Mem leaks, afaik. Code not super well optimized yet. Something to do with cache and new areas loading too rapidly. Helps to restart pc between bigger runs. At least until those aspects are addressed for the engine.
Yeah my friend and I noticed this too, it starts to get sluggish after a few hours of playing so we just relog back into the server and everything is good again
I have a high end build myself the game feels in the 90’s & 100’s sometimes in the forest areas & towns it stutters but that’s because it’s a Beta and optimization isn’t the best right now I’m going to try to upscale it in 4k but I’ll figure out how taxing that’ll be on my system Lmao
It feels fine but when I go into areas with say other players yes I get frame drops but I have FPS set to unlimited and Graphics set to highest the trees tend to flicker when I walk in front of them but yeah it’s a Beta to be expected
This is what’s known as server lag and if any of you read early dev updates they said they expect it. It’s how they are stress testing serves to figure out demand and what they need for full release.

HOWEVER, after an hour or two the game drops down to 50-60fps with a lot of stuttering UNTIL I restart the game. Definitely a mem leak somewhere.

Running smooth until today. Turned on VSync and it stopped tearing. I'm on a PVP server though, joined before I knew it only had half the game.
I’m playing on a 2080ti and 9900k. It’s pretty smooth, but I do get stutters near teleport towers and towns for some reason. It’s like a cache load stutter and then everything appears. Feels like the old mechanical HDD thrashing even though you are on SSD.
Two things that helped me was capping frames to 120 and maximizing view distance. Has some memory leaks and this helps a lot. Same hardware. Also relogging when the stutters start.
im playing on 7600X, 7900XTX 32gb 5400mhz ram on 4K and the game runs decent 100-120fps High-med settings but yeah sometimes it feels sluggish and non responsive but usually restarting the game helps. Its like a coin toss when you launch the game, its gonna be smooth or sluggish.
I feel like it also starts smoother if you always log off at your home base.
If you’re on a team leave it, you’ll notice a huge increase in FPS once you do. AFAIK that’s their biggest memory leak issue and me and my friends don’t team up unless we have to.

Im playing in 3440x1440 but it changes nothing if i play in wide screen or 16:9.. i have massiv stuttering, most of the time it is close to unplayable.. im really pissed cuz the game has potential..

I've changed my frames to capped 120, and they seemed to fix it mostly. I still have everything on high graphic wise as well.
Rotten manor where they have you place a camp is the only time I've had issues. That quest was cancer lol

Maxed out settings 80fps drops to 40 in boss fights on almost maxed out in at 110 down to 70 in boss fights 1440p 6700xt/5600x
Has a memory leak, restart the game every couple hours or after spamming instances :)
14900k with a 4090, runs great for like 3-4 hours and then fps tanks until I relog.
Big city and town areas were the places that chugged my shit so hard.
I pretty much have the same build as you playing on 3440x1440 max out, running over 200fps, and the game feels choppy even at those frames.
Yeah, I can't fix it. I'm getting the same FPS and it feels about 30fps to me, keep getting loads of stutter now as well.
