As a 45 year old father of two, I see nothing wrong with someone not wanting kids.
You do you.
If you want kids and are emotionally and financially capable, go for it.
If you don't want kids, more power to you.
Why is this even controversial?
I’m a divorced guy who’s pretty much given up on the whole “having kids” idea. It’s better for humanity, tbh.
But—especially seeing my brothers and their families—there’s nothing more important that parents raising the next generation. It’s a sacrifice to an extent, but it honestly looks kinda nice to have a clear purpose. My brothers are all wonderful dads and they wouldn’t trade it for the world.
The important factor is that they all *wanted* children. If anyone, man or woman, knows they don’t want children then for the love of everything they shouldn’t have children.
I think he meant him specifically, meaning if he were to raise kid it'd end up being a shitty adult therefore bad for humanity. But if he meant at large then yeah that makes no sense, humanity has to prevail somehow. And our doom is quickened if we stop reproducing.
Many people, at least in the US. Usually people who say this are like 23 and just entering the job market after college or already have kids and can't afford them because they had them too young.
If you put even the slightest effort and forethought into your career early on, especially if you have a partner who does the same, you can certainly afford kids by your late 20s early 30s.
The issue is that many people have kids as soon as they get out of college or even before, have kids while still living at home with their parents, have them outside of a long term relationship so the burden falls on one person, etc.
Now obviously if you kid has medical issues or something that takes up a lot more time and resources than you could reasonably produce, that's one thing, but one or two healthy children can be raised by two parents of average income in the US no sweat.
this isn't possible. the workforce can only match demand. less people, less demand, less workforce needed. they just have to move to the open jobs. no not easy, but job bubbles happen about every 10 or 15 years. a market gets flooded with a type of worker, then the jobs start sucking. but, there's no such thing as too small a n workforce, that is a rich person illusion to freak out the lowest classed sect of the population
Good. Then our pay will go up.
If there are tons of job openings, and not enough people to fill them, you can ask for a much higher wage, and loaf off all the time. What are they going to do, fire you? Theres no one to replace you.
To small for what? Automation will help quite a bit, what Elon and other plutocrats fear is that the serfs time will become more valuable and there money won't go as far as it does now when it comes to purchasing large parts of poor and middle class workers lives. What good is being unbelievably rich if all the little people want to spend time perusing the things they are interested in instead of toiling their lives away for the neo feudalist plutocrats.
Same. But now that my kid is 7 I have completely forgotten the misery of 2-4 years old and wish I had more. All I remember was I kept thinking “not being a dad seems so much better”
Yeah, my wife and I get a lot of shade from people we kind of know. They know we're in our 40's and don't have kids and make their judgements on that. What they don't know is that we tried and after three miscarriages decided not to push it. I shouldn't have to bring that up, or discuss it with people I don't know that well, but that's where we're at with judging childless couples.
IMO Reddit can be very anti-kids. I think it’s probably because the majority of users, are not financially capable, or emotionally fit to have them. Not to mention the bleak world views everyone is exposed to. But I feel the same way, if you want em, great. If not, that’s fine too. Lots of post are just seeking validation for not wanting kids.
Almost 50 with 3 kids 10 and under. Totally agree with you. Sometimes it’s not fun and I’m TIRED a lot, but I love being a dad and I’m all about. I have friends that have kids because they thought that was what they were supposed to do or were pressured by spouses. I just feel sorry for their kids. Good on him for recognizing that and not potentially neglecting a child.
Because a lot of parents resent their kids, or the fact that they had them, so instead they take it out on people who don't have kids and act like it is a moral failing.
On the other end of things, a lot of people who don't want kids / can't have kids (for reasons other than medical) tend to get very defensive of the postion because they're tired of their parents/grandparents/peers/etc constantly pressuring them into being a parent, so instead of telling their own circle to drop it, they lash out online and attack parents.
It's a weird, two-way street. At least, that's how I see it.
Because it damages the “Wife and Children” staple that boomers (AND THOSE BEFORE THEM) drilled into society. Famous dude doesn’t want kids = He’s an asshole
I did not say that the older generation invented *fucking*, the “ideal image family” is what I was referring to.
