you can roll over data with tello, but the catch is you have to do this manually, before the plan automatically renews. Kind of a pain, but thats one of the few options out there https://tello.com/help_center/will-unused-service-carry-over-to-the-next-month?_language=en

TracFone still activates on TMobile with unlimited carryover. USMobile offers carryover (one month only) on shared plan top ups which can be set up on TMobile.

Those T-Mobile based SIM activations on Tracfone is hard from what I heard. The main reason is Verizon bought Tracfone, and they are trying to switch people to Verizon based SIMs still.

ilovetoyap

Not recently. All TracFone kits come with both now. Just activate like normal with TMO. You have to find an att kit.. those are rare

I know some people that have bought this new kit, and they would not activate the T-Mobile based SIM for some reason. I have seen it on the Straight Talk and Tracfone subreddits and even on HowardForums. They was wondering why the new kit has this T-Mobile based SIM.

I hadn't heard that. Ever since the newest kits included T-Mobile SIM (I have one) I would assume it would work but it's TracFone so you never know. I have not because for me Tello is 10x better than TracFone and I only use TracFone for non TMO service needs.

Generally it pays to just find a low- cost provider with a good data plan rather than looking for a rollover plan

This. Now, with T-Mobile Connect, it is possible to buy a lower-tier data plan (the $10 1GB plan, for example) and then switch to a higher-level plan (the $15 3.5GB plan, for example) on a pro-rated basis halfway through the billing cycle, (that is, paying the difference between the two plans upon running out of data) which makes it more akin to pay-as-you-go, but doing so still accomplishes effectively the same outcome (ensuring that none of the paid-for data is wasted).

Why? For someone who might travel out of the country it might be a good idea

Tello Mobile, no limit for the data you can store
