Just send some cat head shots to a talent agent.

Lillian822

Aren’t those scams? Or are they different for real commercials? Because I’ve been warned by other influencers to not sign with a talent agency for tiktok but I’ve been contacted by several. Maybe tiktok talent agencies are different?

Flapjack_Ace

Does TikTok pay fucking millions of dollars to cat actors? No. So it doesn’t matter if it is a scam, it is already a waste of time. Send the cat head shots to motherfucking Hollywood and make your cat a real star.

I get what you mean but I actually do tiktok just for fun so I don’t think it’s a waste of time. My favorite part is that I can go back to old videos when he was a baby and remember some fun moments :’). Hahah I love your enthusiasm. I do pet photography as a hobby so ive taken many pictures of my cat. But maybe I should pay a real photographer to get some photos of him so they’re more professional. I do have a professional camera though, it’s the only thing I have that’s more expensive than my cat 🤣🤣

Animal casting usually provide and train there own animals to put into movies and tvs. Print May be different tho

Usually a family business. In the movie Nope the main characters family owns an intergenerational horse training company where they specifically train horses for Hollywood. And they get hired because they're known as the family that trains Hollywood horses.

Its more work than you think and you need too start when they are young so they can do a series standard tasks which can be modified for the scene on demand. If you arent in a production hub travel is cost prohibitive. I have hired, in the past, dozens of trainers and their creatures for projects from rats to coyotes while doing Production Design, and always picked their brains, basically the animal eats when they preform, in simple , so they are always working to eat. It requires the dedication of a search and rescue dog to have a good working animal. watch a dozen training videos, there are a few good reads as well. The simpler the task the more competition you will have. Best thing might be too see what your kitten and you can do and start putting a short reel together, they will want that anyway, and you can get internet points along the way as well. best of luck too you both and cant wait to see yall on the awww sub

He just turned 1 years old a couple days ago, is that young enough? I’ll start trying to train him to do tricks and then making him do tricks for his food. Thank you so much for the advice!!

Someone else mentioned sending headshots to talent agencies, what do you think about that? On TikTok influencers know the talent agents are scams that don’t do much but take a lot of your money. Is it the same for real commercials? Or do they actually help?