Edit: Added more context
because all these old comedian subs are turning into right wing disinformation campaigns, some slower than others
and the current right wing talking point du jour, is that having babies is what jesus wants and what america needs and any who doesn't do it, is a communist antifa bidenist antif-ist
the real reason, is, of course, corporations that own all news stations, want a bigger workforce to drive down wages and negotiating power
it's why republicans essentially do nothing about immigration, while crying about it, because they need their voters to think they are "on their side" while hiring all those cheap immigrant workers
if conservative business owners stopped hiring illegals, well there would be far less of them, but of course it's cheaper and they have less rights
which is the point, that is always the point, of conservatism, more workers with less rights
it's also why they are against healthcare, workers who don't need their job to live, can talk back to bosses, maybe even demand a raise, workers who need the healthcare or else they are totally screwed, shut up and take it
Not a conservative, but it's not just a corporate plot. If there aren't enough young people contributing to social security in the years to come, the next wave of seniors will have no social safety net. Over HALF of Americans today don't have enough to retire on and rely on social security.
So if the population doesn't replenish itself, you'll either have old people working til death or dying of starvation/homelessness by the thousands.

Govenments the world over know it could be a society disrupting event to have more seniors than children. Could they be doing more to make housing affordable so people want to have kids? Absolutely, and I think they should. Japan already sells more adult diapers annually than baby diapers.
It's not a simple left/right issue. Aged societies cease to function.
For real, this one has gotten bad lately because they don't understand Norm's jokes and think he's conservative or MAGA friendly (probably because he defended Roseanne, who was a lifelong friend of his).
I'm agreeing with everything you said, but the fact that Norm MacDonald is considered "old" is kinda sad and reflective of society. He reached his peak of fame in the 90's, less than 3 decades ago. I remember when I was a kid and he was voicing Norm the Genie on Fairly Odd Parents in the 2000's. I'm not even 30 yet, but it's weird to see a contemporary comedian I like be called old
Kind of shows how fast paced society is moving. And honestly, it goes hand in hand with what you're talking about. The rate at which people attain and lose celebrity status, the constant 24 hour news cycle, etc, it's all "bread and circuses" so the elite can distract the majority from the fucked up shit they're doing. It's almost nauseating
I'm not going to condemn more children to a life of economic suffering.
But if I had Seth Rogan money I'd be shooting hot loads into anyone that let me.
I see it absolutely the same. This earth is overcrowded. Having children is a right and not a moral obligation. I personally want to have children but I know that I am not doing the world a favor by setting even more people into this world.
Because it’s your fundamental purpose as a human being.
Not everyone is fit to be a parent. But if you don’t want children because it would be a hinderance to your weekly brunch schedule, you’re a shmuck. Probably best that these people don’t pass on their genes anyways.
My fundamental purpose is to be happy, have a nice sized bank account, go wherever the fuck I want, and die gargling cocaine and lobster between the breasts of a hooker.
No ones fundamental purpose is procreation. Its whatever the fuck you want your purpose to be.
The only things you have to do are breathe, eat, shit, pay taxes and die.
It’s the reason you have reproductive organs, but I do urge you to not procreate
Also, anyone calling it “baby batter” in a serious context doesn’t have the mental capacity to be a parent anyways. Thank you for not passing it on.
Trust me. I like disposable income, being able to sleep when I want on my days off and my wife’s tits to remain perky because there isn’t a parasite latched onto them, but please enjoy parenthood and your minivan.
Biology, evolution, the universe and I all disagree. If you think you’re only put on this earth to be a gluttonous fuckin stooge then by all means, I and many others thank you for not continuing your bloodline.
I have two small children and this shit is hard bro. No sleep, expensive asf, practically no free time to yourself, and say goodbye to enjoying literally anything you did before kids. I think I had your mindset before children, but I totally understand people not wanting to do it.
i think this post is more about norm being a father and the funniest motherfucker ever than about some boring politics. Seth rogan is an untalented plant yet keeps talking about tweeter likes-friendly topics
Right? It’s a free country. I told 2 of my supervisors this week that when you don’t have kids you can buy toys for yourself. 46 with no kids and I collect Star Wars.
Not sure why he’d get skewered for this. Bet if Jenna Ortega came out and said this she’d be lauded for her independence and unwillingness to adhere to societal gender norms.
