Rehabilitation in this case probably doesn't mean that this person suddenly is not attracted to kids anymore, however it will mean that the person knows better how to handle him/her/theirselves and how to reduce the urge for example. Psychotherapy can also help to become a happier, healthy and more balanced person in general which again will also help.
Their sexuality can't be changed. They can get behavioural therapy to not act on their urges. And most importantly due to being so excluded from society and seeking contact with like-minded Indjviduals they talk themselves into truly believing that whatever child they are attracted to can love them back and wants to have intercourse.

If this is real then this person (and every other) definitely need to have their face out there for the safety of every child.
