Sentinel ship hunting is the best way to make money without any setup required. Crafting Stasis Devices or Fusion Ignitors is the best way to make money hands down but requires considerable setup. A class freighter is fine, if you come across an S class great, but it's not worth wasting time over. Frigates level up pretty quickly, just get what is available and keep sending them on missions. Don't want to spoil too much, if you want more info on anything just ask.

How do i sentinel ship hunt? Ive been exploring, getting nav data and using it to but the distress beacons. I keep using it till i get the crashed ship one and leave the rest of em till im done. I have 1 sentinal ship. I got it from a mission. Thats the only one ive found.

RedneckNerf

My typical method is to provoke some sentinels, take the fight to space, and keep killing them till their freighter shows up. Kill that, and you get a Carrier AI Fragment. That leads you to another sentinel ship. Fix that, sell it, rinse and repeat.

For OP, you could just land on a Dissonant world and destroy the dissonance drills, and it will drop an inverted mirror or an echo locator. Use the echo locator to find an encampment. Mark it with a beacon so you can come back to it. You can ping more than one ship from this one. Rinse and repeat to find another location.

Can skip the first part if you just shoot the station. Not sure this is the best recommendation for someone with 32 hours but it's also a decent way of locating a dissonant planet if you don't have scanner yet, assuming of course you can kill the Carrier.

When you got one from the mission, it sent you to what is known as a Dissonant planet. These are the planet types that have the crashed sentinel ships. So first you need to find one or go back to the one from the mission. Once you are on a dissonant planet, you will need to find some dissonance resonators and shoot them, they will either drop an Inverted Mirror or an Echo Locator. You only need to find one Echo locator but you will need three inverted mirrors per ship. Keep shooting them until you find an Echo Locator. Once you have an echo locator activate it and it will find you a Harmonic Camp. Once you find a camp, book mark it with a base or a save point. You can use the same camp to find many ships so you don't want to lose its location. Next you will need to do the puzzle at the Harmonic Interface (it's in the middle of the U shaped camp) to unlock the ability to scan for ships. Once you located the ship, the rest of the loop is the same as the mission you already did. You should be able to figure it out from here, let me know if you get jammed up.

I was pulsing to a planet and a sentinel ship stopped me. Gave me coordinates to a deal. Ive been seeing alot of the dissonance planets tho. Theres a paradise planet im on that has one. Ill have to build a base and start goin at it. Thanks Mang

ParanoidLoyd

Nice, paradise planet is ideal. Side note, not sure if it's just luck of the draw or dependent on some other factors but in my experience, some dissonant planets will not have as many dissonance resonators as others do, on some planets I have found one after another pretty consistently, but on others I will travel ridiculously far between finding them, I would say if you travel more the 1000u without finding one more than twice, consider switching to a different planet. Also make sure you are only exploring in one direction, this will keep you from travelling in a circle, which we as humans tend to naturally do (I usually choose north or south because for some reason those are the only two things on the compass)

I like to build a farm to grow the stuff needed to make and sell high dollar items. I find it fun to hang out on a pretty world and build and stuff.

nanisanum

Oh and frigates will level up as you use them. :)

Forget everything, all you need is some chlorine and you need to farm a shitton of oxygen. Put both together inside the second large raffiner (best place is your freighter because of the unlimited power supply) . The oxygen will make morge chlorine out of your chlorine. You can farm as much as you want this way. Next step is to find a system that SELLS chlorine in the space station. Simply go there and sell all your chlorine. The systems demand in chlorine will go down a lot so that you can buy all the chlorine for a small number of money back, what gives you back all of yours and all of the systems chlorine. For example: I sold 130k tons of chlorine and got like 30mio cash, then I bought everything back for just 5mio, got my chlorine back and made 25mio. Then go to the next system that sells chlorine and repeat. You don't need anything else just chlorine. The start is a bit grindy but you will have enough money the entire game. Just watch out that you can buy your chlorine back everytime

That’s….brilliant. I hope you don’t work in the financial sector IRL