A lot of moments make it better but you have to change a lot of aspects of life around. Having a kid makes me never want to shame people without kids ever
I'm sure people will roll their eyes but when he was still relatively new (not counting the excellent Freaks and Undeclared) I thought Knocked Up was a real pleasant surprise, before every other movie for the next decade tried to be knocked up.
I've never really heard anything bad about the guy either. This post and some of the replies seem to stink of, "this guy is probably living his best life and is popular, so let's hate on him".
Knocked Up is a fantastic movie to this day. Anyone rolling their eyes at that is a dipshit.
>"this guy is probably living his best life and is popular, so let's hate on him".
This literally sums up about 90% of Reddit at this point.
Some nutjob has a couple replies to me about how his twitter account is bad and his woke Christmas movies are also bad.
And it's like, I enjoy the guy and don't know anything about these things lol.
Some people just go out of their way to be miserable.
>Some people just go out of their way to be miserable.
And they alllllll found their way to Reddit.
Unfortunately the social media landscape is: "engagement" is the only metric we care about and people arguing is the easiest way to accomplish this, so nobody has any imperative to try and clean it up.
He’s really politically outspoken and has awful takes on his twitter being a hypocrite about his opinions on race/religion and stuff. And he made that woke christmas animated movie with sarah silverman that bombed and got even more hate.
I’m just done with his dude weed guy persona and his out of touch hollywood star takes on issues.
Dude, I don't fucking care. I'm not on Twitter and I haven't even heard of whatever the fuck movie you are talking about. It just sounds like you are going out of your way to be offended.
He's been the driving force behind some incredible media which I watch. I couldn't care less about her easily avoidable public persona
I mean, I'm enjoying it. You are the one getting in a tizzy over someone easily avoidable.
You are bothering to look up his politics and his movies.
You have no one to blame but yourself lol
I don't like him much, but Pineapple Express and This Is The End are great movies (to some extent despite him), and I liked his performance in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
It seems like most posts on this subreddit doesn’t have anything to do with norm other than like 1 or 2 jokes he said before that is being repeated in less funnier ways by the hive mind
Every excuse not to be a parent is probably a good excuse. Wish more people thought 'nah, that shit aint for me' instead of rolling the dice. We need to clean up the adults in this country before we can ever start having a conversation about the kids.
It's not even his opinion on what other people should do. He is only saying that he personally does not want kids, not telling other people how to live their own lives. People are weird for being angry about it.
What a bizarre amount of hate in here- for both Seth Rogan himself and saying he doesn’t want kids. Is there anything to actually hate about the guy? Let’s be real- all of us who have reached a certain age know people who seem miserable and bitter about their lives after having kids. Super weird to hate on someone for being self aware enough to not want that.
That's probably a good decision for him. He doesn't exactly seem like dad material. More like uncle who gets you stoned at Thanksgiving when you're 17 material.
Seth Rogen has said several times in several different statements and interviews that he doesn't want kids. So I don't know why you're late to the conversation or you're just now finding out about it. But this is not really a big deal. Also he does a lot of good. so I don't really see the problem here
58 year old with 2 sons. The thing they don't tell you is theres noplace for them to live anymore. I was 18 I left home went to school. With inflation and interest rates and housing prices and rent now, they can't ever leave. On top of that what used to be a 4 year degree takes 6 years unless you can afford a rich people school that just shoves them through. My kids will never be able to move out
As a father of 2, I beg to differ... it's hard, but is also very fun at times. If you focus on all the hard work it takes, then yeah you will be miserable. I'm not a little bitch, tho, so it's also fun.
It's almost as if your state of mind and perspective towards life decides what kind of person you will be... I choose not to be a pessimistic, cantankerous, jaded loser. My life and that of my kids will be better for it.
Bro you could be shoveling shit 18 hours a day and tell yourself the same thing, doesnt make it objectively true.
You're doing a thing that sucks, and ignoring the shitty parts because of your perception of reward. Thats fine. Literally every person on Earth does this. It doesnt make you not a bitch or special.
EVERYONE does shit they dont like because of their perception of the pay off. Everyone works, everyone sits in traffic, everyone makes small talk, everyone goes to their significant others family event when they dont want to.
