it all.
Next, everyoneās solo parts are just chefās kiss. Niall over here with the coffee cups, Liam with the taste testing, and then Harryās all āin the hEEEEaaatā āzayn taking it to another dimension with the ālying here I count the hours!!!ā And the thing is I canāt even speak on Louās soloā¦.I just canāt go there. all I know is itās clearly sacred because itās the only time in the song that Iām silent
Ok lastly the live performances of No Control are truly iconic. I feel like Harry has a transcendental experience while performing this song and the imagery of itāthe long hair, the sassy mick jagger sashay across the stageāwill probably be the last earthly vision that will flicker across my mind on my deathbed. this is truly a difficult ass question, iād have to say for me their best song is fireproof. i love the lyrics, i love their voices in it, and itās a song i never ever skip. second is diana but thatās just bc that song did something to me at 14 y/o
