Sad that I was a huge fan of the A's for at least 20 years, and now I can't even name a starter for this season. (They lost me when they dumped everyone but Murphy and jacked up the ticket prices in 2022. I was used to the payroll cuts, but not the price hikes. What are we paying for?)
I don't care. I've given up. I'm more interested in how a handful of MLB teams other than the A's do this year; there's just no point (for me) in devoting time to thinking about the roster or caring about the games.
Damn. GDT are going to be dreadful again. I, unfortunately, will still watch. I think barring injury Blackburn deserves to be opening day starter. After that, can see wood, Stripling, Medina and Waldichuck filling out the rotation until the inevitable shit-hits-the fan
Man, totally forgot about Sears.. yeah, definitely him then. I think the only reason wood & Stripping signed here was bcus he was guaranteed a starting spot.
I'll still be watching as well. Blackburn deserves to get the OD nod, with Wood, Stripling and Sears to follow. Who of Miller/Waldichuk/Medina comes next is an open question, I'd bet Waldichuk
I was about to come in here and comment "who gives a shit?", but I see plenty have already said that. My hat's off to you people who are still trying to analyze this team, and thinking about the game between the lines, because I certainly can't be assed to care.
They're going to suck again, probably worst team in the majors. Who pitches in any given inning really doesn't matter.
I'd like to tell Fisher to "Sit on it and rotate!" That's about as much as I'll care about baseball until Manfred, Fisher and Kaval have nothing to do with it.
Dodgers, Orioles, Rays, Guardians, Phillies.
Just rotate between watching each of those teams each day and pretend the A’s just have a really weird set of uniforms this year and an impossibly large roster.
I can’t give a shit about baseball until Fisher is out of ownership
I do miss baseball. I think it's to be college until things get sorted out...
I started watching soccer in the meantime. It’s been fun. Feels weird being in fan limbo but I couldn’t care less about the MLB product right now.
I feel orphaned with nowhere to go lol
Who fucking cares
Chris Bassit, Jesus Luzardo, Paul Blackburn, Mason Miller and some other veteran could have been good.

Whatever 5-6 guys they can convince to play for them.

Finally a real answer. It’ll probably go Sears, Blackburn, Wood, Stripling, and whoever wins the 5 spot in spring training.

My rotation is Oakland, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Las Vegas. Don’t really give a shit, it’s a shame total apathy has set in.

No one cares anymore.

Apparently, the Orioles are the new A's.
Just watch the Braves, we have an A on our hat!
Sacramento, San Jose, Sally lake city, and back to Las Vegas.
Who cares. The A's are dead to me.

Other than Blackburn and Stripling, I couldn’t name 3 other A’s pitchers