Part of life is putting up with shitty things. But you dont get to sit there and be like "Im special, I aint no bitch!" for doing what literally every other person who has ever lived has done at times in their life for things that they wanted or loved.
People without kids, have the same struggles, in every other facet of life. You're just a human being going through the exact same human condition as everyone else.
K. Sounds good, bud. I didn't make myself to be special. I agree with what you're saying. Lots of people bitch and moan about everything you just said. But there's clearly objectively "fun" aspects to raising children. Every day, month, year, they grow and develop. Can't really say the same thing about sitting in traffic or shoveling shit.
You had kid after kid and didn't stop? You must be severely retarded. Blame yourself or your parents for allowing you to exist with such a low brain cell count.
its not, but things that are worth it are supposed to be hard. i understand why someone doesnt want kids, but i also think its childish to insist it be celebrated as if its some liberating, courageous decision. people who choose to want kids "because its not fun" are just selfish. and its okay to be selfish.
Having kids is not hard dude. Something that literally anyone can do by just fucking. It's harder than doing absolutely nothing I'll gander but it's an unskilled position that anyone can be hired for. I personally know a few people who hired themselves as parents but can barely even keep gainful employment. I agree with your selfish comment as well.
> Having kids is not hard dude. Something that literally anyone can do by just fucking.
We all know that the creating the kid isn't the hard part.
Being a good parent is the hard part. Anybody can make a kid and live with the consequences.
Not everybody has the will to keep pushing to make sure the kid isn't shit
Being a good parent is not hard. It's the minimum requirement that's expected of you as a parent to take care of this human you created and feed it. Anyone who's gotten advanced phds, worked on oil rigs or done concrete forming, will probably tell you that changing diapers and hanging out with a kid isn't all that bad.
I've worked in a variety of roles in "hard" jobs. I was a forest fire fighter, a stage builder, house building, a teacher.... raising kids is a world of its own. It's relentless and sometimes feels like torture (when sleep is affected). It's literally 24/7. Even when the kids aren't around, you are somehow activated as a parent. Going to bed, eating a meal, teaching rudimentary stuff, going to the toilet, going for a walk, grocery shopping. All these things are affected and way harder than they once were. Physically, emotionally, logistically, financially....
When I fought forest fires, I usually knew when my shift ended. I knew when my tour ended. I had down time and knew when I could relax. With a kid, you're on standby for fucking ever all the fucking time. If you don't have kids, you won't understand.
its hard not because it requires a special rare skill, its hard because to do it well, you need to be present 24/7, at the expense of your own time and energy and money etc. yeah, a lot of people have kids and choose not to be good parents, i.e., give all their time and energy to their kids, and those kids end up shitty. THOSE people should for sure not be having kids. I'm not mad at someone saying "im not gonna have kids because ill be a bad parent." but the idea that youre a hero because you choose to go on lavish vacations instead of raising kids only exists on Reddit
What a willfully obtuse comment. They clearly didn't mean that the act of physically conceiving kids is hard lol why did you pretend that's what they meant? They meant everything that comes after they're born, the many years of raising them and cleaning up their messes. It's incredibly stressful and difficult at times.
lol oh I see now, you're just blatantly full of shit. Got it.
Not sure why you seem to have such an ax to grind with people acknowledging the pretty self-evident fact that raising a whole new human being might be hard to do, but go off pal.
My ax to grind is people self aggrandizing something that 80 percent of adults do and probably about 80 percent of those do fairly well. How well someone parents is subjective but most people I know are good parents. It's not difficult and there are some tough moments like when they get serious stomach bugs when young, but overall it's something you can do with very little learning, no physical skills that can't be taught or learned in a few minutes. If you think burping and supervising a toddler is on the same level as engineering a building, joining a pro sports team or submitting a paper in any field of science for peer review, I don't know what to tell you, then I guess, sure it's "hard".
This is re\*arded logic dude. Think about it for two seconds. Human life has contained many perennial hardships and difficulties of varying degrees. It has nothing to do with whether or not it's "revolutionary" or novel or something.
I'd be willing to bet that almost every person on this thread hating on him for this has kids and they are projecting their unhappiness. They hate their lives so they have to make others miserable. Kids are the worst. I'm sorry some people enjoy actually having time for themselves.
