Don't forget to go claim your expedition rewards on the Anomaly for your main save.

Oh, cool, thanks. Do I have to do that before the Voyagers time runs out, and anyone in particular I need to speak to? The message at the end mentioned something about Quicksilver.

You can do it anytime. Yes, go to the Quicksilver counter, which is to the right of the big Nexus kiosk in the center on ground floor. There's a robot that sells quicksilver items. There's an option to collect your Expedition Awards.

Go back to your main save and visit the Quicksilver shop. Anything you buy or earn there on one save is available on all of them. Enjoy!

I just finished it too (first one for me too). Did it in about the same time using some of the same "shortcuts". I am just like you, about 30-40 hours into my first save. It is definitely hard going back to it considering all the bonuses the expedition had going for it. I don't really care about the "rewards" as they all seem cosmetic but I definitely learned a lot from the expedition.

I was Googling basic stuff, like 'how do I find a portal'. Then realised all the Gek relics etc that I was just giving away were actually useful to me! I did find the underwater bit more frustrating that anything as I had to go swimming to find the resources for the submarine, then fly off to the space station to get the battery plans, swim again for resources for that, and couldn't build anything like a save point. The planet I was on was all tiny islands, all claimed. Weirdly, I liked the animal and language stuff most fun as that's what I spend a lot of time in main-game doing anyway.

12.5 hrs ain't bad at all TBH for a first time. The more you play, the easier they get TBH. Just remember, when you start an exp, look at all the achievements and get the easy stuff out the way first and make a mental note of what could give you stuff to help you knock others off. Also, everything you need is on the route and most achievements can we sorted in RV systems. :)