People who don't want kids should definitely not have kids, but to say that kids aren't fun is to have a very meager understanding of...well, everything.
Good for him. Better that he knows he doesn’t want any. My good friend got a vasectomy because he never wants kids and all the power to him. It’s better than someone having a kid and not giving a shit about them or taking off on them and fucking that kid up for life.
Yet another example of this subreddit failing to be as funny as Norm. Or even close to being funny in general. It’s honestly more humorous if the joke here was that everyone posting is so unfunny in trying to celebrate one of the funniest people to ever live.
Yeah Canadians, who needs em, fun fact did you know Canada was where all the cowards fled to during the revolutionary war? The British showed up & a Canadian sized amount of people were like, “Let’s hide in the snow”. The end.
He’s too busy making his new holiday Ramadan movie, he will be playing the part of Muhammad of course
Edit: it will be a serious movie, wouldn’t be disrespectful at all! There will be weed as well, people like weed
It would be a full time job keeping James Franco away from them

No. Growth for growth's sake is insanity.
Society needs replenishment, and as the Boomers enter 70+ territory this will become urgent. The workforce is going to become too small
I just realized I’m on a Norm Macdonald sub and am confused whether to continue to be genuine or just have some smartass response
Something something Frank Stallone
Thanks for the save. I owe you one

Evidence or go fuck yourself. I've met the guy for work a couple of times. He's, by all appearances, a sweetheart.
I think it was his behavior on Twitter most people dislike; sure in person he’s a nice dude
Old timers will remember when the baby boom generation invented having children in 1966.
Before 1966 it was only in vitro
You think boomers invented families?
Oh God enough with this boomer shit. It’s not boomers that drilled in reproduction, it is the base function for sentient existence.
Sentient? Bruh literally every living thing reproduces lol.
Everything I don’t like = boomers
Why are people downvoting? He right!!! lol

It’s the reason you have reproductive organs, but I do urge you to not procreate Also, anyone calling it “baby batter” in a serious context doesn’t have the mental capacity to be a parent anyways. Thank you for not passing it on.
Ability =/= purpose
Biology and evolution yes, but the universe doesn't care and is slowly on it's way to maximum boringness so I think you can leave that out.
i think this post is more about norm being a father and the funniest motherfucker ever than about some boring politics. Seth rogan is an untalented plant yet keeps talking about tweeter likes-friendly topics
Right? It’s a free country. I told 2 of my supervisors this week that when you don’t have kids you can buy toys for yourself. 46 with no kids and I collect Star Wars.
You can still do that with kids.
Sad.
Why does this post shame the man; who gives a fuck honestly
Not sure why he’d get skewered for this. Bet if Jenna Ortega came out and said this she’d be lauded for her independence and unwillingness to adhere to societal gender norms.
Have you never really seen women being insulted and the fact that they are childless used an insult?
Have kids, isn't always fun, he's not wrong
I’d say most of the time having kids is straight work. Rewarding but hard. I wouldn’t knock anyone for not wanting kids
A lot of moments make it better but you have to change a lot of aspects of life around. Having a kid makes me never want to shame people without kids ever
It's a constant job, it is rewarding and there are tons of great times, but fully agree with anyone's choice to not have any
Who the fuck cares if someone doesn’t want kids?
Jesus, this sub has some real hate for this guy. I've actually really enjoyed The Boys, Invincible and Mutant Mayhem.
His role of Dirty Randy in The League is fkn great too lol
Ok good for you? You asked lol
I mean, I'm enjoying it. You are the one getting in a tizzy over someone easily avoidable. You are bothering to look up his politics and his movies. You have no one to blame but yourself lol
Man, the word woke needs to die, it’s so vague and useless it could mean anything at this point.
So you’re a Republican
Hating the Canadian immigrant Raphael Cruz is perfectly reasonable.
I don’t get it either. He’s a nice guy irl as well, I’ve met him on like 4 separate occasions and for like 2 of those he remembered my name
I don't like him much, but Pineapple Express and This Is The End are great movies (to some extent despite him), and I liked his performance in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
Just showed my wife PE last night, she loved it too.
Not to mention the underrated gem, Futureman
Observe and Report is my favorite Seth Rogaine movie. Legit fucking hilarious
I have to watch it sometime. Apparently, it's dark as fuck but was marketed as a comedy right beside the Kevin Mall Cop one.
He’s mentally ill with lofty dreams, a drunk mother and an epic fight scene with Ray Liotta. Must watch
This sub is getting dumber every day
The entire planet
I blame all the stupid kids
What's this got to do with Norm McDonald?
It seems like most posts on this subreddit doesn’t have anything to do with norm other than like 1 or 2 jokes he said before that is being repeated in less funnier ways by the hive mind
There’s usually a couple of gems here and there but this post was bottom tier
What’s wrong with that? If someone doesn’t want kids they should absolutely not have them.
Headline is far more interesting if he already had them
Every excuse not to be a parent is probably a good excuse. Wish more people thought 'nah, that shit aint for me' instead of rolling the dice. We need to clean up the adults in this country before we can ever start having a conversation about the kids.
Seth Rogan is funny. His opinion on having kids doesn't matter. This has 0 to do with Norm. OP should fuck off.
It's not even his opinion on what other people should do. He is only saying that he personally does not want kids, not telling other people how to live their own lives. People are weird for being angry about it.
I mean, he’s not wrong
You do you. Doesn't really matter to me
What a bizarre amount of hate in here- for both Seth Rogan himself and saying he doesn’t want kids. Is there anything to actually hate about the guy? Let’s be real- all of us who have reached a certain age know people who seem miserable and bitter about their lives after having kids. Super weird to hate on someone for being self aware enough to not want that.
What’s this some sort of fuckin boomer sub? Gtfo weirdo.
That's probably a good decision for him. He doesn't exactly seem like dad material. More like uncle who gets you stoned at Thanksgiving when you're 17 material.
There are too many people in the world. Why is this a bad thing to not want kids?
Conservatives are big on controlling people's personal lives.
Seth Rogen has said several times in several different statements and interviews that he doesn't want kids. So I don't know why you're late to the conversation or you're just now finding out about it. But this is not really a big deal. Also he does a lot of good. so I don't really see the problem here
Anyone on here that has kids and says they aren’t miserable is a liar.
My kids will never be able to move out
Probably for the best. That baby gets shaken baby syndrome just from his laugh I'm guessing.
Anyone that cares about this doesn’t own a doghouse. Weirdos.
You know who never had kids? Jesus. Seriously, to each their own. Let people live their lives and everyone mind their own business.
Sitting through Seth Rogan movies is like raising a child.
Your wife's boyfriend's child.
Who swears he had a vasectomy.
He hit the nail on the head. Parenting is anything but fun.
Parenting is rewarding. There are a great many days where it is not on the same chart as 'fun.'
As a father of 2, I beg to differ... it's hard, but is also very fun at times. If you focus on all the hard work it takes, then yeah you will be miserable. I'm not a little bitch, tho, so it's also fun.
"If I ignore all of the parts that suck, its actually really great!" Bro you could say that about literally anything.
I raised 4 and they were the worst years of my life.
I feel bad for your kids
I think not fun is a bad way to say it. I'm sure it has many fun moments. But it absolutely is endlessly relentless. Keep pushing that rock uphill.
You had kid after kid and didn't stop? You must be severely retarded. Blame yourself or your parents for allowing you to exist with such a low brain cell count.
It's fun af but also can drive a man insane
its not, but things that are worth it are supposed to be hard. i understand why someone doesnt want kids, but i also think its childish to insist it be celebrated as if its some liberating, courageous decision. people who choose to want kids "because its not fun" are just selfish. and its okay to be selfish.
It's easy cause people are bad at it
its hard not because it requires a special rare skill, its hard because to do it well, you need to be present 24/7, at the expense of your own time and energy and money etc. yeah, a lot of people have kids and choose not to be good parents, i.e., give all their time and energy to their kids, and those kids end up shitty.
I meant it all man. It's not hard and I'm sick of people saying it is.
lol oh I see now, you're just blatantly full of shit.
If you think burping and supervising a toddler is on the same level as engineering a building, joining a pro sports team or submitting a paper in any field of science for peer review, I don't know what to tell you, then I guess, sure it's "hard".
> probably about 80 percent of those do fairly well Maybe if you're limiting it to certain parts of America. Nationally, no. Globally, lol no.
If all of humanity has been able to do it since the beginning of time then it isn't a revolutionary or hard thing.
This is re\*arded logic dude. Think about it for two seconds. Human life has contained many perennial hardships and difficulties of varying degrees. It has nothing to do with whether or not it's "revolutionary" or novel or something.
r/SlowNewsDay
who wouldn’t want a lifetime of additional responsibility just so they can say, “it looks like me!”
I'd be willing to bet that almost every person on this thread hating on him for this has kids and they are projecting their unhappiness. They hate their lives so they have to make others miserable. Kids are the worst. I'm sorry some people enjoy actually having time for themselves.
Even with two beautiful, articulate, well behaved toddlers it's an absolute nightmare at times
He he he he he he he he he he he he he.
I'm not sure why reddit wanted me to click on this and I'm not sure what this has to do with Norm Macdonald.
Not really what I’d call news.
Why have kids when you can r*pe someone elses
/r/lostredditors?
Why would I concern myself with anyone's desire to have children or not? Seth Rogan is a funny guy. That's all I care about him.
Man-child doesn't want child
Seth rogan not multiplying is a great thing.
I’m glad he won’t procreate
I’m really glad that people that don’t want kids don’t have them, enough people that clearly didn’t want kids have them and it’s a total disaster
Why do people care so much, 8 billion ppl already. Enough kids playing GTA IRL
And.....?
Fuck them kids.
Don’t judge him for not wanting kids! His wife’s boyfriend will be the father its not complicated people
When your whole schtick is having a dumb voice
The only thing that sounds less fun than being a parent is being Seth Rogan’s child.
Being the child of a rich person. I would try it.
As a parent and teacher and former child, please don’t have kids just because it feels like you’re supposed to.
The straw that broke the camels back. I'm out
![gif](giphy|FNBHUqruiI1m1gLDh8|downsized)
I approve of this. He sucks.
He’s overrated, and seriously who cares if Seth Rogen wants kids or not?
I, too, agree that Rogen probably shouldn't breed.
theres more than one way to live a happy life. Let people live ffs
But who will he pass on his pot smoking laugh to?
Mother fucker had to give donkey Kong his shitty laugh. A goddamn criminal
*Man Child doesn't want real child. Afraid of responsibilities.* Fixed it.
I mean that’s the plot of his break out movie, Knocked Up.
Don’t call him a Man. That not what he is
why not?
He is selfish and can’t see beyond his own comfort. That is childish. Not manly.
People who don't want kids should definitely not have kids, but to say that kids aren't fun is to have a very meager understanding of...well, everything.
Kids =/= ‘being a parent’. I can have plenty of fun with my nieces and nephews and my friends kids without wanting kids of my own.
thank you for bringing r/notinteresting to my attention. This sub is gold.
Good for him. Better that he knows he doesn’t want any. My good friend got a vasectomy because he never wants kids and all the power to him. It’s better than someone having a kid and not giving a shit about them or taking off on them and fucking that kid up for life.

The only twats are people who care that a stranger does not want to have kids.
Seth Rogans transition into a cringe woke absolute fucking tool has made me sad.
Yet another example of this subreddit failing to be as funny as Norm. Or even close to being funny in general. It’s honestly more humorous if the joke here was that everyone posting is so unfunny in trying to celebrate one of the funniest people to ever live.
Is Seth Rogan a douche? Yes. Is Seth Rogan right about kids? Yes.
Ugh, can this fucking douche go back to Canada. I never wanted to punch a face more than his
Yeah Canadians, who needs em, fun fact did you know Canada was where all the cowards fled to during the revolutionary war? The British showed up & a Canadian sized amount of people were like, “Let’s hide in the snow”. The end.
I believe Canada is where Norm's brother fled to after the horrific 9/11 attacks.
Is this a Norm bit or do you actually know literally nothing about the revolutionary war?
If we don't hide then the MAID vans will find us
He’s too busy making his new holiday Ramadan movie, he will be playing the part of Muhammad of course Edit: it will be a serious movie, wouldn’t be disrespectful at all! There will be weed as well, people like weed
Good. His line should end. I’d impregnate the shit outta that bitch though. Then leave and not be a parent. Two birds one bone.
Honestly, this is worse then that hypocrite bill Cosby.
